A strong, warm wind swept through the garden, causing the lush green grass to sway and the delicate green leaves to dance lightly in the air.
The colorful flowers seemed to sense nature's call; they bent their bodies and swayed gently along with the grass.
Apart from the howling of the strong wind in their ears, the entire garden was silent.
At this moment, the atmosphere of this land suddenly became somewhat mysterious and terrifying.
Even the vast snowfields surrounding the grassland were swept up by a fierce blizzard that swept high into the sky.
Suddenly, this land became incredibly restless.
Then, that ethereal voice rang out, tinged with a hint of dissatisfaction:
“This is not funny, sir.”
What you see now is who I am now.
"This garden, this cottage, and everything outside in the wind, snow, and cold winter are all manifestations of myself."
Erica was filled with strong doubt and astonishment upon hearing this.
She never imagined that the land before her was the very place from which the voice came from the sky.
Wouldn't that mean she's sitting right on top of him right now?
This instinctively struck Erica as unbelievable.
Just as she was confused, Victor's voice rang clearly in her mind:
"She's telling the truth."
Victor's affirmation shocked Erica even more.
Viktor was also very familiar with this mysterious being who had no physical body and took the form of a lush green meadow.
Persephone, Queen of the Underworld.
Every year, she is forced to spend four months of her time in this garden.
Her physical existence would transform into a vast snowfield covering a layer of hell, while her power would merge into this land, creating this evergreen garden.
As the blizzard on the snowy plains outside gradually subsided, that ethereal voice, tinged with surprise, rang out once more:
"I didn't expect you to know even this. You really are quite special."
"It seems that it was no coincidence that the rice stalk appeared in your hand."
The conversation between the two left Erica, who was listening to everything, completely bewildered.
She felt as if she were in a fog, completely confused and unable to understand anything.
What rice ears? What are they talking about?
Just as she was wondering, the gentle voice from the sky rang out again:
"May I take a look at the ears of rice in your hand?"
The Queen of the Underworld's voice suddenly became lighter, and her attitude became even more respectful.
When Victor first appeared before the Gates of Hell, he came into her sight.
The Queen of the Underworld took a keen interest in this human who dared to venture into Hell.
However, what she was curious about was not Viktor himself, but the powerful divine power emanating from him.
This is very similar to a certain deity she knows.
If this human was indeed favored by the goddess, it would be reasonable for her to treat him with a slightly more sincere and respectful attitude.
Upon hearing this, Erica slowly closed her eyes.
The trench coat behind her seemed to be lifted up by an invisible strong wind, swaying in the air.
A wisp of bluish smoke slowly rose from the surface of the trench coat, and a pale flame ignited.
Deep smoke curled up from the trench coat and wrapped around one of Erica's arms.
In the blink of an eye, the arm shed its flesh and skin, revealing white bones shrouded in bluish smoke.
A crack appeared in the space beside her, revealing a hazy world filled with smoke and dust.
A thin crack appeared on the land shrouded in bluish smoke, opening slightly.
Erica reached her ghostly arm into the crevice, as if grasping something, and slowly pulled it out.
Instantly, a powerful golden light burst forth from the crack, illuminating the entire earth with a divine aura.
The golden light even pierced through the clear sky, making the sun hanging high in the sky even brighter.
Countless colorful and vibrant flowers raised their heads and swayed gently under the mysterious holy light.
The moment the golden ear of wheat was seen, the entire garden seemed to become uneasy.
However, this time it was not chaos and anger, but an irrepressible joy.
A gentle breeze swept across the grassland, as if awakening all living things on the land.
"Indeed, you are a human being who is favored by her."
The Queen of the Underworld's voice revealed obvious joy.
The colorful petals all around swayed gently in the breeze.
They all seemed to be leaning towards the golden ear of wheat, trying to touch it.
But the next moment, Erica suddenly took the wheat stalk back, and the holy light disappeared along with it.
At that moment, the Queen of the Underworld's voice carried a hint of grievance, and even a touch of reluctance.
"How could this happen..."
At the same time, Erica's cold voice rang out again:
“I can give you the wheat, or I can free you from this situation.”
"But I need you to do me a favor."
After hearing Viktor's words, the Queen of the Underworld was filled with curiosity.
This human in front of her actually claims that he can free her from the state of being transformed into a garden?
She was puzzled.
How is that possible?
So, the Queen of the Underworld took Victor's words as a joke for the time being.
But she was indeed somewhat tempted by that stalk of rice.
The Queen of the Underworld couldn't help but ponder.
She knew Viktor's current state perfectly well; her bright eyes were enough to see right through him.
Viktor now resides in other people's bodies as a soul, and can only act while attached to a living person.
