Chapter 615 Main Quest +1

The room, simple and unassuming, was filled with a thick layer of red smoke.

The crimson treasure chest leaning against the wall, which had been open at some point, was continuously spewing out mist.

After quite a while, the smoke finally dissipated.

From the dissipating smoke, a woman's figure slowly rose from the treasure chest.

Lia took a deep breath, feeling the familiar atmosphere of the room, before she came to her senses and realized that she was back.

Then, she looked up and gazed out the window.

The sky was already covered with a dark night curtain tinged with pale blue.

Dotted with stars, dazzling and radiant.

The clock on the wall showed that it was already midnight, but Leah seemed to be in high spirits.

I just can't sleep!

So she closed the treasure chest again and took a piece of cloth to cover it up.

After doing all this, she rushed toward the door.

With a 'click', the crisp sound of the door opening rang out, and Lia had just pulled the door open.

As a result, the figure standing in front of her made Lia pause in surprise.

"Leon? What are you doing standing at the door?"

She blinked, her eyes filled with confusion.

Similarly, upon hearing that familiar voice behind her, Leon, who had been dozing off, suddenly woke up.

She turned her head sharply, and when she saw Liya, she blinked in confusion as well.

“Uh, Miss Leah, I…”

Something's not right.

Previously, when Miss Lia warned her not to let anyone near her room, she would stay in her room for a whole day before she was willing to come out.

She knew that at this time of year, Miss Lia would be using the treasure chest in the room to meet with the head of the Victor family.

Why is the Victor family head moving so fast today?

However, that's not the point.

The important thing is that Miss Lia has now come out and seen her.

Wouldn't that expose that she knew Miss Lia was secretly meeting with the head of the Victor family?

Well, Lia didn't think too much about it; at the moment, she was excited because she had learned that Victor was coming back soon.

"Oh well, never mind, I was just looking for you."

She had originally planned to go out and look for Leon, and now that Leon was at the door, it saved her the trouble.

So she hurriedly instructed Leon:

"Quickly! Go tell your family to get ready... Oh, no, no, that's not right."

She swallowed the words that were on the tip of her tongue and thought for a while.

Victor probably wouldn't like this overly enthusiastic welcome.

Realizing this, she quickly changed her words and said again:

"Just ask any chef to prepare some food, and then you go and inform Duke Reeves immediately."

Leon stared blankly at the excited Leah, a guess seemingly forming in her mind.

And soon, Lia said directly:

"Tell Duke Reeves that his daughter is coming back."

Lia's eyes sparkled with anticipation.

Her smile broadened, as if a tremendous burden had been lifted from her shoulders:

"We've finally waited for him to come back."

...

Two paths lie before you. Which one should you choose?

There are two different paths before Victor and Erica.

The first road winds its way up to the higher ground ahead.

The warm and melodious dim light shrouded the road in a light golden veil, and the dust that was kicked up looked messy and disorderly under the light.

At the end of the road stood a door filled with gentle light.

The constant presence of life emanating from behind the door made it clear at a glance that this place led to the human world.

The other road is on the left side of this road.

It seemed like an out-of-place presence that shouldn't have been there.

The road was lined with twisted purple flames, as thin and sharp as thorns.

Within those purple flames, it seemed as if endless darkness was writhing, trying to climb out of the flames with decaying arms.

An atmosphere of deathly silence and chaos filled the road, as if it led to some dark place.

It gives off an unsettling and strange feeling at first glance.

If people were to choose between these two paths, most would obviously choose the one that leads to the light.

At this moment, Erica stood still, carefully looking back and forth at the road on both sides.

The chaotic path on the left is clearly not a good place to go.

Clearly, the passage that extends upwards is the true exit from the underworld.

But she still needed to see Victor's opinion, since Professor Victor clearly knew more than she did.

"Professor Victor, which way should we go?"

At this moment, Victor's gaze also darted back and forth between the two roads.

He knew perfectly well where the road on the left led.

"The chaotic world, the beginning."

"He didn't come for you."

Hearing Viktor's mutterings, Erica felt a sense of confusion welling up inside her.

What is Professor Victor saying?

What do you mean by "not coming for her"? And what exactly is the "Primordial Space"?

As she wondered what was happening, she saw Victor fix his gaze on the bright path to his right.

Then, his voice rang out calmly:

"By following this path, you can escape the abyss and leave this true hell."

"You will return as a living person, and no one will stop you."

Because hell is completely empty.

Whether it is Erebus, who dwells in the abyss, or Tartarus, who represents hell,
