Chapter 842 The Doting Daughter Requests to Join the Battle

Erica felt extremely annoyed every time she thought about this.

Although those two old councilors didn't understand the young girl's delicate emotions,

However, Erica's emotional state is still quite obvious at the moment, and they can still tell it at a glance.

Erica was clearly angry.

Heim Horn felt a headache coming on and muttered a few curses to himself at Victor.

He can't even manage his own students properly, let an old man like him clean up the mess.

You're really something, Victor.

However, now that things have come to this, he feels it would be better to explain things to Erica.

Heim Horn pondered for a moment.

He didn't really understand human emotions, then turned to look at Rachel beside him, his eyes filled with a question.

"Why don't you speak?"

After all, Raschel was also human.

Rachel: "..."

"well,"

Sensing Heim Horn's attempt to shift the blame, he sighed helplessly, leaned slightly on his cane, and said to Erica:

Let's go.

Erica gradually came to her senses, and her inner displeasure was slowly overshadowed by curiosity.

She turned to Rachel and asked:

Where to?

"There's someone who wants to see you... well, you should want to see him too."

Upon hearing this, Erica gradually understood.

She asked directly, after a brief silence:

"Professor Victor... hasn't left yet?"

The parliament hall was very well soundproofed, so she wasn't worried that anyone else in the hall would hear her.

But these words made Haim Horn's eyes widen in surprise, and he looked at Rachel in shock.

That expression seemed to be questioning, 'How did you know?'

Did Victor and Rachel really reach some kind of secret agreement?

After all, such questions are hard to avoid.

Even he didn't know that Victor was still in the Mage Council, so where did Rachel get this information from?

Upon hearing this, Rachel responded simply:

"You'll know when we get there."

Seeing that Rachel didn't say anything, Erica nodded.

She wasn't worried that the old dean would deceive her.

After all, in this council of mages, besides Professor Victor, she was only relatively familiar with Rachel.

As for Heim Horn, his square head makes him look like no good person.

Who can see what a good person looks like?

In short, she was still dissatisfied with the scheming of these congressmen.

Therefore, he didn't have a good impression of Haim Horn.

Immediately afterwards, Rachel, leaning on his cane, gently tapped the ground.

The next second, a surge of azure magic, like a flowing current, emerged from the space around Rachel.

His robes fluttered lightly in mid-air.

Then, enveloped in azure magic, a crystal gate flowing with blue magic slowly rose behind Rachel.

The gate gleamed in the sunlight, its brilliance reflecting off the three of them.

The door slowly opened, and a chilly breeze wafted out.

Rachel turned around, facing the gentle, chilly breeze, and slowly stepped through the doorway ahead.

"Keep up."

Upon hearing the reminder, Erica immediately adjusted her expression and followed suit.

Her body was quickly enveloped in dense blue mist and then disappeared from sight.

The cold wind suddenly reversed just before the door was about to close, completely swallowed by the azure mist, and gently swept past Heim Horn.

As the crystal doors quietly closed, the light, floating magic quickly dissipated into nothingness.

For a moment, only Heim Horn remained, bewildered and disoriented, at the very top of the shattered sky.

In this vast sky, he could only look up at the dreamlike city of Endymion.

Apart from pumice, there was nothing else there.

Fortunately, loneliness didn't stay with him for long.

The council doors slowly opened again, and a young man in golden armor walked out.

Heim Horn suppressed his emotions and turned to greet the other person:

"Emperor Auberley".

"It seems you've finished your conversation?"

Noticing Aubrey's smile, Haim Horn speculated that the father and daughter must have had a pleasant conversation.

The other person nodded, but did not respond.

They simply walked silently, step by step, through the cracked and mottled physical space.

It felt as if we were stepping on invisible rocks, heading towards a higher place in the shattered sky.

Heim Horn watched silently as Aubrey rose higher and higher.

Then, as Aubrey ascended into the sky, he looked up at the symbol of Endymion.

The three broken heads, and the endless rings of floating rocks and stones that surround them.

He took a deep breath, his voice carrying the majesty of an emperor, and slowly said:

“Victor, he is indeed a good teacher.”

Heim Horn did not answer.

After all, strictly speaking, Viktor was indeed a competent teacher.

He was particularly outstanding in helping the Queen grow.

Aubrey wholeheartedly agreed; his daughter had indeed grown a lot.

However, this growth comes at the cost of immense suffering.

Although Aubrey had a premonition, he still felt heartbroken when he actually faced his daughter.

Even when he learned that his eldest son, Albany, had been killed in a border battle, this tough man's heart became exceptionally heavy.

What father wouldn't care about his children?

However, what truly made him realize that Aurelion had grown was that sentence she said.
