A long, blood-red curtain flowed across the gilded ground, and several deep red pillars stood on either side of the underworld palace.
In the center of the empty underworld palace stood a huge, gilded writing desk.
A giant wearing a red robe and with blue skin.
He was sitting on a dark red leather chair, clutching his head in pain.
Hades had both arms propped up on the desk.
His crimson pupils were fixed on the table, a slight tremor in his eyes.
A long report lay before him.
The report was filled with detailed descriptions of the damage throughout the underworld.
The words, like a swarm of ants, densely filled the entire sheet of paper and also filled Hades's gaze.
He examined each location on the report one by one, feeling his head grow heavier and heavier.
Almost the entire underworld has been destroyed and needs to be rebuilt.
As Hades continued to examine the damage to the Underworld, his anger grew ever stronger.
at last……
Bang!
A deafening roar echoed throughout the vast underworld.
Hades braced himself on the table with one hand, while his other hand was clenched into a fist, creating a small dent in the desk.
"Damn humans! Even after they left, they won't give me a moment's peace!"
He recalled his final battle with that human.
The terrifying power of Viktor's attack was simply devastating.
The powerful light waves, accompanied by shockwaves, swept across almost every level of the underworld.
The destructive force even crushed every single rock on the ground into powder.
This terrifying force caused the entire underworld to shake violently, and all the dead souls thought that hell was about to collapse.
When the light faded and the shockwave subsided.
The underworld still exists, but it has suffered varying degrees of damage in different places.
However, these damages were not the most offensive to Hades.
What angered him even more was...
Victor's attack caused every corner of the underworld to react extremely to the mysterious natural forces he unleashed.
For example, the lava region in the middle of the underworld, and his favorite daffodil plains.
Under Victor's influence, the originally active magma solidified.
The once-boiling lava field is now experiencing continuous torrential rain.
The temperature dropped sharply, and the lava was thus cast into pieces of obsidian.
The powerful shockwaves further cleaved the obsidian-filled river channels into empty ravines.
The torrential rain filled the area, quickly submerging the cooled, scorched earth.
Now, that land is almost completely submerged by water.
Stepping on it, you're greeted by a layer of black, muddy sludge.
Hades' favorite lava daffodils all withered in this torrential rain.
Even the River Styx there was filled with mud.
The barren land was covered by rapidly growing dense forests and seas of flowers in just half a day.
And in that blissful land where the souls of the dead dwell, a gigantic super sun rose, almost touching the earth.
The surging flames around the sun were clearly visible to the departed souls.
Not a single soul dared to venture out, fearing that it would be scorched and disintegrated by the blazing sun.
"Ugh, this is such a hassle."
Hades, the god of the underworld, rubbed his forehead and sighed.
The problem of damage to the underworld is relatively easy to handle.
After all, the underworld itself possesses self-awareness and a powerful ability to repair itself, and it will be able to return to its original state in no time.
But Hades' most beloved statues, those majestic statues placed on either side of the gates of the underworld.
And the buildings at the very bottom of hell.
Everything was reduced to dust by the light waves and wind erosion unleashed by Victor's attack.
These statues were created under his personal supervision, and he devoted countless hours of his life to their creation!
They are not part of the "underworld" and cannot be restored.
So when Hades was resurrected in the underworld, he found his home completely bare.
His heart was bleeding.
Fortunately, Viktor was somewhat restrained.
Despite the seemingly earth-shattering explosion, it miraculously did not harm any of the surrounding victims.
It was as if the attack was specifically targeted at him and the underworld, while the other souls remained unharmed.
But thinking about this made Hades even angrier.
Why only bomb him?
"Indeed, there's a reason why I hate mages."
Just as Hades plopped back down in his chair, still sulking, a delicate fragrance wafted from the edge of the palace.
Hades sniffed the air and, upon catching the scent of spring, instantly knew who had arrived.
Sure enough, when he looked up, a dignified woman was already sitting at the table in front of him.
Persephone wore a pure white robe, his legs crossed gracefully.
He rested his hands on the desk behind him, sitting on the report papers.
Her slender, fair legs swayed gracefully in front of Hades, and she didn't seem to care at all that a large expanse of skin was exposed under her skirt.
"What, are you still angry?"
Hades blew a sigh of frustration.
His long, black breaths drifted out like a thin mist, venting his discontent.
Despite his dissatisfaction, he still had to respond when his wife came.
"Madam, what brings you here?"
"I have some good news for you."
Persephone squinted and chuckled softly.
She leaned forward slightly, her hands gently supporting her cheeks.
She approached Hades' somewhat somber face and a sweet smile appeared on her face.
