Kokot sat in the chair next to Victor.
She kept her legs tightly closed and her hands clenched into fists on her knees, looking very uncomfortable.
His gaze darted nervously around him, a stiff, awkward smile appearing on his face.
Seeing the curious looks from Revi and Vladimir, Kokot tried to lower his head and pretend to be nonchalant.
I felt really awkward.
Not understanding why she felt this way, Kokot had never cared about other people's opinions.
Let others think what they want about her; Cocote just wants to sleep.
In truth, she herself didn't even know why she felt awkward.
She had just been hanging on Viktor's body normally, and even exchanged a couple of words with him.
Unexpectedly, he suddenly became the focus of everyone's attention.
Will Victor blame her?
And what's with that woman in front of me? Her gaze is so annoying.
Cocotte could always feel a particularly jealous gaze fixed on her.
Just then, Rivi and Vladimir finally looked away from their scrutinizing gazes.
Vladimir even asked in an inquiring tone:
"This must be... the former member of the Mage Council, the Elf Queen of the Elf Forest, Kokot Yad, right?"
Upon hearing Vladimir's address, Kokot immediately perked up.
He was no longer as guilty, and his back straightened up.
He added a couple of hums, full of confidence and pride, and said:
“That’s right, I am Kokot Yad.”
Upon hearing the other party's admission, Vladimir felt somewhat incredulous and turned to look at Rivi beside him.
Levi closed his eyes, sighed, and nodded helplessly.
Is that Kokot Yad? The leader of the elves, the Elf Queen!?
Considering his age, Kokote was several sizes older than Vladimir and the others.
After all, they are human, while Kokot is an elf.
So, what happened to that little girl who was sitting on Viktor's lap earlier, begging for praise?
Is she the former member of the Mage Council, that mysterious Elf Queen?
"I forgot to mention, this Elf Queen is also the chief professor at the Royal Magic Academy—after Victor left."
After saying this, Rivi exchanged a glance with Vladimir, who had turned around.
The same thought flashed through my mind at the same time.
Well, the mere fact that Kokot Yad was summoned by Victor and appeared here wouldn't have caused these two to react this way.
However, just before Coco appeared, Victor said something.
'I have quite a few fans.'
Then, Cocote happened to appear.
That's not all. As soon as the elf appeared, it ignored everyone and jumped onto Viktor.
Such intimate behavior, coupled with Viktor's words just now.
It's hard not to make certain associations.
Rivi read this sentence in Vladimir's eyes.
'This kid's a bit of a jerk, maybe we should just forget about him.'
Vladimir read the message Rivi wanted to convey in his eyes.
'I never intended for Erica to be with him.'
After quickly exchanging glances, the two looked away and casually straightened their postures again.
Looking at Cocotte, whose back had suddenly straightened, Reeves slowly began to ask:
"Then, what brings Queen Kokot here?"
Kokot didn't like the title "Queen," so she corrected her, saying:
“You should just call me Councilor, Duke Reeves.”
"Although I am no longer a member of parliament."
Then, she glanced at Viktor and said in a slightly lazy tone:
“Victor asked me to come, but I don’t know the specific reason.”
But Viktor appeared unusually calm in front of everyone, seemingly unaffected by what had just happened.
He simply said calmly:
"As I just said, I'm leaving, so I can't help you."
At this point, Revi and Vladimir blinked, seemingly understanding what Viktor meant.
At the same time, Kokot felt a weight on his head, as if a slight force was pressing down on him.
It was Victor's hand gently placed on the top of her head.
Then, Victor continued:
"So I called Cocotte over."
"This Elf Queen is fully capable of helping you improve the environment in the south."
Rivne and Vladimir instantly realized what was happening, and were even overjoyed.
That's right, elves!
They originally just wanted Viktor to help with afforestation, since it would be a piece of cake for him.
But they forgot one thing: elves do this job too!
You have to admit, Viktor is really something; he even managed to seduce the Elf Queen.
If they were to seek help from the Elf Queen, she certainly wouldn't agree.
In an instant, Vladimir felt relieved about his earlier thoughts.
Forget about being a jerk, young people should have this kind of ability!
But Cocote's eyes were filled with clear-eyed stupidity.
She blinked, then looked at Victor, then at the two smiling old men beside him.
"Goose?"
She felt a sense of being inexplicably sold out.
...
The gentle sunlight shone on the land of Kushistan.
In the slightly chilly spring, the climate in places like the south is quite warm.
Taking advantage of the clear weather, Victor strolled leisurely outside the city with his hands in his pockets.
Beyond the city walls, the southern land was desolate, with only a huge meteorite embedded in a giant crater in the earth.
