Immediately afterwards, a hazy yet resolute nebula magic arose where the stars had fallen.
Soon, accompanied by those heavy nebulae.
One by one, burly Nebula Knights, clad in steel armor, struggled to crawl out of the sand.
Their faces were filled with endless starry skies, and the cold blades they held were like winter frost, with the hazy starry sky reflected on the blades.
Aurelion and the others were utterly astonished by the appearance of these Nebula Knights.
In an instant, the battle situation changed rapidly, and the scales tipped in favor of General Meteor.
Knights enveloped in nebulae charged toward the undead soldiers, brandishing their dreamlike longswords.
The undead soldiers would be easily shattered by their mere touch.
For a fleeting moment, a ghostly green flame ignited on their starry faces, but quickly vanished without a trace.
The long blades of the undead soldiers slashed at the knights, but they couldn't even break through their defenses.
Only the summoned death row inmates were able to barely keep up with the knights.
They left marks of battle on each other's bodies.
The undead leader swung his blade, viciously stabbing into the faces of the Star Knights.
Flames scatter, the starry sky reverses.
The necromancers were as busy as endless machines, the flames from their human-skin spellbooks never ceasing.
The dragons in the sky died and were reborn repeatedly, constantly spewing flames.
At that moment, General Meteor's gaze suddenly fell on Victor.
He realized it.
As long as the necromancer who is in charge does not die, this group of dead souls will never dissipate.
Viktor felt that gaze, slowly raised his head, and met Saint Garly's eyes.
At that moment, he saw the ultimate fighting spirit in the starry eyes of the Meteor General.
Feeling a surge of flames rising within his body, Victor offered Aurelion his final words of advice.
"Aurelian".
Aurelion, who had been watching intently, suddenly paused upon hearing Victor's voice.
Then Viktor calmly said:
“If I disappear, these death row inmates will get out of control.”
"They may escape, or they may be reburied in the yellow earth, disappearing along with the souls of the dead."
Upon hearing this, Aurelion frowned, a cloud of doubt swirling in her mind.
Teacher Viktor, why are you suddenly saying this?
An ominous premonition rose in her heart.
But Victor's next words confirmed her sixth sense:
"Next, I want you to take control of them."
Viktor's calm command made Aurelion's eyes widen as if she had heard something utterly unbelievable.
He opened his mouth, about to say something.
"Teacher, I..."
Suddenly, Saint Galilee slowly raised a battle axe, pointing it directly at Victor.
Behind him, a black hole churned, and endless darkness rose from the distance.
The enormous fortress, gleaming with blue-purple walls, stood at the center of the black hole, like an isolated island in the deep universe.
A powerful and terrifying purple aura pierced through the void, causing hearts to tremble even before it arrived.
In just a moment, the chains, like binding chains, wrapped around Viktor's body.
Feeling the restraint on his shoulder, Vega opened his deep, single eye.
"Victor, do you need me to come with you?"
"Need not."
Viktor left behind a single, understated sentence.
Vega is always his last resort to ensure everything; as long as he's outside, everyone's safety is guaranteed.
The expanding black hole rapidly approached Viktor.
Seeing the black hole approaching, Vega flapped his wings off Victor's shoulder, severing his contact with Victor.
The moment it departed, the endless, deep, and pitch-black black hole engulfed Victor.
As the terrifying and mysterious black hole disappeared, everyone present held their breath.
The enormous Saint Galilee and Victor vanished from the spot.
Only the enormous fortress that had been floating in the air remained, emerging between the black holes before crashing to the ground.
Aurelion's body stiffened, her face filled with shock.
Karin's jaw dropped to the ground once more, and a voice came from the empty mouth:
"Victor, he... he's disappeared!?"
In an instant, the eerie green flames on the ground suddenly dissipated.
Countless withered bones and departed souls turned into wispy dust.
The dragon in the sky fell back to earth, turning into endless shattered bones that dissipated into the air.
And at the moment when the bodies of that undead mercenary were gradually dissipating.
A group of necromancers flipping through spellbooks stirred up a burst of eerie green magic, which sustained their shaky bodies.
A few undead looked at Aurelion and the others with eyes burning like will-o'-the-wisps.
It seemed to be approaching with some kind of danger.
Karin was so frightened that she burrowed into the sand, not even bothering to look for her chin.
The next second, the Star Knights, still existing on the earth, pulled the Nebula from their chests and wrapped it around their silver longswords.
The knight swung his star-like arm and threw his lance toward the sky.
The nebula flowed through the sky like a hazy river, piercing through space and about to touch Aurelion.
Aurelion was still reeling from Viktor's sudden disappearance and hadn't quite come to her senses yet.
clang!
In an instant, a fleshy wing appeared in front of Aurelion, blocking the spear.
There wasn't even a single scratch on its flesh and wings.
Aurelion finally realized what was happening, but at that moment, the death row inmates who had turned into ghosts rushed towards them.
