"Dean."
Upon hearing Viktor's voice, the dean closed his pen and rubbed his eyes.
"Come in."
Victor entered as instructed, and the giant lava hand behind him threw Devon, whom he was carrying, onto the floor.
The dean shook his head when he saw Devon's appearance and sighed to Victor.
“Professor Victor, the Academy will not condone your actions.”
Victor, hands in his pockets, spoke in a completely emotionless tone;
"It's alright, I don't need the academy's protection."
"I will take responsibility for my own actions."
The dean nodded, slowly stood up, and leaned on his obsidian cane.
"Then, please follow me."
Dean Rachel conjured magical energy out of thin air, and a blue light began to dance in his hand like a paintbrush.
The air in front of him seemed to be his painting, and began to distort at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Soon, the dean withdrew his magic.
Vega whispered in Victor's ear:
"This old man's magic is really interesting."
"Let me see, a special kind of teleportation magic. Focus on this spot and insert magical runes here."
Viktor followed Vega's instructions, and the air in front of him seemed to distort.
In an instant, Viktor felt the scenery around him gradually blurring, and blue light began to fall.
When the surrounding scenery became clear again, it looked completely different.
Here, petals of various colors fluttered in the air, creating countless waves.
The garden is a floating island, and the ground on the island is covered with countless flower petals.
The refreshing aroma wafted over, calming Victor's discontent somewhat.
"There's actually a hidden dimension here that I didn't even notice."
Vega exclaimed in surprise beside Viktor, but Viktor showed no surprise whatsoever.
It was as if they already knew.
That's right, this is the hidden map known among players as the Dean's Backyard.
Only those who have learned magic from Dean Rachel can freely enter and exit.
'Although I've seen it many times in games, experiencing it in person is still amazing.'
Viktor thought to himself that the scene here was no different from the one in the game.
The dean appeared in front of him a few seconds before him, and looked at Viktor with some admiration when he saw him.
He could figure out how the magic circle worked and crack it at a glance; no wonder he's called a genius mage.
"Welcome to my ocean of knowledge, Professor Victor. You are the youngest guest I have ever received."
The Dean's Back Garden, this hidden map is called: [Rachel's Sea of Knowledge].
This place contains all of Dean Rachel's magical knowledge; only those who truly possess knowledge can enter.
Fortunately, Viktor had a learned god like Vega by his side.
However, now is not the time for chatting.
He said it directly.
"Dean, let's get down to business."
The dean didn't say anything, but silently walked towards an open space, leaning on his cane.
Viktor followed, and soon the surrounding scenery changed rapidly.
The two hadn't walked more than a few steps when a wooden house appeared in front of them.
The surrounding area is dense forest, like a cabin hidden in the woods.
The dean walked to the door, and the wooden cabin opened automatically.
He turned his head and nodded to Viktor.
"Please come in, Professor Victor."
Viktor followed the dean into the cabin. There was only one table in the cabin, with a watermelon on it.
There was nothing else.
The dean picked up his cane and tapped the watermelon on the head.
The watermelon slowly turned around, its two eyes deep and unfathomable, as if it possessed a wisdom that knew everything about the past and present.
It opened its thick lips and slowly said:
"Azure, is something the matter?"
Looking at this talking watermelon, Wei Jia felt a chill run down his spine.
Even a few of the hairs stood on end.
This thing makes it feel uncomfortable.
It glanced up at Viktor and found that Viktor still did not show any surprise.
He seemed to know everything in advance, even that there was a talking watermelon hidden here.
'That's strange.'
It was thinking to itself.
Viktor was not surprised.
Because this is the dean's talking watermelon pet.
The dean looked at the watermelon and said, "This young friend has some questions for you."
Watermelon stared at Viktor reluctantly.
Vega whispered in his ear, "What's wrong with this guy?"
Victor remained silent; he knew the watermelon was watching his experience.
Just as he had imagined, various images flashed through Xigua's eyes.
Towering flames, billowing dust, lava covering the ground, and a torrent of immense magic.
A scene of utter devastation.
It saw that Viktor was covered in a dense fire element, with lava-like patterns covering half of his upper body, making him look like a fire demon.
After a moment, Watermelon refocused his gaze on Victor:
"Young people these days are truly remarkable."
“I know what you want to ask, the Azure Natural Bird will tell us.”
Soon, ripples of magical energy spread outwards from it.
The 'natural sparrows' from the other dimension began to move.
An immersive scene unfolded before Viktor:
What is presented before me is exactly what happened yesterday.
