"Miss Kefla...?"
Erica stood there, stunned. She never expected that the person who came would be Gwen's sister.
Hene was also a little puzzled when she saw the purple-haired beauty.
"Erica, who is this...?"
"This is... the sister of Knight Commander Gwen of the Royal Knights."
Hene still looked confused, as if she was sorting out the relationships.
Erica waved her hand and said:
"Never mind, it's hard to explain in a short time."
Kevlar, hearing the two of them talking to each other, squinted and chuckled softly:
"So, Erica, can you tell your sister what you're doing here?"
"Also, it's not good for children to play with fire."
She was referring, of course, to Erica's magic just now.
Devon Reiser breathed a sigh of relief; just moments before, he had almost thought he was about to die on the spot.
Fortunately, the woman who suddenly appeared saved him in time.
With the threat to his life temporarily averted, Devon resumed his initial arrogant demeanor.
"Hey! You! I don't care who you are! Help me! I can give you anything you want."
Before he could finish speaking, several sharp blades instantly pierced Devon Reiser's side, almost touching his head.
“I didn’t tell you to speak, so shut up.”
She didn't even glance at Devon, warning him instead.
Devon was so frightened that he immediately shut his mouth and dared not say another word.
The world fell silent. Kefla looked at Hennie, a dangerous glint in her eyes.
"So, miss, aren't you going to explain?"
Heni was a little scared. She sensed an intense hostility from the other person and instinctively took a half step back.
Seeing this, Erica quickly stepped between the two to explain.
"It was Devon Reiser who first humiliated Hennie, and he did many other outrageous things!"
"This kind of scourge must never remain in the academy..."
However, she was stopped halfway through her sentence by Kevlar.
"Alright, Erica, you don't need to say anything more."
"Actually, whether that fat pig lives or dies is none of my business."
Upon hearing this, Devon Reiser tensed up again.
Does what he said mean he might still die?
But right now, nobody cares about him.
Kefla looked at Erica, her usual smile gone.
“He should be handled by someone else, not you, Erica.”
“Your father’s position is not secure, especially after last time.”
“If you make a mistake this time, Victor won’t come to your aid again.”
Erica felt a little flustered after hearing Kefla's explanation.
She didn't want to cause trouble for her father, nor did she want to rely on Victor for everything.
So she quickly began to explain;
"We could easily pin the blame for his death on the devil..."
The moment the demon was mentioned, Kefla's eyes changed.
He became incredibly cold and ruthless.
"It seems you do know something."
Erica's body froze, and every hair on her body stood on end.
She sensed danger.
Even during the volcano incident, when death was imminent, she didn't feel that way.
That was the oppressive feeling coming from Kevlar.
She is terrifying.
As if she had shed her usual disguise, the real Kefla was like a terrifying hunter.
'Does Kevlar want to kill me?'
'No...that's not right!'
This real killing intent was not directed at her.
It was as if they had just brushed past her, but the killing intent was locked onto the person behind her.
Erica turned around abruptly, her gaze fixed on Hennie behind her.
"Henry!"
Almost simultaneously, Henney seemed to lose her mind.
The tentacles around her became increasingly agitated, as if responding to the astonishing killing intent.
"As expected, it is a vessel for a demon."
Kefla's expression gradually turned crazed.
She had smelled Erica's scent as early as yesterday.
That's the filthy smell that only a demon would give off.
It's very special and difficult to distinguish.
As a seasoned demon hunter, Kefla has killed countless demons and their hosts.
She was bathed in demonic blood, and under this tangible killing intent, the demon's vessel would experience a stress response, thus losing its reason.
And now, Hene's appearance has proven everything.
At this moment, Erica also realized why Kefla was there.
"So, you asked me where I went yesterday..."
"You came here for this demon, didn't you?"
She opened her mouth, wanting to get an answer from Kefla.
However, Kefla no longer had the energy to answer her; her murderous intent surged forth like a tidal wave, utterly insane.
Her hair was purple and even emitted a faint glow.
Kefla licked her lips, a sign of excitement when facing prey.
However, she didn't forget to remind Erica.
"Erica, stay away from her."
She didn't need to say anything more; anyone could see that something was wrong with Henney.
The dark figures on the ground seemed to have received a summons and quickly assembled to wrap Henny up.
Soon, a completely black shadow enveloped her, though Henne's face could still be vaguely discerned.
In an instant, the several silver-white daggers on the ground suddenly linked together, and the resulting ripples kept them in the very center.
