Chapter 654 Puffs

Outside the Magic Tower.

The enormous scarlet crocodile stirred up the iron filings flowing in the surrounding air, and slammed a massive fist down onto the ground.

boom!

The shockwaves spread outwards, and billowing dust rose into the air.

As the dust and smoke gradually dissipated, the crimson giant fist slowly rose.

It left a deep and wide crater in the ground.

Vladimir sat on the ground, legs naturally apart, hands supporting him on the ground, staring in disbelief.

He looked at the crimson giant fist that had just slammed between his legs and then risen again.

His pupils trembled, and his eyes were filled with disbelief and terror.

"Holy crap."

I never would have guessed that.

In his twilight years, he was still able to experience a cool sensation in his lower body.

If he hadn't reacted quickly, that terrible blow would have smashed him into a pulp.

Vladimir wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and looked up again at the enormous crocodile that resembled a tall building.

Even though he knew the other party was a demon, he could still read a kind of contempt for the weak in his eyes.

Was he being underestimated by the devil?

As a general of the empire, he should have remained calm.

But faced with this crocodile that was so blatantly provoking him, an uncontrollable rage ignited within him.

"A mere crawler..."

Vladimir hadn't finished speaking.

The next second, another giant fist pierced the sky like thunder, smashing the towering earthen wall to pieces.

The towering earthen wall that pierced the earth was once again pierced by the giant fist.

Sand and gravel flew, dust rose, and the crimson giant fist fell on Vladimir once more.

Meanwhile, the soldiers on the distant city walls were alerted by the tremors near the Demon Tower.

They all lay prone on the city wall, their eyes fixed on the distance, their brows furrowed.

The soldiers' anxious expressions clearly revealed their inner worries.

"Your Grace, aren't we going to provide support?!"

Hearing the words of the soldiers around him, Reeves' expression turned serious.

He gazed into the distance, gritted his teeth, and forced out a sentence:

"We can't go, that's a demon!"

Levi hadn't expected that the other side would release demons to prevent them from getting close to the magic tower.

This, in turn, confirmed Reeves's suspicion that the other party only wanted to meet with Victor.

Upon hearing Duke Reeves' words, the surrounding soldiers gaped in astonishment.

The appearance of that enormous, scarlet crocodile had already left everyone present completely bewildered.

Duke Reeves then exclaimed, "That's a demon!"

Most soldiers have been stationed on the southern border of the empire for many years and have heard many legends about demons.

I've even heard rumors that the former second prince colluded with demons.

However, they had never seen what a real demon looked like.

There has been no official explanation of the demon's appearance, and most people can only describe the details through oral accounts.

And many more people spread their impressions of demons based on hearsay.

As a result, the image of the demon is varied in folk legends.

Some say it's a ferocious demon, others say it's an indescribable monster.

Now, upon closer inspection, the image of the demon is quite different from what they had in mind.

This is actually an animal that has been magnified countless times!

Seeing the reactions of the border guards around him, Rivlin took a deep breath and tried to explain in a calm tone:

"Demons can absorb negative human emotions, thereby becoming more powerful."

"If we go there rashly, it will only make it more difficult to deal with."

To defeat the demon, never try to rely on sheer numbers.

Otherwise, a demon that has absorbed a great deal of emotion could easily bring a devastating disaster upon the people.

Upon hearing this, the soldiers were filled with turmoil, and fear and tension filled the air.

Despite their resentment at the Duke's decision, the soldiers knew that confronting the devil was no easy task.

After all, it sounds like this thing is beyond human capability.

Just then, a soldier holding binoculars suddenly exclaimed in surprise:

"Quick! Look over there!"

With this shout, everyone's attention was once again drawn to the distant battlefield.

The scene before them undoubtedly stirred up a storm in everyone's hearts.

The giant fist of the scarlet crocodile did not leave a deep crater in the ground as they had expected.

Upon closer inspection, they could even see that the enormous fist was only very close to the ground.

Despite the crocodile's exertion of all its strength, its thick arms trembling, it could not lower itself even an inch further.

Suddenly, a pale and intensely cold aura rose from the ground beneath the demonic tower.

The sharp ice spikes, like blooming petals, rose up from the earth with a roar.

In the center of this ice-crystal-covered ground, a layer of broken ice had already been laid out.

A dense, pale aura emanated from the sharp ice spikes all around, coiling around Vladimir on the ground.

He stood with his legs apart, one in front of the other.

A red glow emanated from beneath his skin, his muscles tensed, and he continuously released intense power.

His hands were tightly wrapped in icicles that exuded a chilling aura.

Vladimir spread his fingers and clenched his fists, forcefully blocking the demon's attack.

On the city wall, the soldiers stared wide-eyed.

Speechless with shock, only a profound sense of awe resonated within them.

Holy crap, he's really good at fighting.

Seeing this, Levi breathed a slight sigh of relief.
