Chapter 261 Warmth

A gigantic magical train, burning with strange magical power, moved forward relentlessly like a steel behemoth.

The shadows of the trees flashed past between the white gaps, their rapid movement seeming to flow continuously forward.

The train sped along the road, the whistling wind and the clanging of mechanical collisions mingling together, sounding like a roar or a howl.

Victor and Henney were traveling together on the train, sitting opposite each other.

Sitting in her seat, Henney was extremely nervous, her hands clenched into fists, tightly gripping her large robe.

She completely ignored even the scenery outside the window.

Traveling alone with the professor...

This was something Hene never even dared to dream of.

Because of this incident, Hene didn't sleep well last night.

Of course, it wasn't actually a trip, but the fact that she could go out with the professor already excited Henne.

She secretly sized up Victor in front of her.

At this moment, the man in the black trench coat was sitting quietly in his seat, holding a book in his hand.

After reading each page, he would turn the page.

Extremely serious.

The crow that had been perched on the professor's shoulder was now standing on the table, dozing off.

Looking at the sleeping crows, Hennie couldn't help but feel sleepy too.

Just as his heavy eyelids were about to close completely, Viktor suddenly spoke:

"Henry, come here."

"Take a look at this."

In a daze, Henny, who was about to fall asleep, was startled and couldn't help but open her eyes.

She watched Victor place the book on the table, feeling somewhat puzzled.

So she stood up and sat down next to Viktor.

Looking at the questions in the book, Viktor asked:

"If you were in that situation, how would you handle it?"

At that moment, Henney was unaware that she was already sitting next to the professor.

She was completely unaware that the two of them were very close.

She was simply filled with curiosity about knowledge, blinking as she looked at the open books, trying to unravel the questions within.

However, the words on the book suddenly began to twist and turn in a strange way.

As if it had come to life, it gradually began to dance on the pages of the book, making it impossible for her to read.

The next second, Heni felt a strong wave of dizziness, and then, uncontrollably, everything went black before her eyes, and she fell into a deep sleep.

In the last moments before she fell into a coma, she seemed to feel herself being embraced in a warm embrace.

Then, he lost consciousness.

She quietly nestled into Victor's arms, gently closing her eyes.

A slightly chubby face was pressed out in Viktor's arms, and warm, even breathing rose and fell.

Her rosy cheeks looked especially lovely in the sunlight.

Victor's other hand hovered over Hennie, pulling a thin blanket and spreading it over her.

Then he simply held Henny in his arms, letting her lie there.

He picked up the book with his other hand and started flipping through it again.

...

After an unknown amount of time, Hennie opened her eyes again.

The scenery outside had completely darkened, and the bright lights inside the train made Henny, who had just opened her eyes, feel a little dazzled.

Hene held her forehead, feeling as if she had inexplicably fallen asleep, and slept for a very, very long time.

She slept soundly and peacefully, as if she were having a very sweet dream.

Feeling a blanket covering her, Heni rolled over and accidentally bumped her face into something.

She looked up and saw Viktor's face.

Um? ? ?

Hene blinked blankly, seemingly still unable to fully process what was happening.

Then, Victor's voice rang out.

"Are you awake?"

Hene woke up instantly, and in a flustered state, she hurriedly forced herself to stand up.

As soon as she stood up, she kept bowing and apologizing to Victor in a flustered manner.

"Yes, yes... I'm sorry, Professor!"

"I accidentally fell asleep, and I even fell asleep on top of you... on top of you."

Viktor didn't say much, just looked at the book in his hand and nodded casually.

Hene stood there, too embarrassed to sit down again.

He could only lower his head, like a child being punished for doing something wrong.

But she was thinking about something else entirely.

Did she drool on the professor while she was asleep? The professor wouldn't mind, would he?

What I just bumped into was the professor's abdomen; it's quite sturdy...

Hehe, the professor's arms are so warm...

Thinking of this, Heni quickly shook her head.

The front of the carriage was very quiet, except for the sound of Victor's fingers tracing the pages of a book.

Even with her head down, Henney could hear Victor put away his book.

She looked up and saw Viktor had stood up.

The crow flapped its wings and flew up, landing on his shoulder.

Viktor walked to the car window, looked outside, and said calmly:

"Get ready."

We'll be there soon.

Hene was a little confused, but she still stepped forward.

She looked at the scenery outside the car window.

Suddenly, her eyes widened.

Because the train had unknowingly started traveling through the air.

The surrounding darkness, dotted with starlight, illuminated the vicinity.

Henney was extremely surprised; she couldn't understand how the train moved through the air.

So she looked down through the car window.

She saw it.

Those were two tracks built of magic, laid out in the air, shimmering with strange starlight in the darkness.
