In the underworld, there exist three supreme gods.
Their bodies constitute this mysterious realm.
These three deities are:
Tartarus, whose body is the embodiment of hell itself.
Erebus, the god of the abyss who resides between hell and the human world.
And Nyx, the goddess of night who shrouds the underworld in eternal darkness.
Legend has it that these gods split off from primordial chaos and, with their initial will, together formed the foundation of the underworld.
They are equivalent to children born to the same parents.
But as deities, they do not emphasize blood relations.
Especially these three supreme deities who split off from the same source.
What's truly astonishing and explosive is...
Two of these three supreme gods developed a delicate emotional bond.
This relationship is also one of the reasons why Nyx became the mother of the gods of the underworld.
Nyx, the goddess of night; Erebus, the god of the abyss.
These two supreme gods, whose relationship was complicated, eventually fell in love and had some "children".
Those children transformed into the sky, daylight, death, and sleep.
Unfortunately, they are a trinity, all belonging to the same part of the underground world.
Thus, Tartarus, the god of the underworld and the most important core of the underworld, protested against this deep connection between the other two gods.
It did not understand the self-loving behavior of the other two supreme gods and hoped that they would not display such "sour" love in front of it.
Although nominally three independent supreme deities, in reality their wills are united.
Tartarus's idea was also their shared idea, and therefore could not be rejected.
So Nyx retreated to the deepest part of the underground world.
In that void, the Dark Tower was built to guard the heart of Tartarus.
Erebus, on the other hand, transformed into the abyss gate connecting the human world and the underworld, becoming Tartarus's brain.
All souls drawn to Hell after death first arrive at Erebus, and are then gradually led toward the heart of Tartarus.
In this way, the two worlds were clearly separated, one above and one below.
I thought the two gods would be able to calm each other down after their split.
As a result, Erebus did indeed quiet down.
It transformed into an abyss, sinking into an eternal slumber, silent and still day after day.
Nyx, however, was tormented by her deep longing.
After experiencing the taste of passionate love for the first time, even as a god, even though he fell in love with Erebus, who shared the same origin as him.
She remained deeply immersed in this love.
However, because she was responsible for the darkness and rules of the underworld, she was unable to cross the two worlds to find Erebus.
Once she leaves the Dark Mansion, the entire underworld will lose the protection of the night.
Thus, under that almost insane yet irreparable view of love, Nyx became shrouded in all sorts of negative emotions.
Discord, misfortune, destruction, mockery, sorrow, revenge, deception, lust, vice, decay.
The only way she could do was to forcibly remove these negative emotions from her body.
These separated emotions, carrying a portion of her divinity, helplessly transformed into one 'child' after another.
And so, Nyx remained trapped in this state of both longing and forcibly suppressing her longing.
Even after millions of years, they still cannot extricate themselves.
As for now, can she forget her deep affection for Erebus?
If she could truly forget, she wouldn't have to constantly generate a negative emotion that would then emerge and claim a divine position in the underworld.
Sure enough, when Victor mentioned Erebus, Nyx lost control of her composure for the first time.
They even forgot to continue defending against Viktor in front of them.
The dark purple crystal barrier shattered with a deafening roar, and the resulting abyss of black mud slowly crumbled and dissipated.
She paid no attention to Victor, who was still beneath her, as if she were openly allowing him to do whatever he wanted with her body.
Now……
Nyx tried to listen to the voice of the abyss, but all he heard was the hollow crackling of fire.
Nyx tried to focus on the location of the abyss, but all he could see was the blazing flames that devoured everything.
The hellfire, a symbol of power in the underworld, made Nyx recognize this terrifying force at a glance.
Hades, the ruler of the underworld.
Why did Hades attack Erebus? What exactly happened in between?
The image, obscured by the raging flames, made it impossible for Nyx to see the abyss clearly.
At this moment, her mind was no longer able to think, and her thoughts were in complete turmoil.
But suddenly, she seemed to realize something and abruptly lowered her head.
His gaze was sharp as he stared at Viktor beneath him, his voice calm yet icy as he spoke:
"Human, you have been stalling for time."
Even in her anger and panic, her voice, as a deity, revealed no emotion.
It remained as uneventful as ever, without the slightest fluctuation.
Are you trying to provoke a conflict between the Lord of the Underworld and us?
"Provoke?"
Viktor's voice came out heavily from the cold helmet.
The fiery gaze hidden within the crimson helmet suddenly blazed with an even brighter light.
"It was you who violated the trial rules without authorization and started this dispute."
Ever since Victor was first summoned to the Dark Mansion by Nyx after passing the Hell Trial, he has been on guard against Nyx.
He knew that Nyx would do everything in her power to prevent him from leaving the Underworld.
