Chapter 335 How about I go up and fight you?

Upon hearing Princess Aurelion's identity, Hilda immediately dropped her radiant smile.

His expression was solemn, and he bowed slightly, giving Aurelion a warrior's salute.

The kingdom reveres the strong, and the people of the kingdom know most about the neighboring empire, namely its invincible emperor.

And now, as the emperor's daughter, this princess is naturally treated with the same respect.

Aurelion was slightly surprised by Hilda's sudden action, then nodded, calmed herself, and said composedly:

"Hello."

Hilda regained her composure, and then solemnly continued speaking to the king:

"Today is the day the academy assesses the students' strength. Most of the fifth and sixth grade students will gather here in the training ground to compete and be scored."

Every two weeks, Star Academy conducts regular combat ability assessments.

This is used to rank the students' abilities.

Students are required to undergo assessments during the assessment period, with each assessment lasting three days.

It started with the first and second graders, then three days later it was the third and fourth graders, and finally, the fifth and sixth graders were assessed.

The entire academy strictly adheres to a six-year training system.

The king listened to Hilda's explanation, raising an eyebrow slightly:

"So an evaluation is in progress?"

"It seems I've arrived just in time."

The king looked around, his gaze finally settling on Victor and Aurelion, and said,

"Everyone, would you like to go and observe the academy's assessment?"

"Perhaps we will see some interesting students."

...

The black steel circular arena stands majestically in the center, its spectacular walls almost entirely made of marble, a testament to impeccable craftsmanship.

The marble surface was secured by a thick layer of steel ring armor, with steel barbs resembling the sharp teeth of a giant beast encircling the entire arena.

The audience seating descends layer by layer from the outer edge of the arena until the last layer is completely level with the ring.

Dust billowed across the vast arena, and a large red "口" character was painted in the center of the solid marble floor.

The instructors who were judging were already seated on the judging panel, with a circular metal table in front of them and thick report cards neatly arranged.

The audience was filled with boys and girls in school uniforms, huddled together, but their eyes were filled with an intensely burning light.

It seemed as if they all wanted to show off their skills on this arena.

The younger students eagerly peeked out, looking forward to seeing the older students' charm.

The anxious students quieted down without being prompted, each holding their breath, afraid of making the slightest noise to disturb the two people on the stage.

Two students in school uniforms stood in the center of the ring, their swords swaying gently in the wind.

The male student was burly and carried a giant sword on his back.

But he seemed a little nervous, his eyes darting around.

It seemed that after meeting the girl in front of him, even his last bit of confidence in winning was shattered.

The female student opposite him appeared calm and composed, with a firm gaze and a steady hand holding the sword.

Her long, dark gray hair flowed freely, her breathing was even, and her posture was dignified, like that of a noble knight.

"Battle begins!"

At the instructor's command, the longswords clashed together, the sound echoing throughout the arena.

Upon receiving the command, the two moved around the edge of the arena like two cheetahs.

Soon, the male student launched an attack, his steps unpredictable, quickly approaching his opponent across the ring.

call--

A phantom flashed by, and the male student instantly appeared in front of the female student, swinging his arms backward, exposing his entire chest.

The enormous silver blade tore through the air, and the powerful gust of air made the female student calmly aware of the danger.

She quickly lowered her body to avoid the swirling airflow, and slid slightly backward to dodge the massive sword blade that was slashing down.

The sword blade struck the ground of the arena, creating a huge shockwave.

Until the shockwave dissipated, the person in front of them had vanished without a trace.

The male student panicked and frantically tried to find the female student's location.

He felt a cold sensation on the back of his neck and quickly turned around to defend himself, holding his longsword horizontally in front of him.

But the next second, the female student's attack suddenly changed course.

The sword tip instantly changed direction, rising up to strike the opponent's sword.

With a slight exertion and a clever touch, the sword trembled upwards.

He swiftly knocked the male student's enormous longsword away.

clang--

With a bang, the giant sword pierced the edge of the arena.

The male student, however, plopped down on the ring, completely unarmed.

He braced his elbows against the arena floor, watching his opponent's sword pressed against his face, remaining motionless.

The female student sheathed her sword and gracefully left the arena.

The entire process took only five seconds.

The instructors nodded to each other, picked up their brushes, and wrote down their scores in the record book:

"Joanna, one more point."

The students below the stage were amazed by the battle unfolding before them.

The chattering of voices echoed through the crowd.

"I'm afraid Joanna will be number one in this evaluation again, right?"

"She's only in fifth grade, and even sixth graders aren't a match for her."

"No wonder she's Instructor Hilda's younger sister... her talent is too strong."

The students in the audience were talking animatedly, and although it was noisy, each person's voice sounded very faint.

The reason is simple.

At the very front of the audience, a group of noble lords were seated.
