Chapter 18 You dare to show me your health bar, huh?

Lv50!

In the gaming world, there's a saying that's often used to praise top-tier gamers.

If you dare to show your health bar, even if you're a god, I can kill you.

A crimson light flashed in Guleton's eyes, illuminating the horizon.

It started.

Everything around became even more dangerous, the heat rose dramatically, and flames even spontaneously combusted intermittently in mid-air, with heat waves engulfing everything on the volcano.

"This is a natural disaster caused by Guledon! The earth is scorching hot!"

The raven perched on Victor's shoulder, offering a reminder.

Victor knew what had happened, but he still nodded to Vega as a formality.

Ten identical blue magic circles appeared on his ten fingertips, and he moved them slightly.

A blue castle slowly shimmered in mid-air, and waves began to surge from its center, sweeping across the heavens and earth!

"[Third-Tier Magic: Tide Sanctuary!]"

......

Gwen led her knights up the mountain, casually slashing down a monster.

Gwen looked at the fallen monster corpse, which looked like a crab with a scorching rock shell on its back.

Even after it died, the two pincers continued to snip and cut through the air.

A moment later, the outer shell suddenly cracked open, and a red crystal rolled out.

Gwen quickly picked up the glowing red crystal and examined it closely.

She immediately remembered that Victor had mentioned needing these crystals to make magical items, and she was somewhat concerned about it.

"Everyone, if you encounter this kind of monster again, remember to collect these crystals!"

She displayed the red crystal so the knights could remember her appearance.

"yes!"

The knights responded in unison.

After all, Viktor had helped her a lot last night, and she didn't want to owe him a favor, so she thought of helping Viktor collect some props.

A rumbling sound came from the mountaintop and reached the ears of every knight.

Gwen suddenly raised her head and looked at the crater, where a plume of black smoke was slowly rising from the summit.

Suddenly, a terrifying roar came from the mountaintop, echoing throughout the heavens and the earth.

She looked seriously at the mountaintop and asked:

"Did you...did you hear that? That huge roar?"

Gwen wasn't sure either; it just sounded like a roar.

The knights looked at each other and shook their heads.

"Knight Commander, you must have misheard. It's probably just the noise of ash erupting from a volcano."

Gwen shook her head upon hearing his words, disagreeing, and thought to herself:

"Am I the only one who can hear it?"

"What exactly is that thing?"

As Gwen pondered, a sudden inspiration flashed through her mind.

Victor said he was going to the crater.

Did he discover something over there?

"All knights! Proceed to the crater immediately! Find Victor!"

After receiving the order, the knights quickly organized their ranks and marched in unison toward the crater.

But the knights searched the crater thoroughly and found nothing.

The knights told Gwen that it was getting hotter and hotter around her, and that the temperature had reached an abnormally high level.

"Search separately!"

Upon seeing this, Gwen immediately ordered the knights to split into five teams and begin searching for Victor.

After a long time, the knights returned one after another, each one panting and drenched in sweat.

"Knight Commander! We haven't seen a single person from the five squads! The horses can't stand the heat anymore and have to rest on the mountainside."

Gwen, whose forehead was covered in sweat, was also feeling a little dizzy. How could the volcano suddenly become so hot?

"Is this dormant volcano really going to erupt?"

She shook her head; she didn't have the energy to think about it anymore.

Both the horses and the riders were gradually becoming unable to withstand the rising temperatures and had to descend the mountain to rest.

Even though her armor was specially crafted and had a level one anti-inflammatory effect, she was still unbearably hot.

Gwen waved her hand, just about to leave with the knights, when she saw a pillar of fire suddenly spew towards her from the crater.

"Everyone, lie down!"

The knights, upon receiving the order, didn't know why, but they quickly crawled to the ground, and even their horses obediently knelt on the mountainside.

Gwen turned her head away, and the pillar of fire gradually dissipated, leaving sparks that fell to the ground. The astonishing temperature made everyone present feel extremely suffocated, as if their trachea were on fire, making it difficult to breathe.

A volcano? How could it be erupting something like that?

Gwen became increasingly puzzled, but it was too late for her to think any further.

"The volcano is highly likely to erupt. Evacuate the people at the foot of the mountain immediately!"

With a wave of her hand, she gave the order, and the knights hurriedly descended the mountain and headed towards the town.

Gwen watched the increasingly agitated volcano, her heart filled with worry:

"Victor...where have you been!?"
