The moment the pen was put down, the contract slowly lit up with a blue light.
The paper slipped from Lacey's hand and returned to Leah's.
Lia smiled slightly as she accepted the contract.
"Yes, from today onwards, you are a full-time employee of the Clavner family."
"Don't worry, our patriarch will make sure you have a proper meeting with the other employee."
"ah?"
Lacey looked completely bewildered, still unable to understand what had happened.

Instantly, a strong wind arose.
The huge curtains swayed constantly, and the windows trembled slightly under the wind pressure, making a banging sound.
The terrifying magical aura gradually gathered around Victor, and a blue array appeared beneath his feet.
An extremely dense magical energy spread throughout the room.
Is an earthquake coming!?
She panicked and quickly stood up, only to find that she was now surrounded by an ever-expanding magic circle.
"Teleportation array...?"

The teleportation array was formed instantly, and a surge of blue magical power burst forth from the skylight.
A tremendous amount of energy surged out through the open windows all around.
"Go in."
Viktor's voice slowly rang out.
Lacey was a little scared, but Victor continued talking.
"You will see the people you want to see there."
Perhaps it was Victor's words that ignited Lacey's strong will. She took a deep breath, mustered her courage, and closed her eyes.
One foot stepped into the pillar of light.
In just half a second, her entire figure transformed into blue aura and disappeared from everyone's sight.
The magic circle did not dissipate after she left.
Lia looked at Victor, who still hadn't moved, and was somewhat puzzled.
"Huh? Aren't we going back together?"
Victor stood up, his trench coat billowing wildly in the strong wind.
It made a whooshing sound.
"Bring Cindy along, and call Helnason too."
Leah paused for a moment. She could understand bringing Cindy along, but calling him Helnersen...
Victor stood with his hands in his pockets, his cold gaze seemingly fixed on the direction of the capital.
"There are some scores I need to settle with Jess."
"Let's do the math."
