Early in the morning, Victor took a walk around the manor.
Having come across the "Heart of the Wise," he no longer needs to read books to pass the time.
Level 1 Wise Mind is now perfectly sufficient.
To level up another level, you need to read for 300 hours straight; that's just too torture.
Similarly, the school was bombed, so he didn't have to go to work at the college and felt a bit bored.
Although I often slacked off at school.
He led Vega through his garden, stepping along a path strewn with pink petals, and heading deeper into the garden.
As I passed by the garden, I caught a glimpse of a familiar yet slender figure out of the corner of my eye.
It's Henney.
Heni was almost completely surrounded by flowers. She buried her head under various blossoms, occasionally peeking out a small head, like a lively and beautiful flower fairy.
But she was so focused that she obviously didn't notice Viktor.
Victor didn't greet her; he just glanced at her as he passed by and prepared to leave.
Vega called out to Victor:
"Hey! Don't go yet, check on her."
Victor followed the raven's advice, turned his head, and looked carefully at Henney.
Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be quite something.
A small blue magic circle appeared in Henney's palm.
The water flowed gently, tiny streams of water appearing out of thin air from Henne's palm, and she used magic to water the flowers.
Victor: "?"
Vega blinked, bewildered, and said something completely nonsensical to Viktor:
Do you...have a male maid in your house?
That's definitely not the case. Victor prefers quiet, so he only brought a few maids from his territory. His residence in the capital doesn't even have a steward.
Victor understood what Vega meant: succubi cannot cultivate their own magic power.
But it's only been a day since we last met, how could Hene have found someone to date?
And most importantly, she's not the kind of person who's promiscuous.
With doubt in his mind, Viktor stepped forward.
Heni was still experimenting with her magical compositions, constructing small magic circles in her hands, just like a child who had just received a toy, happily making various attempts.
"What happened?"
Hearing the question behind her, Heni was startled, and the magic circle dissipated uncontrollably.
Viktor was standing behind her and happened to see this scene.
He could tell that Henne's magical reserves were very low, like a thin film of water in an iron bucket.
Henney was startled, but when she turned around and saw that it was Victor, she was overjoyed.
Seemingly eager to share her joy, she quickly said.
"Professor! I have magic! I can use magic now!"
It was clear she was excited and wanted Viktor to praise her.
However, this only made Viktor more confused.
Henne kept talking:
“I don’t know what happened. After you left yesterday, I felt like I was under a spell.”
Viktor fell into a strange state of thought; where had he ever seen anything like this before?
The character Heni never even appeared in the game, so he naturally couldn't explain this anomaly.
'Could it be that your judgment is wrong?'
This was the only thing Victor could think of, but Vega simply responded to him:
'I absolutely cannot make a mistake.'
Stubborn Vega will not admit his mistake, because God is always right.
Victor stopped thinking about it and looked down at Hennie, nodded, and praised her.
"very nice."
He reached out his arm instinctively to pat Heni's shoulder, but seeing the expectant look in her eyes, he hesitated for a moment and instead placed his hand on her head and ruffled it.
A surge of happiness welled up inside her, and Heni felt a warm current flowing through her body once again.
However, at this moment, Vega stared intently at Heni.
It was very sensitive to magic and sensed an increase in magic power from Hene's body.
what happened?
Viktor can increase her magic power just by patting her head? Then why don't I feel anything when he strokes my head every day?
Vega really wanted to get to the bottom of this, but Victor had already left with it.
Before leaving, Henney happily waved goodbye to Victor.
"Go a little further away," Vega said, bending down to Viktor.
"Something's wrong with her."
Do you need to tell me?
Viktor muttered a speechless complaint.
From the player's perspective, when the player makes physical contact with an NPC or enters combat, they can see the NPC's level.
Because she has no magic, Heni's level has always been zero.
Today, the first thing Victor saw when he touched Heni was level 1.
But after his hand left Henne's head...
*Snap*, it's upgraded.
Victor remembered that he had hugged Hennie before leaving yesterday, which could be considered physical contact.
Could it be that Henney's upgrade was also related to physical contact with him?
Vega suggested from the side:
"It might be a coincidence, but I still suggest you try again next time."
Try again?
He thought that Heni might come to him every day in the future, asking for hugs and head pats, and he also thought about her succubus race.
For some reason, something just feels off.
"A succubus, perhaps?"
Viktor muttered something to himself, then stopped thinking about it and left the garden.
Back at the mansion, Victor passed by Lia's room.
The door was slightly ajar, and he peeked inside curiously, just in time to see Lia holding up a dress to herself.
