Like a fish swimming in the land, its entire body leaps out of the earth!
Its blood-stained maw completely swallowed the large number of monsters that were frantically fleeing on the ground.
Along with the surging swarm of void insects, it was swallowed up as well.
Finally, it leaped completely into the sky, twisting its dark purple body like a giant pillar supporting the heavens.
Its outstretched mandibles blotted out the sky, as if they could bite a deep crack in the high wall at any moment.
Finally, it reached the critical point at high altitude and plummeted down due to gravity.
The giant maw was aimed directly at Victor in front of him.
The whole incident happened in less than a second; at that time, almost no one had time to react.
Just as the giant beast's jaws were about to touch Victor and swallow him whole.
At that moment, everyone on the city wall stared wide-eyed in shock at the scene before them.
Its body stopped in mid-air.
It was as if it were controlled by an invisible magic, making it unable to move even slightly in the air.
Victor, however, seemed not to notice it at all, and leisurely passed through the giant beast's gaping maw.
Until he safely walked out of the giant mouth's range.
He lifted his foot and landed steadily.
Then, the shadow fell.
The sky seemed to be completely obscured, and shadows covered Victor and the giant beast.
This included everyone present; they all seemed unable to feel the sun's rays.
Everyone standing on the city wall was stunned.
They watched as Viktor walked effortlessly through the shadows, seemingly oblivious to the strange occurrences on the field.
What just happened?
Wait, a shadow!?
I was so shocked that no one else noticed.
And now they finally realize it.
Is the sky covered up?
Impossible. The size of that monster is just there; it could never block out the sun and cover the entire world.
So everyone looked up and gazed at the dark sky.
But as soon as my gaze fell upon the sky...
The brain eventually becomes unable to process the information at hand, leaving them completely stunned.
In their eyes, the sun, which was originally high in the sky, was obscured by a huge crack that tore the sky apart.
That crack appeared much larger than the fissure from which Viktor had previously summoned countless insects.
It was like a passage from another world, obscuring the sky that should have been sunny.
Immediately afterwards—
Buzz—!!!
A heavy, deafening roar descended from the heavens like the tolling of an ancient bell, its chaotic and distorted sound waves spreading across the entire land.
The dull sound pierced the eardrums of everyone present.
Only upon careful listening can one discern that this is not the sound of a musical instrument.
That is the sound of a heart beating endlessly.
In an instant, countless twisted and sharp claws appeared out of thin air.
They frantically scratched at the dark door, as if trying to tear it apart from all sides.
Before everyone's eyes, a magnificent, chaotic, and exquisitely beautiful palace appeared from the crack, seemingly about to pour out from it.
Suddenly, the palace began to collapse.
Countless pieces of flesh and blood spread and grew like vines, entwining themselves around the chaotic fragments of the palace.
As the heart pounded deeply, the palace began to twist and deform.
Skin and flesh gradually emerged from the aggregation of the terrifying creature.
Amidst a chaotic mass of flesh and blood, a stone slab of a door is placed atop the body.
The door seemed to be touched by nothingness, coming to life, with dense compound eyes squeezing out from its eerie patterns.
The utterly chaotic creature has finally been reassembled.
A boiling purple light erupted from the crack, as if to dye the entire sky a blood-red night.
Everyone stood atop the city wall, staring in disbelief at the scene.
They seemed to sense something terrifying and indescribable emanating from the crack.
Every inch of flesh and blood, every meridian in his body, became threads and puppets in the eyes of that mysterious being.
Immediately afterwards, countless twisted and chaotic tentacles stretched out from the crack.
Each tentacle was like a thick, massive pillar, stretching out restlessly and frantically.
They coiled around the giant beast in the air, forcing it to hover.
No, it no longer deserves to be called "giant".
Now, more tentacles pressed against the dark crack.
Despite the edges being covered in flesh and blood, the tentacles continued to twitch outwards, as if trying to completely pry open the door.
As the rift gradually widened, an extremely insane being emerged from between the flesh and the void.
It was an eye, yet it seemed to transcend the essence of an eye.
The pupils, seemingly composed of the combined eyes of countless creatures, were exposed.
They constantly merge and split, their cellular tissues intertwined like liquid.
The size of just one of its eyes far exceeded that of the leaping behemoth.
Then, the pupils in the center of the eyes became entangled, obscuring the entire sky.
From top to bottom, that eerie and blasphemous gaze seemed to engulf everything.
As the crack expanded further, a complete body finally struggled out of it.
It was a being that wielded hundreds or even thousands of twisted, fleshy tentacles, and in the center of its body was a wide-open, terrifying eye.
Under the astonished gazes of the crowd, that terrifying pupil began to tremble.
Its eyeballs rolled over, transforming into a gigantic maw capable of devouring everything.
