Chapter 4 How could you lay a hand on a minor girl!

Gwen walked in surrounded by servants, and Victor very gentlemanly extended his hand to invite her into the meeting room.

He and Gwen walked side by side. Along the way, Gwen glanced at Viktor and caught a glimpse of the one-eyed, jet-black raven perched on Viktor's shoulder.

After the two entered the conference room, Victor gave a wink to the servants beside him, who then discreetly left.

After the meeting room door closed, Gwen and Victor took their seats.

Gwen asked coldly, "Have you received the academy's invitation?"

Victor tapped the table with his fingers and said, "Received."

After I answered, the air in the room suddenly turned cold.

At this moment, Victor had absolutely no idea what the woman in front of him really thought about "himself".

Although the two were engaged, it was Gwen who ultimately killed Viktor with her own hands. Viktor felt that Gwen had no feelings for him at all.

But Gwen helped him again.

The professorship invitation extended to him by the academy was naturally also due to the nomination made by the Delin family.

The more Victor thought about it, the more confused he became.

In short, if he can improve his relationship with Gwen, he might be able to avoid a fatal ending.

With a wave of his hand, Victor conjured five bottles of crimson life potions on the table and placed them in front of Gwen.

Please accept these.

Gwen merely glanced at it, showing no intention of accepting it.

Viktor sighed as he looked at her proud expression and continued:

"This is a thank you gift for your help. I heard from Lia that I don't want to owe you any favors."

He looked into Gwen's eyes with his dark, inky eyes.

Gwen turned her head away, bit her lip, hesitated for a moment, and asked:

Did you confess your feelings to the Duke's daughter yesterday?

Viktor remained silent; whether he had done that thing yesterday... he himself didn't know.

That was what yesterday's "Victor" did; it's worlds apart from today's Victor.

Seeing that he remained silent, Gwen truly believed he had done such a thing. Her cheeks flushed red, and she scolded:

"Victor! How could you do such a thing? The Duke's daughter is only seventeen! How could you lay a hand on a minor!"

Victor: ...

Now it seems everyone knows he failed in his attempt to harass a minor.

Gwen is an extremely righteous knight, and naturally she cannot stand such harassment of underage girls.

If this matter is not handled properly, it could very well be the fuse that causes Viktor and Gwen to completely break up in the future, so he must deal with it carefully.

Viktor felt a heavy weight in his heart and said to her, "I hope you understand that I don't like that eldest daughter of the duke's family."

Gwen glared at him and continued, "This matter is already common knowledge."

Looking into her eyes, which revealed anger and helplessness, Viktor replied heavily, "I will handle this matter well and will not let public opinion continue to entangle us."

Viktor knew very well that if this matter were to escalate like this, not only would his Clavner family be disgraced, but the Delin family, to which he was betrothed, would also be stigmatized.

The Delin family's help to him was also a way of helping themselves.

Gwen opened her mouth, but couldn't utter a single word. She looked at Viktor, sensing that he had changed, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what it was.

Gwen stood up, accepted the medicine bottle, and turned to leave. As she opened the door, she said to Victor, "If you have any difficulties, come to me and I will help you."

Having said that, he pushed open the door and left.

Victor breathed a sigh of relief.

Seeing his expression, Vega couldn't help but yell in his ear, "Who is this guy?"

"My fiancée."

Viktor shrugged, somewhat helplessly.

The one-eyed crow looked at him with pity, stroking its feathers with its beak: "She's very sensitive, and her eyes are terrifying, as if she can see right through me. Luckily, I'm just an ordinary crow."

Viktor was speechless.

"The one-eyed raven is anything but ordinary."

...

The next day arrived in the blink of an eye, and Viktor arrived at the academy as promised.

As its name suggests, the Royal Magic Academy is a place where only the sons and daughters of the wealthy and powerful study.

There is also a special group of people who possess superior magical talent and can study magic here without paying tuition.

The tuition fees weren't waived for nothing; in return, these geniuses would naturally have to work for the royal family in the future.

Looking at the magnificent magic academy, Victor thought of scenes from the game:

He remembered that there was a huge library here, used by mage players to learn magic of various levels.

Viktor plans to go there to learn something.

He urgently needs some very powerful skills to support his magical abilities. Although Victor's own magic is already sufficient, as a player, the quantity of magic he possesses will naturally provide him with more security.

The contract was delivered to Victor yesterday; he is now a senior professor at the Royal Academy of Magic.

When he first arrived at the academy, he took the initiative to meet with the dean. After a brief greeting, the dean asked him to attend the best class in the entire academy to prove his abilities.

After leaving the dean's office, he arrived at the mage tower based on his memories.

The Mage Tower, also known as the Trial Tower, is where players can take on one trial per day. Successfully completing the trial will grant a large amount of experience points.

The tower was magnificent, soaring into the sky. Its walls were covered with all sorts of magical arrays, and looking further up, the misty ripples obscured one's vision, as if they contained some kind of mystery.
