Chapter 557 Old Deng, He Got a Loot!

Boom boom boom—

A deep and violent explosion resounded from the depths of the dark bronze fortress.

Terrifyingly intense flames, accompanied by scorching shockwaves, spread wildly around the bronze fortress.

The bronze fortress in the center of the flowerbed, resembling a giant bell, trembled and made a loud noise.

Even the lush flowerbeds around it seemed to tremble as a result.

The group of undead soldiers standing before the bronze fortress stood frozen in place, dumbfounded, exchanging bewildered glances.

Looking at the bronze fortress that seemed to have come to life, their empty eyes were filled with shock.

This...this isn't right.

Why is there a fight breaking out in this prison?

The Grim Reaper called that human hero in, could it be just to fight her?

As they were wondering, a hurried shout suddenly came from behind them.

The soldiers quickly turned around and saw a comrade rushing back shouting:

"Quickly, Lord Hades!"

What? Lord Hades has arrived?

Upon hearing Hades' name, the soldiers immediately became serious.

The next second, a plume of black smoke rose rapidly from the edge of the flowerbed.

A blue form gradually emerged from the sky, tinged with orange hellfire.

The black smoke dissipated, transforming into a deep red cloak that quietly draped behind Hades.

His palm was flat, and a delicate young girl in a white dress sat on his arm.

That was Persephone, the mistress of the underworld.

"Madam, there's really no need to rush like this."

"Wherever you want to go, I'll take you."

Upon hearing this, Persephone jumped off Hades's palm and gave Hades a disgruntled look.

Her eyes seemed to say,

'You should have reminded me sooner! Seeing how anxious I am, you didn't even say a word.'

However, thinking of the many undead soldiers around her, she decided to preserve Hades' dignity.

After all, he is the ruler of the underworld, a man of noble status.

Just then, an even clearer roar suddenly came.

Hades and Persephone both turned their gaze toward the bronze fortress where the sound was coming from.

The copper fortress trembled and then erupted with a series of wild explosions.

Even the two of them felt a little confused.

What exactly happened inside Copper Fortress? How could the fighting be so intense?

Could it be that Thanatos has become much stronger?

They knew that the two sides fighting were definitely Victor and Thanatos.

After all, Viktor had just been called in for a talk, and he was definitely unhappy and wanted revenge.

As the child of that god, Thanatos was the perfect target for revenge.

But now, a fierce battle was raging inside the copper fortress, which surprised them somewhat.

They were all aware of Viktor's strength.

Hades, in particular, had fought against his opponent many times and was well aware of his opponent's abnormal strength.

Judging from the sounds inside, it was clear that the fight was going back and forth.

Was Thanatos really that powerful?

"Let's hurry in and stop them."

Persephone listened to the metallic clanging sound in his ears, his expression grave, and spoke earnestly.

Just as she was about to lift her skirt and walk towards the bronze fortress, she was suddenly blocked by a large blue hand.

"It shouldn't be necessary, Madam."

Persephone looked up and saw Hades blocking her way.

Just as he was about to get angry, Hades suddenly said:

"They should be done fighting."

Before Persephone could react, a violent explosion shattered the bronze fortress and surged wildly towards the scorched earth at the bottom of hell.

The next second, the entire bronze fortress seemed unable to withstand this shocking force.

A massive pillar of scorching red magma suddenly rose from the ground, tearing apart the dark roof.

A crimson whirlwind swirled through the dark, lush flowerbeds, unleashing a violent burst of chaotic air currents.

The scorching heat of chaos burst through the copper fortress gates, surging down like a raging tide.

Flames gushed from the depths of the giant pillars, crashing against the bronze fortress and roaring out through the deep windows and doors like writhing, twisting fire serpents.

In an instant, even the surrounding flowerbeds were set ablaze, engulfed in flames.

The entire copper fortress was enveloped within it, glowing red and twisted from the intense heat.

Countless dead soldiers stared in terror at the scorched earth around them.

Hearing the constant explosions pounding into their heads, they panicked and scattered in all directions to escape.

Although the undead soldiers are in the underworld and are immortal, they are only afraid of fire and lightning.

Flames will consume their souls, and thunder will shatter their physical bodies.

Therefore, the towering wall of fire before them was nothing short of a disaster for them.

After a while, the undead soldiers retreated in fear, but still stood firmly in front of Hades and Persephone.

Looking at the scene before him, the crimson light in Hades' eyes seemed to dim slightly.

That once dazzling brilliance illuminated the darkness of night.

Persephone's expression was astonished as the fleeing, dead soldiers.

The blazing flames illuminated her pupils, making them glow.

Did Victor set fire to the place in the underworld where evil souls are imprisoned?

Seeing the scene before him, Hades sighed helplessly, as if he had long been used to it all.

"Now that things have come to this, let's put out the fire first."

...

Erica stood there, panting heavily.

Intense fatigue and pain were almost consuming her entire body.

She stared wide-eyed ahead, the surrounding circular earthen surface now a scene of utter devastation.

The azure flames all around had long since died out, but dust still danced in the air.
