She slowly came to her senses.
Those green snake eyes straightened up, staring at the muscular body in front of them.
"You still haven't managed to notice me."
A deep, resonant voice rang out, and a gigantic bear-man appeared before Sephiroth, his majestic eyes fixed on her.
Saphiro's usually impassive face finally showed a hint of seriousness, as if she had sensed impending danger.
The heavy aura even made her feel a tremor in her heart.
In Saphiros's mind, there was no such thing as a master or teacher.
She would only consider the bear-man in front of her as her enemy.
Because the bear-men will continue to fight her until she fully matures.
She even meticulously recorded the number of times the two sides fought.
[99 matches - 99 losses, 0 wins]
In nearly a hundred battles, she never won a single one.
Even though she used all her strength, employing power that could almost tear her flesh apart, even though she could feel herself getting stronger with each fight...
But each time, her opponent would defeat her with ease.
At this moment, Helnason also bowed slightly to Victor.
"Master of the family."
"I have brought what you instructed."
Victor nodded, then said to Saphiros:
"I've arranged a battle for you."
As Saphiros listened to Victor's words, her originally serious and wary expression turned somewhat puzzled.
It was as if we were processing the information Victor had provided.
Viktor continued:
"If you win today, I will allow you to leave here."
You can go to whomever you want.
[Information processed successfully]
After a moment's thought, her eyes reflected the bear-man's enormous body.
Then, she lowered her head and said in a low voice:
"However, the target is—[unrivaled]."
This is Saphiros's final assessment of Helnarson after ninety-nine battles with him.
No matter how strong she becomes, it will all end up the same way.
Unrivaled.
This bear-man is so strong it seems to have no upper limit.
But Viktor shook his head and slowly said:
"Your opponent is certainly not him."
The moment the words fell, a powerful roar echoed outside the cave.
Awooo—!!!
A tiger's roar resounded, the sound waves even penetrating the rock tunnel and echoing inside the cave.
As if detecting its prey, Saphiros's serpentine eyes snapped shut, her body crouched down, and a terrifying power erupted from her flesh.
A pale light flashed out, and Saphiros instantly realized that the long blade had pierced through her skin and appeared in her palm.
Bang!
The long blade and the tiger's claws were locked in a fierce struggle.
The two were locked in a stalemate, their claws and long blades colliding and sparking from the friction.
In a simple brute-force resistance, neither side was at a disadvantage.
Victor watched the stalemate between the tiger-man and Sephiroth, narrowed his eyes, and said with a hint of interest:
Who do you think will win?
"I'm sorry, Master."
Haile Nathan spoke in a low voice, his words tinged with apology:
"Even an ant can trip up an elephant."
"I cannot be certain of victory for either side until everything is settled."
Viktor smiled faintly:
"I like what you said, after all, you are the strongest martial artist."
Hainarson closed his eyes, bent slightly, and did not respond further.
The solid body blocked the sunlight from falling on Viktor's body.
Viktor, hands in his pockets, carefully observed the two opposing sides, as if he had made a decision:
"Alright, let them fight here for a while."
He turned around and looked up at the enormous bear-man:
"There are some things I've never quite understood."
“Take me to the cemetery, Helnason.”
Hailnason opened his eyes, his imposing gaze meeting Victor's.
To Viktor, the serious gaze seemed like a high, guarded wall standing tall against him.
"There are some questions I'd like to ask him privately."
“That person—the former head of the family.”
