The carriage sped across the dirt, surrounded by mounted guards clad in armor and carrying various weapons.
Numerous horses galloped at high speed, passing through the dust and muddy roads, and arrived on the flat streets.
The footsteps of the horses pulling the carriage gradually thinned out until they stopped.
Aurelion was somewhat puzzled, and she asked Lady Cassanna:
"Auntie, why aren't we leaving?"
Kasanna reached out a hand and slowly parted the curtains of the carriage.
"Because we've arrived."
Aurelion looked out the car window.
This is a scene that would be breathtaking for anyone who comes here.
Countless skyscrapers rose from the ground, flanked by magically powered streetlights, and various magical powers poured out from the enormous chimney-like buildings.
The flow of traffic on the street seemed to be under a spell; Aurelion couldn't see a single carriage.
Only mechanical devices emitting white smoke and dust sped along.
Some pedestrians were even wearing strange mechanical prosthetics as they walked on the road.
The mechanical eyeballs swayed back and forth in their sockets, and it was unclear whether they could actually see people.
There are also cats and dogs twisting gears and weaving through the streets, seemingly adding a touch of spirit to the entire mechanical city's ecosystem.
Aurelion stared wide-eyed at the scenery outside the window, observing everything like a curious child.
"Get off the bus."
The guards outside opened the car door and placed benches for the two of them to stand on.
The two of them disembarked from the carriage one after the other, their movements evenly graceful.
"Go back and report for duty. You don't need to protect me anymore."
Kasanna calmly gave orders to the guards around her.
This is the territory of the Raiser family; they don't need these guards.
They all nodded to Kasanna in unison and dispersed in an orderly fashion, displaying remarkable discipline.
Only Elsa didn't leave and stayed by Kasanna's side.
Lady Kasanna turned and looked at Aurelian.
"Next, we need to change our mode of transportation."
Aurelion was a little confused, since she had lived in the capital for many years and had never seen any cities outside of it.
The last time I had this feeling was when I went to Endymion with Professor Victor.
That experience brought her a lot of novelty.
This time, the advanced city she saw filled her with curiosity as well.
And it's not as magical as the City of Mages.
This place gives one a sense of order and harmony.
In this mechanical city, even the air felt heavy, tinged with a sense of solemnity.
Suddenly, a car with a magical aura slowly approached them.
At the rear of the car is a rather large magic storage tank.
The concentrated magic, squeezed out of its shell, is then incorporated into it as a power source.
The magic in every part of the car body is controlled by steel and distributed very strictly.
Aurelion was somewhat surprised to see this "carriage" that could move automatically.
The carriage had no wheels; its body seemed to be enchanted, hovering slightly in the air.
The four seats are arranged in pairs, one in front of the other, but no one is driving among them.
"You can think of the new product from the Leiser family as an automatic carriage that doesn't need horses to pull it."
Aurelion blinked, and couldn't help but think of Professor Victor's magical carriage, which also didn't need horses.

Elsa opened the back door first and bowed to signal the two to get into the car.
"Get in the car."
After Kasanna finished speaking, she took a seat in the inner part of the room.
With a mix of trepidation and excitement, Aurelion boarded the strange 'magic carriage'.
Elsa sat in the front, acting as her bodyguard.
The vehicle moved slowly, and because it was floating in the air, the ride was very smooth.
We gradually ventured deeper into the city.
The appearance of this city is also becoming more and more apparent to Aurelion.
Countless towering buildings shimmer with strange colors.
The rotating gears in mid-air continuously combined to form various plaques, as if advertising something.
As the vehicle drove into the city center, as if sensing something, she couldn't help but look up.
