Kokot said "Oh," and nonchalantly put the berry that he had just stuffed into Viktor's mouth into his own.
Seeing this, Viktor frowned slightly.
Kokot, who was happily eating, looked at him while chewing on the berries and said:
"What, would you like to try some?"
"Although it was originally meant for you."
She glanced down at the half-eaten fruit in her hand, then at Victor, and suddenly seemed to remember something.
She decisively stuffed the remaining half of the fruit into her mouth, and before Victor could react, she pressed herself against him.
Suddenly, a soft touch came over me.
Viktor's eyes widened as he tasted the juice, infused with the sweet aroma of fruit, entering his mouth.
Then, Cocotte grinned and separated them, licking his lips.
"Is it delicious?"
Upon hearing Cocotte's question, Victor hesitated, unsure whether he should spit out the fruit.
Spitting it out seems rather impolite.
So he chewed it casually, but eventually swallowed it.
The sweetness of the fruit slowly spread in my mouth.
It's very sweet.
With his mouth finally free to speak, Viktor remained silent for a moment before continuing his questioning:
"Are you... alright?"
"A goose? What could possibly happen to me?"
Cocotte responded, puzzled, as he pulled out a second tree fruit from his pocket and quickly took two bites.
Then he continued:
"I don't need to commit suicide to help you revive the calamity. Wouldn't it be a waste to do that?"
"Even though you gave me this life..."
Then, Kokot, seeing Viktor deep in thought, offered his explanation:
"Don't worry about it. I just borrowed energy from the natural world and helped you without permission in the name of the Elf Queen."
"The price is the disappearance of the six major areas, and the Elf Forest may be freely entered and exited by others in the future."
When Cocotte got to this point, she shrugged helplessly, but judging from her expression, she didn't seem too disappointed.
Upon hearing this, Viktor finally realized what was happening.
But still uncertain, he couldn't help but ask one more question:
Why are you helping me like this?
What do you think?
Upon hearing Viktor's words, Koko chuckled.
At that moment, Viktor was slightly taken aback.
As Kokot's smile appeared, a sudden message box lit up in front of him:
[Achievement Completed - Elf Liberator - 100%]
Immediately afterwards, Cocotte's slightly playful voice rang in his ears:
"Kid, even though I've lived for hundreds of years..."
"But you insist that I say 'I like you'."
A ray of sunlight pierced through the swaying leaves at just the right moment, illuminating Kokot's smile, a mixture of relief and helplessness.
Simple, sincere, and pure.
"I can be shy too."
