The cross-shaped windows in the corridor let in shimmering light, making the corridor walls appear even more brilliant and dazzling.
The slanting sunlight and shadows intertwined, drawing a clear line of light and shadow that passed through the maids standing respectfully on both sides of the corridor.
They wore black and white maid outfits made of silk, their hands clasped tightly together in front of their lower abdomens, and bowed respectfully.
Everyone bowed low, leaning forward at almost a 90-degree angle.

She wore a solemn and majestic, thick gold gown, the long skirt trailing intricately across the red carpet in the center of the corridor.

Behind her long dress, a gossamer-thin cloak flowed down from her shoulders.
The light reflected from the corridor trembled gently on the red carpet.
The woman's face was calm, and her straight, fair neck was adorned with dazzling pearls.
Those eyes, fixed on the road ahead, exuded the dignity and majesty of a king.
Every breath, every step, every movement exudes an air of detached superiority.
Ten years later,
Empress Aurelion has long since shed her former naiveté and has truly grown into a leader of the empire.
The guards and servants who should have been following behind Aurelion were replaced by a maid with long cat ears.

Xiang Zilan lowered her head and respectfully replied, "Yes."
Then, she watched as the Empress slowly walked through the slowly opening gate.
Until the door closed quietly, concealing her figure.
Vanilla stood at the door, looking at the closed gate again, a sense of loss welling up in her heart.
Just like His Majesty's reaction, she also had the same doubts when she received this news.
