Chapter 404 Not Found

The sun rose as usual, and the morning light filtered through the dense forest, dappling the blue brick road.

Two slender steeds, draped in silk adorned with sparkling diamonds, gradually approached from the end of the road.

Golden reins extended from their necks to the rear, connecting to an intricately carved, dark gold carriage.

The ferry traversed the cobblestone pavement until it reached the gates of the Clevner mansion.

The patterns on the dark gold carriage are dynamic and orderly, converging at the center of the carriage and connecting to a gleaming gilded emblem.

That's the symbol of the Cassidra Chamber of Commerce.

The guards riding the horses pulled on the golden reins, bringing the two strong white steeds to a halt.

The rising sun shone on the horse's feathers, reflecting a dazzling light, like the radiant dawn.

The guard who was leading the horse dismounted, quickly opened the carriage door, and leaned forward slightly to greet his master with utmost respect.

The woman inside the carriage lifted the curtain and slowly stepped down.

As soon as she got out of the car, she casually glanced around at the surrounding mansion walls.

"Is this Congressman Clavner's home?"

"Yes, Miss Zola."

The guard responded, bowing even more respectfully.

Zola looked at the Clavina mansion and pondered silently for a while.

It turns out that Senator Clavner likes this style of house. Should we give him two more?

Just as Zola was lost in thought, a maid at the mansion gate stepped forward and bowed to her.

"You must be Ms. Zola Nandner. Please come in. The head of the family and the others have been waiting for a long time."

Zola responded politely with a sweet smile to the maid's words.

It seems that Mr. Victor attaches great importance to the deal with the Cassidra Chamber of Commerce.

They even notified the maid in the house to let them go.

Zola gave a wink to the guard behind him, who immediately nodded in understanding.

He turned around and took out an exquisite gift box from behind the carriage, placing it in the maid's hands:

"Please accept this small gift."

"They're just some worthless little trinkets."

The maid was slightly taken aback when she saw the gift box being handed to her, and then looked down at it.

Such an exquisite gift box must contain something very expensive.

Before she could react and refuse,

Then they saw Zola swinging her long, fair legs as she walked into the courtyard of the mansion.

She walked halfway, then, as if sensing something, turned around and looked back.

The maid was still staring blankly at the gift box that had been forced into her hands.

So she smiled slightly and took the initiative to speak:

"Please lead the way."

...

The conference hall in the courtyard was unusually quiet, with the morning sunlight streaming through the towering glass windows and illuminating the entire hall.

The vintage carpet was spotless, kept by the maid, and sunlight streamed onto the flowers, plants, and beautiful furniture, making everything look vibrant and fresh.

On a long mahogany tea table, several cups of steaming tea exuded the unique fragrance of ancient tea.

Zola sat on the sofa, enjoying the soft comfort beneath her, and began to ponder inwardly:

Congressman Clavner shouldn't be going to such lengths to entertain me.

Therefore, there is only one possibility.

Mr. Clevner must have a very thoughtful lady in his household.

Thinking back to when they were in the kingdom, Victor suddenly told her that he already had a fiancée...

So, Senator Clavner and his fiancée have become this intimate?

They even started living together before they got married.

While Zola was still in surprise, Lia walked down from the second floor step by step.

She looked down and saw the woman, who looked exceptionally elegant yet unfamiliar, being seated on the sofa by the maid.

Instantly, her eyes crinkled and her lips turned up, unable to hide her joy.

Oh ho, the money-giving party is here.

She had heard all about it; this woman was the daughter of the president of the Cassidra Chamber of Commerce.

Her poise and politeness were like a glittering mountain of gold in front of Lia.

They are waiting for her to come and take whatever she wants.

For someone who loves money, it was simply the best "friend".

"Are you Miss Zola?"

Zola heard the sound coming from the stairs, looked up and saw Lia coming down. He quickly stood up and bowed respectfully to Lia.

"Hello, I am Zola Nandner."

As she introduced herself, she kept her eyes fixed on Liya as she approached.

Upon seeing the young, beautiful, and elegant Lia, Zola's eyes lit up slightly.

She looked to be close to Mr. Victor's age, and her temperament matched his well.

Such a beautiful and uniquely elegant woman must be Congressman Victor's fiancée.

However, she wanted to confirm it, but didn't want to ask directly.

So she changed to a more tactful way of asking:

"You must be the lady of the Clavina family."

When Lia walked up to Zola, she was slightly taken aback by the question.

Although everyone in the Clavenna family treated her as the lady of the house, and Lia always considered herself to be in that role.

But this was truly the first time she had ever heard someone address her so publicly.

However, after thinking it over, Lia realized it made perfect sense, so she smiled and said to Zola:

"Yes, I am the mistress of this place, Lia."

"If there's anything you need, you can tell me directly."
