"Remember our purpose: we are here to find the Archmage."
Although the Archmage is not present in the storylines of Dark Archmage and the Calamity of Wood,
But Viktor knew that the Archmage was still hiding in this world.
This is also part of the second playthrough in the story.
The archmage did not affect the progress of the main storyline, so no NPCs in the story knew that he had always been there.
After the start of the second playthrough, the player, as the hero who helps defeat all the gods, is allowed to enter any corner of the game map.
This includes places that were previously inaccessible due to storyline restrictions or that required special items to access.
For example, deep within the Mage Council lies the Hall of Heroes, known only to a select few.
For players, the Hall of Heroes may not have any other functions, but it has a unique significance.
Challenge the "strongest in history".
The Archmage will be waiting in Valhalla in the guise of "Master Turtle".
Players need to challenge the strongest players from different eras, starting from the lowest level and progressing to the highest.
The difficulty and strength of each strong person are completely different.
The final boss of Valhalla is someone every player is familiar with but has never truly challenged – "Young Aubrey".
But whether Aubrey was at his peak is unknown.
Similarly, it is unclear whether he is still the invincible Emperor Aubrey in the hearts of players.
However, the fact that the opponent appeared as a boss in Valhalla has indeed given countless hardcore players a lot of hope.
After all, the players' desire to challenge this emperor, which they had held since the very beginning of the game, can finally be fulfilled.
After players have gone through countless hardships to defeat this seemingly invincible emperor, it will be time to challenge the archmage.
Viktor felt a pang of nostalgia, recalling the storyline he had played countless times, and continued casually:
Let's go.
"Now that all the characters have arrived, it's time for us to wrap things up."
Victor turned casually, his black trench coat drawing an elegant arc in the air.
As a wisp of black mist quietly dissipated, his figure vanished.
...
Inside Haijal.
The pitch-black flames roared and exploded like a raging beast.
The mages covered their faces with their hands in the darkness to prevent the flames, imbued with a dark aura, from burning their eyes.
However, they did not experience the expected pain.
As the cold, desolate ripples swept across their bodies, countless mages couldn't help but open their eyes.
The sight before them made everyone's eyes widen:
The entire space seemed to be consumed by darkness, and the once lush forest turned into light fragments of dark matter.
The ground was violently bombarded and cracked open, turning into rocks and dust that scattered in all directions.
Even the space itself was slightly distorted, appearing unusually stagnant and eerie.
At this moment, the floor below has been completely penetrated, revealing the deep sky beneath.
Broken fragments of darkness floated in the air, enveloped by a purple net-like structure that firmly sealed off the sky below.
In the distance, the sacred tree located inside Hyjal has been isolated.
The monks all seemed to realize something and turned their gazes forward.
In mid-air, Aurelion had broken free of her restraints and was standing panting on a broken piece of floating rock.
Meanwhile, the Dark Archmage was also in poor condition.
The head on both sides drooped down again, as if all the strength in the body had been drained, and the huge body rested against the giant tree of Hyjal.
I underestimated Aurelion.
Despite the powerful magic, Aurelion managed to break free from the shackles of darkness by using the magic that enveloped her body.
They broke free of the shackles that held them back and seized the opportunity to launch an attack on her.
Similarly, Erica knew that she had overestimated herself.
She hadn't originally intended to destroy Hyjal, but the power of that magic was so astonishing that she could barely control it.
While striving to control the power of magic, any moment of carelessness towards Aurelione will give her an opening.
Erica has not fully recovered yet.
Although conscious, the body felt extremely exhausted, making even the thought of moving a limb difficult.
However, Aurelion has largely recovered.
The Forge of Eternity granted her powerful regenerative abilities, allowing Aurelione to recover her condition in just a few breaths.
She stood up, her gaze sharp as she stared at the dark archmage before her.
"No matter who you really are."
Aurelion clenched her fist, and pure magic gathered around it, forming a phantom gas.
She traversed the void step by step, steadily advancing towards the Dark Archmage.
In the end, I won.
A resolute glint flashed in Aurelion's eyes as she raised her fist, drawing a brilliant path of light in the air, preparing to slam it down.
Wow!
This scene caused everyone present to hold their breath, their silence filled with anticipation.
Suddenly, however, a dark beam of black light tore through the pitch-black void.
Twisted by an invisible force, the light transformed into a sharp blade, slamming into Aurelion's resolute punch.
Aurelion watched as the darkness before her exploded, her fist receiving a powerful impact.
With the angle shifted, the pure power unleashed out of thin air slipped out of control.
Like a shockwave, it smashed through the surrounding floating dark matter and shattered a floating rock in mid-air.
Aurelion was forced to retract her fist and quickly retreat.
He stood firmly on a floating rock, his eyes sharp, instinctively searching for any trace of the intruder.
Just as she and the other mages were filled with curiosity, pondering the origin of this mysterious magic.
"Don't move."
Immediately afterwards, a calm and composed voice came from high above, reaching everyone's ears.
Upon hearing this voice, countless mages looked up in shock.
Aurelion also shuddered and looked in the direction of the sound.
A black mist pierced through the air, slowly drifting by with the swirling wind.
In the hazy light, Viktor's figure gradually came into view.
He stood before the Dark Archmage, hands in his pockets.
The black trench coat fluttered in the wind, seemingly blending into the surrounding darkness.
His deep, obsidian-like eyes remained calm and composed.
"Unless you want to see the entire Endymion crash and burn,"
Otherwise, don't move.
