Chapter 547 Don't worry, it's your first time.

"Um……"

The girl opened her eyes groggily.

Feeling the soft touch beneath her, Erica immediately realized that she was lying on a comfortable bed.

She gently reached out and rubbed the corner of her eye.

Looking at the gradually clearing surroundings, I was stunned.

The room was filled with all sorts of green potted plants.

The ceiling was even covered with lush ivy, its tendrils almost covering half the room.

Amidst lush greenery, vibrant flowers adorn most of the floor.

Erica was a little confused because there were some of the flowers she had never even seen before.

Just as she was still lost in thought, a refreshing floral fragrance quietly entered her nostrils.

The fragrance seemed to possess some kind of magical power, quickly making her feel clear-headed.

Erica slowly sat up, surprise in her eyes.

Uh, where is this?

She recalled how she and the professor had gone through that hellish trial together.

Therefore, they should have already left the underworld.

She slowly twisted her shoulders and gently rotated her waist, trying to relieve the stiffness in her body.

However, she seemed to have thought of something and looked down at her palm.

She didn't feel any special power.

Erica remembered Professor Victor saying that passing the trial would bring a curse from hell.

Logically speaking, she shouldn't be a mage anymore...

Thinking of this, her brows furrowed slightly, her hands clenched into fists, and her heart was filled with a sense of resentment.

But she quickly regained her usual composure.

She originally went to Hell alone to rescue Professor Victor.

If the price for Professor Victor regaining her freedom was the loss of her magical abilities, Erica believed it was still worthwhile.

Therefore, when she had the opportunity to start the trial, she did not hesitate and pulled the switch.

Just as Erica was about to look around to find her location.

A familiar and gentle voice suddenly rang in my ears:

"You're awake?"

Erica froze, sitting on the bed and looking back.

What she saw was a girl wearing a colorful flower wreath and a pure white long dress.

The girl was lying on the edge of her bed, her elbows propped up on the bed surface, her hands gently supporting her cheeks.

She bent her legs and swayed gently on the bed, gazing at her with a smile in her eyes.

Upon seeing the girl in front of her, Erica's mind went blank and she fell into a daze.

ah?

What's going on, Queen of the Underworld?

Shouldn't she have left hell?

Just then, she felt as if the soft bed beneath her had transformed into a thick lawn.

A few brightly colored wildflowers were interspersed among them.

However, the soft feeling was almost identical to when she was lying on the bed just now.

The scenery around her was also slowly changing; the original potted plants gradually disappeared, and the flower clusters quietly retreated.

Instead, there is a natural field of flowers and grasses, swaying gently in the breeze.

Erica was enveloped in a fragrant and natural atmosphere, and her initial astonishment gradually subsided in this magical environment.

She looked up and around, and the clusters of flowers and grass around her made her feel as if she were in a dream.

"It's strange that I didn't leave?"

A gentle voice came from beside Erica.

She looked back and saw that Persephone had stood up and was standing on the grass.

Facing a verdant landscape, she closed her eyes, seemingly savoring the fragrance of nature.

The white long dress swayed gently in the breeze on the grass, and the surrounding flowers and green grass also swayed with the wind.

Erica stared at her, momentarily stunned.

But she still subconsciously responded to Persephone's words, nodding slightly.

Persephone turned his head and looked again into Erica's slightly confused eyes.

“I was also surprised that you appeared in the River Styx, the deepest part of the Underworld, after the trial ended.”

“I asked Charon to salvage you; it cost two gold coins.”

Upon hearing this, Erica's mouth gaped open in surprise, her eyes filled with disbelief.

She knew that once a soul or a human sank into the River Styx, they could never rise again naturally.

They can only suffer in extreme cold.

She thought to herself that if it weren't for Persephone's rescue, she might have remained in the River Styx forever.

Perhaps she should thank the other person a couple of times?

"...Thank you? I'll return the gold coins to you."

Persephone smiled slightly:

"No need to thank me. I don't want to watch the humans I love sink into the River Styx."

Uh... was that "I like you" directed at her?

Erica was a little confused, but she still turned her head and looked around curiously.

When she turned her head, the sparse wildflowers had transformed into a riot of colorful flowers.

They are like a group of fragrant beauties gathered together, vying for attention and unwilling to fall behind.

Erica looked around and couldn't help but whisper to Persephone:

"Where...where exactly is this?"

"This is my room. It seems you like it."

Persephone's voice carried a hint of amusement.

Smiling, she stretched out her slender fingers and gently traced them across the clear sky.

The surrounding scenery began to change again, and a hazy phantom rose up, sweeping across the entire land like a dream.

The already lush flowerbeds now looked as if they had put on a magnificent dress.

They became more abundant, blooming more neatly and beautifully.
