If Heni's time as a mage really was only three months.
So as long as she's not some heinous villain.
The doors of Parliament will always be open to Henney.
Seeing that Henney had no objections, Heim Horn nodded and turned to Victor, saying:
"let's go."
As he turned around, several phantom figures flashed from his body and gradually surrounded the crowd.
Those faint phantoms gradually obscured the scene before them, and a strange, twitching sensation enveloped their bodies.
call--!
As a hallucinatory sensation flashed by, everyone felt as if the ground beneath their feet was cracking and gradually becoming hollow.
As the haze gradually faded, the phantoms began to recede from the crowd and return to Heim Horn's side.
The ground beneath their feet began to feel incredibly real, and in the blink of an eye, they had arrived before the magic library.
Two enormous white marble doors gradually opened to the sides, and a heavy aura emanated from them, sweeping across everyone's faces.
Victor looked up at the familiar gate.
The Magic Library.
This is a place he has visited more than once.
I still remember those days when I worked day and night to acquire resources and earn money.
All for the sake of learning all the magic in the library.
He was so familiar with the layout of the library that he knew it all too well.
The doors opened, and the four entered the intricate magical library.
The moment you step inside, you are overwhelmed by a chaotic magical power.
Like thousands of vines, they intertwined and entwined in this magical jungle.
Of those present, Henney was the weakest.
She was initially deterred by the chaotic magic and closed her eyes before entering the room.
Only then did she feel the awe emanating from within the library.
The magical library's pathways were a complex and intricate network, with both upper and lower levels filled with heavy books. Exquisite bookshelves were arranged systematically throughout the library.
It was as if two worlds had been completely reversed, leaving one dazzled.
Herni's eyes lit up.
"This...this is unbelievable!"
She finally lost her composure and cried out in surprise.
This place seems to be a world called "knowledge".
Heim Horn, seeing Henney's appearance, said:
"You can freely view any content in the library."
He paused for a moment at this point:
"However, you should be careful not to be misled by overly advanced knowledge."
A mage cannot force themselves to accept magic that is clearly beyond their comprehension.
For example, a second-tier mage should absolutely not force themselves to learn fourth-tier magic.
"This magical knowledge will remain here. As long as you become a member of the Mage Council, you can come here to refer to and learn from it at any time."
"So now, let's do something serious."
Heim Horn continued speaking as he led the way:
"That's why we need to conduct a moral trial and judgment on those who join the parliament."
"It is because of the rules that were established at the very beginning of Endymion."
"That is to say—"
As soon as he finished speaking, the staircases surrounding the magic library began to rotate, stretching into the sky in a twisted, spiraling shape.
On that mysterious spiral staircase, a door appeared out of nowhere.
The next second, everyone appeared in a new room.
The room was incredibly spacious, with the white walls standing out brightly against the surroundings.
In the entire room, there was only one golden scale, placed on the table.
As a former member of parliament, Cocotte was already used to it.
I lay on the cloud, looking at the scales in the very center.
"The scales of justice."
Heim Horn's voice rang out again.
Hene, standing to the side, stared wide-eyed at the golden scales in front of her.
Heim Horn seemed quite pleased with Hennie's performance, and he nodded with a smile.
"Of course, this is just a replica."
The genuine article has long since disappeared.
If the genuine article were to appear in the world, it would likely cause a major problem.
Heim Horn turned to look at Henney and said encouragingly:
"Miss Hene, please try using it."
To join the Mage Council, one must pass this test to assess each person's morality.
Evaluation is necessary.
Except for Victor.
Heim Horn wouldn't dare test Victor's morality.
Hene glanced back at Victor, seemingly a little uneasy.
However, it was only after seeing Victor nod that Henney mustered up her courage.
Hene stepped forward, reached out, and stroked the golden scales.
The balance scales began to tremble the moment they were touched by Henney, and the two trays on either side began to sway.
The dagger on the right lay quietly on the tray, while a cluster of illusory feathers made of Heni's magic appeared on the left.
When the feathers have completely fallen.
The entire Libra scale remained completely still.
There wasn't even the slightest movement of it tilting to the side.
This completely shocked Haim Horn.
He opened his mouth, rubbed his eyes, and seemed completely unable to believe what he was seeing.
What's going on?
Is the balance so stable?
Is there still such a pure and kind heart in the world?
This is exactly the kind of ethical standard that Parliament needs most.
Vega stood on Victor's shoulders, watching all of this, and felt it made perfect sense.
After all, she was a pure-hearted succubus whose mind was only focused on studying and Victor.
Heim Horn immediately became excited, and his illusory body trembled slightly:
"Miss Henney, congratulations, you have passed the test."
"You can join the Mage Council at any time, right now."
Hearing Heim's evaluation, Hene felt a little embarrassed, bowed slightly to Heim, and said, "Thank you."
Henney was very obedient; when they were in public, she would never embarrass the professor.
Suddenly, as if struck by a thought, she turned to look at Victor not far away and blurted out a sentence that shocked everyone:
"professor."
"Would you like to try it too?"
(I'm numb, I lost my draft and am rewriting the next chapter...)
