A huge wooden table, gilded with gold foil, stood solemnly in the center of this deep palace.
Behind the table, a huge red fur chair stands out, its edges also decorated with wide, glossy gilded ornaments.
A black trench coat with intricate patterns draped casually over a tall table.
One half slid off the desk, while the other half was firmly held by a large, powerful hand.
The enormous Hades, draped in a heavy cloak, had his hands on the writing desk, one hand clutching his trench coat.
His other hand touched his chin, and his slightly furrowed brows constantly revealed his deep doubt and contemplation.
He remembered this trench coat very clearly; it belonged to a mortal who had come to hell.
The trench coat has indeed been found, but the whereabouts of the dog thief remain a mystery.
Hades stared at the black trench coat in his hand and couldn't help but sigh.
He lost the three-headed dog that guarded the gates of hell.
This not only caused him to lose face in front of the gods in heaven, but also left the gates of hell unguarded.
Every time the gates of hell open, there are souls trying to escape.
Cerberus would tear all those cowardly souls to shreds.
But now, no one is guarding the gate for him anymore.
Therefore, this heavy responsibility had to fall on Hades' shoulders.
As a god of the underworld, he had to personally guard the gates.
It is truly tragic.
At this moment, Hades, who was deep in thought, suddenly raised his head and gazed at the towering top of the palace.
A clear sensation came from the top of his head.
Someone has entered the gates of hell.
Moreover, this aura is extremely unique.
This feeling...
The more intently Pluto felt it, the more incredible it seemed.
He slammed his fist on the table, causing the pile of papyrus sheets to bounce.
He suddenly stood up, pushing the chair back a distance with his legs.
Hades lowered his head, his eyes fixed on the trench coat in his hand.
The aura emanating from above bore a striking resemblance to the feeling evoked by this trench coat.
Upon realizing this, Hades' eyes became bloodshot, and his pupils were filled with crimson lines.
His beard flew wildly due to the intense emotional turmoil:
"You dog thief, I've finally found you!"
He grabbed the trench coat, and at the same time, the cloak behind him began to dissolve, slowly merging into his body and tightly wrapping around his massive frame.
His massive figure left the table and slowly walked toward a wall shrouded in blood-red curtains.
As soon as Hades took a step, an incredibly terrifying flame erupted from a section of his body.
The flames gradually engulfed his body, and he eventually disappeared from the palace.
Inside the magnificent hall, only a little imp remained, trembling at the table, staring blankly in the direction where Hades had departed.
Its mind raced, but it still couldn't figure it out.
It's just a trench coat, why is the boss so angry?
...
The enormous gates of hell stood silently at the end of the long bridge.
The air around them was filled with the smell of burning lava, and lava was constantly gushing out.
The deep hellfire flickered intermittently in the surrounding space, colliding with the violent lava.
At the top of this terrifying land lies an incredibly hazy starry sky.
The shimmering crimson star hung high in the air, exuding an extremely jarring stillness.
This is the gate to hell.
Countless souls gathered here, and neither the gushing lava nor the raging flames could obscure this blue ocean.
Suddenly, a burst of flame flickered at the edge of the gate, and a massive body shrouded in a red cloak slowly appeared on the land.
Hades looked at these souls, his eyes filled with helplessness and anger.
Oh, really.
Since his obedient watchdog was stolen, the gates of hell have been without a guard.
Every day, countless spirits drift in from outside the door and then wander aimlessly here.
These departed souls have lost their memories of their previous lives; their eyes are vacant, their steps are slow, and they wander aimlessly.
Some of them may be missing an arm or a leg, but they are still relatively quick to move.
Some had their internal organs removed or half of their bodies severed, and could only crawl on the ground with difficulty.
Like green maggots
Some had their skulls split open halfway before they died, with a bluish, smoky substance constantly oozing from their heads.
If I'm not mistaken, that's their brain matter.
It flows slowly along the way, seemingly without end.
Hades watched this scene with a troubled expression, his enormous foot gently stomping the ground.
Immediately, a long spear, gleaming with golden light and incredibly sharp, slowly rose from the ground, its body covered in deep red stripes.
The long, gleaming spearhead was split in two.
Hades raised his eyebrows, his angry gaze sweeping over the bodies of the wandering ghosts.
A terrifying inferno erupted from his eyes.
Seeing the scene before him, he picked up his spear and slashed at all the dead souls.
In the next instant, space seemed to be torn open by crimson flames, creating a massive rift.
The flames tumbled in the air, becoming incredibly violent, seemingly transforming into fiery monsters that pushed the rift to an even wider width.
Through the edge of the flames, dense crimson stars shimmered in the cracks, seemingly echoing the starry sky above the bridge.
Hades raised his spear and pointed it at the crack, his deep voice sounding as if accompanied by the cracking sound of something dry and rusty breaking.
