The two walked along the cobblestone path, deeper into the manor.
The surrounding area is full of lush pine trees, swaying in the breeze.
The rustling sound, like a poet's whispered verses, echoed in the air, gently brushing past their ears.
Lia followed behind Viktor, lightly brushing the lush green vegetation on both sides of the road as she reported to him:
"The batch of weapons we mass-produced at our Braxton Armory, after being tested with the help of Congressman Ryan Kent, are now ready for use."
As she spoke, the servants on either side saw Victor and their eyes widened slightly in surprise.
They hurriedly bowed respectfully to the head of the household, who hadn't returned for a long time.
"Master of the family."
Viktor walked past them indifferently, without reacting.
Lia waved casually at them.
Then, she continued speaking to Victor:
"The elves' training has passed the initial stage, and we are having them intern at our shops and engineering projects in Braxton."
Elves are different from demi-humans. Although most humans look down on demi-humans, their attitude towards elves is completely opposite.
After all, this mysterious race basically only exists in legends, and is extremely magical to ordinary people.
If you are lucky enough to meet an elf, that's something you can brag about for a lifetime.
Lia's strategy was to have these elves, who came from the Elf Forest to human society, participate in the service industry.
This will allow them to quickly learn about human society and adapt to the empire's pace of life.
After learning human service methods and becoming qualified employees, the elves are able to work officially in Braxton's shop.
For most ordinary customers, receiving services from elves would feel an extremely magical experience.
This not only improves the customer service experience, but also reduces the number of disturbances in the store.
After all, many people have heard from storybooks since childhood that one should not anger elves.
Otherwise, it will bring natural disasters.
Viktor listened to Lia's report as he walked out of the small gate of the mansion.
The two servants at the door opened the door for them and bowed in unison to the two men.
"Master, Miss Liya."
Viktor remained unresponsive, staring ahead as he walked on by himself.
Lia followed behind him, continuing to wave to the servants.
The two servants then straightened up and looked at each other.
Then, Lia followed behind Victor and continued to report to him:
"The matter of establishing diplomatic relations between the Elf Forest and the Empire, which I mentioned before, can now be put on the agenda."
This matter has been in preparation for a very long time, and it has been handled entirely by the Elf Forest on its own.
The goods for trade with the Empire were prepared and ready within a few months.
Those elves, accustomed to freedom, must learn the etiquette of the Empire.
We can't let the people of the Empire recognize the noble and mysterious elves in their hearts at a glance.
Actually, they were probably a group of beautiful savages who didn't wear pants and were naked from the waist down.
This is something we absolutely cannot neglect; otherwise, it would be a slap in the face for the elves themselves.
However, once everything was ready, the elven high priestess Vinya prepared to bring gifts to formally establish diplomatic relations.
Finally, she realized a problem: the Elf Forest needed a queen to confront Aubrey directly.
They originally had a queen, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
But in the end, something unexpected happened.
"Kokote suddenly hid! She hid!!!"
When they entered the garden, Lia's voice suddenly rose several notches.
The noise was so loud that even the birds chirping on the branches were startled and scattered.
The maid, who was concentrating on watering the plants, involuntarily put down the watering can when she heard the sudden shout.
He turned to Lia and Victor and bowed respectfully to them.
"Master, you're back."
Viktor still didn't react, and neither did Lydia.
The maid looked at the two of them, and seeing that there was nothing more for her to do here, she tiptoed away quietly.
Some time passed, and Leah still didn't hear any response from Victor.
The pent-up emotions suddenly erupted, and he shouted at Viktor from behind:
"You! Are you even listening to me?!"
Victor snapped out of his daze and turned to look at Leah:
"I see."
Vega, perched on his shoulder, kept sending him messages, saying that there was a very foul smell around.
The closer you get to the center of the garden, the stronger the scent becomes.
As a result, Victor ignored Lia's words.
Viktor pondered for a moment, realizing there was only one possibility that could make Vega smell such a foul stench.
However, he wants to go and see for himself if that's true.
"We should go and take a look first."
Seeing Viktor say that, Lia's anger subsided a little.
Viktor stepped deeper into the garden, his footsteps treading on the falling, colorful petals.
The deeper you go into the garden, the more eerie the atmosphere becomes.
It should have been a place of blooming flowers of all colors, sun-drenched green lawns, and fresh air filled with birdsong and the fragrance of flowers.
But now it is completely buried by lush green leaves and twisted thorns.
The surrounding vegetation was extremely lush, as if it had completely broken free from the constraints of nature and was growing wildly.
Thorns were everywhere, their sharp thorns blocking the way for visitors.
