Darkness shattered, light faded.
This underground abyss, known as the closest to the human world, was finally devastated by a terrifying energy eruption caused by the collision of two violent forces.
The deep, flowing black hole has been completely shattered, and the space that was engulfed by raging flames has also lost its intense heat.
The exposed, broken hole allowed the light flowing within to spill out, engulfing the surrounding surging darkness.
The pale rocks that had been suspended in mid-air turned to dust and were completely swallowed by the light.
The once glorious battlefield of the king was reduced to ashes, and the jagged rocks are no more.
Even the solid, pitch-black platform surrounding them had vanished without a trace.
None of the million dead who were immersed in darkness survived.
Even as darkness dissipated, those souls were unable to return to this abyss.
The surging colors, like gushing liquid life, stretched out and even wrapped around the broken remnants of the floating rocks.
After these rocks have drifted a great distance, a verdant seed breaks through the earth and reveals its tip.
The seed grew rapidly, and a bright green flower bud bloomed on the upright stem.
Soon, Persephone, dressed in a white dress, appeared from among them, looking around curiously.
She gently wiped the cold sweat from her forehead and slowly broke free from the flower bud.
Standing in the limited space, she looked around.
Seeing the rocks covered in iridescent light and scattered darkness, I couldn't help but feel secretly fortunate.
If she hadn't sensed the danger in time and transformed herself into a seed to bury in the ground, she probably would have already been affected by that unbridled power.
The sheer power of this force is astonishing.
Thinking of this, Persephone looked up at the "sky" above the abyss.
Strictly speaking, hell does not have the concept of "sky".
After all, this space is underground.
If the inhabitants of the underground world look up, the stars they see are nothing but illusions.
These starlights were created by the divine power of Nyx, the goddess of night.
Its purpose is to block out the light seeping from the surface and maintain absolute darkness in the underground world.
But now...
Persephone, who was underground, vaguely sensed the presence of the sky.
Now, the sky barrier of the abyss space seems to have been pierced by an immense force, leaving behind a distant and deep rift.
The shattered light and cracks covered the area around the hole.
It was as if a gigantic sword of light had been thrust into the center, its brilliance too dazzling to behold.
The shimmering, otherworldly light not only pierced through thousands of miles, but also tore a terrifying hole in both the underworld and the human world.
The higher you look, the more dazzling the eerie colors emanating from that stream of light become.
Persephone witnessed all of this, feeling the chaotic flow of light surging in her pupils, becoming increasingly murky.
She quickly looked away.
Shocked, she stared wide-eyed and murmured softly at the shattered darkness around her:
"He actually did it."
Divine power.
Undoubtedly, this is the power of the gods.
Each deity possesses a unique power.
Each radish has its own hole; whatever divine power it possesses determines what kind of deity it is.
For example, Hades, the king of the underworld, contains the fires of hell within his body.
The God-King, who reigns supreme in the heavens, wields the thunder of divine punishment.
To become a god, one must possess unique divine power.
Otherwise, it could lead to a great war between gods over the same power, or even the gods replacing each other.
Of course, the god who was replaced was simply unwilling.
"So this starlight is the divine power you created?"
As Persephone gazed at the ethereal, otherworldly lights all around him, his heart was filled with awe and utter shock.
She could not articulate the nature of this divine power, which was unlike any other divine power she knew.
It contains neither destruction nor annihilation, nor any intention of creation or rebirth.
Although it also possesses the power of the six elements of nature, it does not give people a sense of vitality.
Instead, it exudes a mysterious power of chaos, rage, and even blasphemy and distortion.
Just like the strange appearance of the god who appeared in the abyss before.
Thoughts raced through his mind, and Persephone turned his head again, anxiously searching for the source.
Just as she expected, the enormous eye filled with eeriness and ferocity remained suspended in the air beneath the sky.
But as the darkness dissipated, Persephone noticed.
It wasn't a giant eyeball at all; it was clearly an enormous black raven, its body hidden in the darkness.
No wonder you can see wings around one of the eyeballs; those were originally its wings.
But this only made Persephone feel even more terrified.
Even one of its eyeballs is so huge that it seems to be able to encompass the abyss.
And now, at this size, it's just like...
It seemed to completely cover the entire world.
At this moment, the surroundings were filled with dazzling lights, creating an illusion that seemed both real and unreal.
The distorted light seemed to come alive, dancing and devouring the surrounding darkness.
Just looking at those strange lights, Persephone felt a strong sense of worship.
Even that fervent impulse of faith surged from the depths of her heart like a tidal wave, threatening to flood her mind.
Persephone dared not look directly at the body of the celestial being any longer, and quickly lowered his head, murmuring in a low voice:
"Evil God... that's quite a fitting self-designation."
Beings like gods often crave fame.
