It was a giant dragon, a winding and enormous dragon.
Its body was covered with scales that intertwined dark and pale colors.
Arcs of electricity filled the surrounding area, and dark purple light danced among its mane.
And atop that radiant head, a curved, enormous horn stands out in particular.
Lord of Chaos Storms
Upon seeing this thing, Koko felt dizzy.
"ah?"
She was extremely familiar with this thing.
Storm Dragon King and Chaos Dragon King are both monsters that appear in Endymion.
Its unique abilities have caused headaches for many mages who go to Endymion.
Although they were all defeated by Victor in the end.
But soon, Kokot heard Victor continue:
"The Storm Dragon King possesses the ability to transform into magic; as long as the magic is continuous, it can resurrect indefinitely."
“I have already verified this in the ‘copies’ I have created.”
At this point, Kokot felt a surge of emotion, recalling the hardships and pain she had endured helping Victor create those copies.
No wonder those 'people' who were put into the dungeon back then were resurrected after they died.
Victor sized up the terrifying monster before him, watching the swirling chaos around its body, and spoke:
"The Chaos Dragon King can absorb any power indiscriminately, and any creature it kills will become part of its power."
“Mix their powers together, and then let the ‘creative’ power of the Tree of Adrien be passed down through generations.”
"We can then obtain warriors who will not die and can continuously grow stronger."
Upon hearing this, Cocotte shuddered.
She never imagined that Viktor had combined these three things for this reason!
No wonder Victor sought her help; no wonder Victor stirred up trouble throughout the capital.
Because this secret must never be known to anyone outside!
He wanted to keep everyone from paying attention to him while he quietly accumulated power behind the scenes.
Most importantly...
"You've been preparing for all of this for the past ten years?"
Viktor responded calmly:
"I've always been in the habit of making thorough preparations in advance."
As soon as he finished speaking, a dark green light suddenly burst forth from his body.
As a thick, ghostly mist rose, his body, engulfed in eerie green flames, transformed into a terrifying skeleton.
The eerie green flames danced in his empty eye sockets, and a chilling cold permeated the surrounding air.
In an instant, the space behind Viktor also began to float.
Cocotte's eyes widened as he stared intently at the unusual movement:
An ancient door decorated with skulls appeared out of thin air behind him.
A skull was carved in the center of the door, its cold aura pouring out from its eye sockets.
boom--
The gates of the underworld roared open, revealing two large stone doors.
From the blue mist that followed, the aura of a million souls emanated.
Victor stretched out a hand, and in his skeletal hand he held a fluttering, pale ghost.
His voice was incredibly incoherent, and his eyes were illuminated by a dense, ghostly fire.
"The Tree of Adriatic needs someone to stay inside in order to create the corresponding race."
"So now, I will serve as the prototype for 'humanity'."
The eerie green flames flickered gently before Kokot's eyes, reflecting a faint green hue in her gaze.
"You provide the natural energy to create humankind."
What we need is a million people.
...
As night falls, the stars and the moon take turns creating a tranquil scene in the night sky.
As all things gradually fall asleep, the moonlight radiates tranquility and peace upon the world.
A pale blue light quietly bloomed in the corridor of the mansion.
The simple teleportation array, like an ancient incantation, was outlined in the air above the corridor in the stillness.
Viktor was gently enveloped by a stream of pale blue light and slowly straightened up.
Before us was Lia's room.
He reached out his hand, ready to knock on the door, but his heart was filled with turmoil and he could hardly calm down.
Finally, he made up his mind and gently knocked on the door.
Thump.
After a soft knock, Lia's familiar voice came from inside the room.
"Please come in."
Victor pushed open the door and walked into the room.
Just as he was about to turn around and close the door, he suddenly felt someone rushing straight towards him.
Almost instinctively, Victor could easily dodge with a simple turn.
But he didn't.
The door was quickly pushed shut by a slender hand, forcing Victor's back to press against the door.
Lia stood in front of him, her hands braced against the door, her arms lightly wrapped around his shoulders.
She lowered her head slightly, avoiding direct eye contact with Viktor.
The pink nightgown dress hung loosely, and one shoulder strap slipped down with her movements, revealing a patch of snow-white skin.
The gentle moonlight shone obliquely through the window, illuminating her fair shoulders and revealing her graceful lines.
Although Victor couldn't see Lydia's expression, he could feel the slight tremor in her voice.
"I knew you would come."
Victor lowered his head, looking at the top of Leah's head, his hands unsure of what to do, and could only calmly say:
"Leah."
“I said we shouldn’t…”
"Shut up!"
She suddenly raised her head, her gaze resolutely locking onto Viktor's deep eyes.
