The guards outside the door quickly stepped forward, crossed their spears, and stopped the white horse from galloping on.
Gwen pulled on the reins, and the horse reared up and neighed.
Gwen, seated on horseback, looked coldly at her two guards:
"I have something to ask Your Highness."
Once the guards recognized Gwen as the newcomer, they quickly pushed aside to allow her to ride in on horseback.
Gwen flicked the reins, squeezed her legs slightly against the horse's rump, and spurred the horse forward at high speed, rushing into the palace gardens.
Once inside, she quickly reined in her horse, dismounted, and rushed into the garden.
She froze the moment she entered the garden.
A familiar figure happened to come into her view.
Emperor Aubrey was sitting leisurely on a bench in the garden, watching Gwen burst in in a panic.
Their eyes met, and Gwen paused for a moment before quickly kneeling down on one knee in front of Aubrey.
"Your Majesty! I have trespassed into the palace. Please forgive me!"
Aubrey chuckled as he looked at Gwen, stroking his beard:
"It doesn't matter."
"Let me guess, you came to Aurelion to ask about something, right?"
Gwen looked up at Emperor Aubrey and nodded with unwavering determination.
Aubrey braced himself on his knees, stood up, and began to stroll in the garden.
As he approached Gwen, Aubrey slightly raised his hand.
A gust of wind, as Aubrey waved his hand, lifted Gwen's body up.
Under this force, Gwen's body stood up uncontrollably:
magic?
No……
She sensed it.
This is simply 'force'.
This was the emperor using the pure power of his palm to fan out a breeze, gently lifting himself up.
Aubrey nodded at Gwen as she stood up, then turned away.
"This isn't a morning meeting in the palace."
"You are the princess's teacher, there is no need for you to kneel."
Gwen stared blankly at Aubrey, then heard the Emperor's voice faintly sound:
"Didn't you already have a guess?"
"Then let's go find him."
Aubrey walked back to the side of the bench, turned around, and gave Gwen a meaningful look:
"As a knight, never doubt yourself."
Upon hearing this, Gwen raised her head again, a hint of realization flashing in her eyes.
"I see."
She turned around again and mounted her horse.
Watching Gwen ride away hastily from the palace on her white horse, the emperor sat back down on his chair.
After a while, Aurelion emerged from the garden, accompanied by her servants.
She held a wreath of flowers in her hands.
"Father!"
Aurelion was delighted and reached out to place the wreath on Auberly's head.
Aubrey looked at her with doting eyes and laughed happily.
Then, Aurelion asked with some confusion:
"Father, was someone just here?"
She saw the flat marks left on the lawn after someone had trampled on it and quickly deduced the reason.
Aubrey nodded and said:
"Yes, your teacher just came by."
Aurelion was filled with curiosity;
"Is that Ms. Gwen?"
"But today isn't her class."
Aubrey smiled:
"Then, tell me."
"Who should be giving you lessons today?"
But the next second, Aurelion froze, frowning, unable to figure it out no matter what she did.
"Father."
"I think I've forgotten someone very important."
Upon hearing this, Aubrey smiled with satisfaction:
"child."
"After you realize this."
"This means that person is irreplaceable in your heart."
Aurelian looked at Aubrey with a somewhat bewildered expression:
"Father, do you remember who that person was?"
"certainly."
Aubrey reached out and patted Aurelian's head.
"No one has been able to make me forget anything yet."
...
In the mirror, the surrounding world was completely silent.
Dust, accompanied by howling hurricanes, swirled across the vast, empty land, spiraling towards the gloomy, black sky.
Various broken weapons were embedded in the ground, all exuding a sense of desolation.
Viktor's expression remained calm, and he appeared composed and at ease.
Not a speck of dust was on the trench coat.
The surrounding area was littered with corpses, their bodies pierced by various weapons, piled up haphazardly.
The Mirror Demon's eyes stared at Victor, trembling incessantly.
"monster……"
"You must be a monster!"
Time had passed indefinitely, and Viktor had slain countless enemies.
Endless.
The Mirror Demon copied out everyone he had encountered over the past few hundred years.
But when they faced Viktor, they were doomed.
No one could even last ten seconds in front of him.
He was a living monster.
At the same time, Viktor lowered his eyes slightly.
Watching his level 45 experience bar about to fill up, he was about to break through to a higher level.
Then, he slowly raised his head, looked at the huge mirror in front of him, and smiled faintly:
"continue?"
"I can play with you all day long."
