Victor carried Coco in his arms as they walked through the backyard of the mansion.
The once vast grasslands stretched as far as the eye could see, now only lush grass and a solitary, towering tree bathed in sunlight.
But now, houses of all shapes and sizes have sprung up on this meadow.
A tall, winding wooden tower; wooden houses shaped like birds...
The shapes were entirely up to the elves; they could build anything they liked on this grassland.
The wooden house had a wide, upturned corner, and several elves lay on the roof, praying towards the distant, towering sacred tree that seemed to reach into the clouds.
The elves lived freely on the meadow, chatting, playing, and sleeping...
Here, they are as free as if they were in an elf forest.
The elves have been living here for a short time.
Every elf who lives here is an employee of the Clavner family.
Victor did not disturb the elves' daily lives. He quietly passed through the strangely shaped buildings and headed towards the Tree of Adrien.
The morning sunlight filtered through the incredibly lush foliage, scattering sparsely and illuminating Victor's black trench coat.
A deep sheen flowed between the layers of his trench coat, and half of Victor's face was also covered by the scattered sunlight.
Meanwhile, Cocoy, nestled in his arms, slept soundly in the sunlight.
Viktor looked up and saw that the towering Tree of Ad was several times more robust than before.
But it's still far from what it looked like in the Elf Forest.
After all, that place is nourished by the entire Elven race.
The lines on the broad trunk are crooked and twisted, and the dark brown bark is slightly stretched.
The gnarled tree roots stretched into the soil, turning over layer upon layer of earth.
It stands alone and sacred, like a small hill.
Viktor, carrying Kokot, gradually approached the sacred tree, a natural magic of emerald green flowing through his eyes.
The next second, the surrounding air began to tremble rhythmically.
And the source of all this was the trembling of the divine tree.
The commotion caused all the elves to stop what they were doing and playing, and they all turned their gazes toward the trembling tree.
Dark bark peeled off the trunk, but it hung in the air and began to rotate around a gap in the sacred tree.
A ball of emerald green light flowed through the center of the gap. Victor, holding Kokot, rose towards the center of the divine tree and gradually merged into the flowing green light.
Buzz—
A low, resonant sound echoed around the sacred tree as the elves stared intently at the spot where Victor had vanished.
The brown bark in the air began to swirl and reverberate, gathering again at the gap in the sacred tree.
The surrounding air gradually calmed down, returning to its usual tranquility.
When the elves came to their senses, they only saw the towering branches of the Tree of Adri swaying slowly in the rising wind.
The dense branches rustled softly.
Everything returned to silence.
...
After passing through a vibrant green expanse, walls covered in tangled vines and tree roots stood all around.
At the center of the divine tree, a natural magical energy trembled slightly, as if breathing.
That is the heart of the Tree of Adriatic.
After my heart started pounding, I felt a force drawing ever closer.
Inside this enclosed space, a dark, low-hanging cloud suddenly rose in the sky.
The clouds sparked with flashes of lightning, and the atmosphere in the space began to grow heavy.
The damp air filled Viktor's nostrils, and the image of flashing lightning was reflected in his eyes.
More importantly, a gigantic thunder dragon covered in white scales revealed itself.
Victor looked at the heart that had transformed into a giant dragon and nodded slightly:
"It seems you've been doing well lately."
As soon as he finished speaking, Viktor flipped his palm, and a spherical object with a flowing, dark, hazy appearance appeared in his hand.
[The Chaos Dragon King's genes: Mysterious genes containing the power of ancient dragons, perhaps capable of combining with ancient dragons.]
Vega, who had been perched on his shoulder, looked at the spherical object flowing in Victor's hand, perhaps thinking of what had happened last time.
He couldn't help but complain to Viktor:
"Are you planning to turn this guy into a monster?"
Victor looked at the Chaos Dragon King's genes in his hand and slowly spoke:
"It's just an experiment; it might wake Kokot up."
Victor raised his arm and sent out the dark sphere in his palm.
The gene gradually rose into the sky, sank into the gloomy haze, and disappeared.
The Storm Dragon King swallowed the dark sphere, and the next second, a dark purple starlight flashed from its abdomen.
The body, covered in pale scales, began to tremble, each scale shaking rapidly as if ice crystals were colliding.
A dark purple aura emanated from his abdomen, invading the Storm Dragon King's massive body.
In the blink of an eye, dark ripples slowly flowed across the dragon's pale body.
The ice crystal scales that had been touched and stained by the ripples temporarily turned dark purple.
They collided with each other, emitting subtle, low-pitched infrasound waves that echoed rapidly in this enclosed space.
Two pairs of dark wings suddenly sprouted from the massive serpent's body, their veins clearly visible and flowing in a sinister light.
The mane where the dragon's head and body met still shimmered with the light of thunder.
Sharp, massive horns also grew from the dragon's head, curving upwards into the sky like a dark, distorted crescent moon.
