Chapter 25 I understand the logic, but why is the crow so big?

At this moment, he was in a state called "magical overload".

Using the magic borrowed from it, Victor fought against Gureton for three days and two nights without any burden.

But that power was ultimately not Viktor's own.

Vega's ability to use magic is not unlimited; there is bound to be a threshold.

Normally, the level of consumption would not even reach the threshold.

But Viktor certainly doesn't fit the description of "normal".

So, at the very last moment after its mana was used up, its link with Viktor was forcibly severed.

But this was still not enough to make Viktor lose consciousness.

Even more heinous, before Gulerton fell into a deep sleep, he stripped a piece of Gulerton's 'magic essence' from his body and forcibly merged it with himself.

That's why it looks like lava is flowing over Viktor's body.

Because his body was absorbing the magical essence of Guledon.

Victor had already used up all his own magic power, and then forcibly accepted an astonishing external source of magic power.

If he doesn't get dizzy, who will?

It's nothing serious, I just need to rest for a few days.

Right now, what interests Vega more is the girl in front of him.

'Interesting, very interesting.....'

'A girl capable of conversing with calamities—perhaps even she herself doesn't realize just how astonishing her value truly is!'

This is a huge profit.

Just as it was feeling happy, it suddenly heard a series of hurried footsteps.

'Someone's here?'

With a smile, Vega looked down at the hillside, and with his amazing eyesight, he spotted a silver figure.

It naturally recognizes who the other party is, but now is not the time to reveal itself.

To avoid getting into trouble for itself and Victor, it flapped its wings and came to Victor's side.

The bird's beak snatched up Victor's collar.

The voice, however, rang in Erica's ears as usual.

“You saved Viktor, and I will let him know that.”

"Little girl, see you next time."

As soon as she finished speaking, Vega's body suddenly began to swell before Erica's eyes, and the pitch-black raven instantly transformed into an astonishing black-feathered giant eagle.

It grabbed Victor by the collar, flapped its wings, and instantly took flight.

A gust of wind swept through, blowing away all the surrounding rubble. Almost instantly, it vanished from Erica's sight.

“Victor…”

The dark figure grew smaller and smaller under the sky, becoming increasingly blurry, until it finally faded from her sight.

Gwen arrived late but missed her target; she was unable to catch Viktor and question him properly as she had hoped.

Instead, he looked extremely grave as he saw the black dot in the sky gradually disappearing.

"Victor? What on earth is going on..."

Then, she noticed Erica.

Erica had many burn marks on her body. She knelt on the ground and tried her best to force a smile.

As if she had used up her last bit of strength, she collapsed unconscious with a thud.

Gwen: "..."

She stepped forward and slowly picked Erica up.

Looking up at the sky again, all that remained was the endless downpour.
