Above the sky, two figures, one in black and one in white, moved swiftly through the night.
The chaotic night sky and the erratic streaks of light in the air intertwined and overlapped, constantly unleashing a mysterious and magnificent power.
Gwen, radiating a holy light, was closely watching Vega, who was standing in front of her with a slightly provocative gaze.
She flapped her large wings behind her incessantly, transforming into a pale shooting star as she streaked across the clouds.
A flash of white light streaked across the sky, followed by a deafening explosion that reverberated across the earth.
Then, a shockwave that seemed to pierce the earth followed closely behind.
It followed the path of 'Gwen's' body, overturning and plowing up large swaths of collapsed soil once more.
Similarly, Vega, being chased by 'Gwen', tumbled through the air.
Using the power of darkness, he seemed to disappear into the pitch black, transforming into a ghostly phantom that drifted in the high sky.
The figure that sped past didn't even stir up the slightest ripple; its speed was so fast that the air couldn't even react.
The two grappled in mid-air, with 'Gwen' following closely behind Vega, constantly wielding her sharp blade.
The dazzling light burst forth instantly, like a sharp blade slicing through the night in the darkness.
But each time, the flying light blade tore through space and crashed into Vega's body.
The opponent would then transform into a chaotic swarm of crows, like shadows, flying in all directions, even passing by her.
Once pulled to a safe position, the crows will regroup and reshape Vega's hazy body.
Vega weaved through the air while dodging the attacks that 'Gwen' kept unleashing.
Seeing that she had failed to hit herself several times in a row, she couldn't help but laugh out loud:
"Oh dear, she really is a lowly goddess."
Hearing Vega's taunts, 'Gwen' remained expressionless and silent.
However, the intense divine power emanating from her body did not diminish; she continued to swiftly swing the sharp blade in her hand, fiercely slashing at Vega.
Vega, who had transformed into a phantom, easily swayed his body and dodged all the incoming light blades.
Watching them sink into the darkness, I couldn't help but burst into mockery once again:
"Are you angry? Well, that makes sense."
"My divine messengers killed all of my supposedly hundreds of millions of believers and sent them to me as sacrifices."
"You really are quite pathetic."
'Gwen' listened to the noise around her with a calm expression.
Then, he slightly tightened his grip on the sword blade, gathered divine power from his arms, and slashed forward fiercely.
Whoosh—!
A sharp glint of light swept across the sky, tearing a bright crack through the pitch-black night.
The next second, the rapidly moving light streaked across the space and crashed directly into Vega's body.
Buzz!
In an instant, half of Vega's shadowy body was cut off.
The upper body remained suspended in mid-air, while the other half transformed into a flurry of black feathers after the light swept past, drifting down lightly.
Then, 'Gwen' remained in a slashing stance, coldly watching Vega, who had lost half his body, stand frozen in mid-air.
His voice was cold and sharp as he spoke:
"You're talking too much."
At this moment, Priscilla, who was hiding behind the divine tree and watching the battle, was so shocked that her eyes widened.
How can someone who's been hacked to pieces survive?
But then she thought about it, and realized that vampires are a race that can be resurrected even with only a drop of blood left, so she felt that there was nothing wrong with it.
A mere fatal wound!
As expected, the black goddess in the sky readjusted her movements again.
She glanced down at her half-disappeared body, then reached out and gently tugged at the tattered hem of her skirt.
The next second, she tore off a piece of the chaotic, silent black night sky and attached it to her missing body.
In the blink of an eye, Vega's body returned to normal.
The patch of night that had just been torn away was gradually filled back by the surrounding darkness.
Looking at 'Gwen's' sharp, cold eyes, Vega sneered again:
"Getting impatient?"
"Hehe~ Anyway, you can't kill me."
She retreated again, disappearing once more into the night, which was as deep as a pool.
Then, the dim sky became fragmented, with countless tiny cracks appearing from the darkness.
It was as if countless ferocious eyes were turning their pupils and converging on 'Gwen'.
Tens of thousands of dense gazes converged, distant and eerie, penetrating to the very marrow like worms.
Immediately afterwards, countless anxious lights shot out from the chaotic pupils in the sky.
Buzz!
The next second, a sharp, piercing light burst forth, and the deep darkness seemed to pierce through the empty sky like a venomous snake.
As the light streaked through, the chaotic power shattered the surrounding space, and countless sharp buzzing sounds echoed in the darkness.
With the bursting of air and the rise of a violent shockwave, the sky above Shulburn seemed to transform into a giant cage woven from dark threads.
They gathered together and surged toward 'Gwen,' whose body radiated a holy light.
This scene left Priscilla, who was hiding far behind the sacred tree, dazzled and dizzy.
"Is Miss Gwen...is she alright?"
This level of combat made her feel that even the slightest touch could cause her to be instantly vaporized, leaving not a single drop of blood behind.
She was on edge, watching the battle unfold before her with extreme caution, so tense that she almost held her breath.
Suddenly, however, she felt a hand gently placed on her shoulder.
