Chapter 848 Do I look more like a human or a god?

"In order to effectively enforce justice, any means necessary are acceptable."

“This is something that Teacher Victor taught me.”

Viktor, look at the rubbish you've taught!

Liya was speechless after hearing this.

Nevertheless, she maintained her aggressive attitude and continued to question the goddess of justice.

“You haven’t answered my question yet. It is unjust to be married without the title of husband and wife. You said that yourself.”

Lia snorted coldly, watching as the Goddess of Justice continued speaking:

"Both Victor and I acknowledge Gwen as his wife."

"And you are not Gwen."

The implication of these words is obvious.

Lia cannot accept the goddess of justice.

Trying to replace Gwen and become Gwen?

That's absolutely impossible, even if the goddess of justice now shows more humanity.

No matter what, she couldn't do it.

Hearing Lia's words, Henney and Priscilla nodded in agreement.

However, the goddess of justice then turned her head and scanned Lia and Heni beside her.

Then he asked:

"Then why do you think Gwen would definitely accept you?"

"..."

The goddess of justice has now clearly possessed more humanity.

At this point, her way of thinking was becoming more and more like that of a human, rather than that of a cold and indifferent deity.

After all, if it were the goddess of justice from before, she would never have thought of such an answer.

Then, the goddess of justice continued:

"If you can only accept Gwen as Viktor's wife, then why do you keep getting close to Viktor and clinging to him?"

"Or do you have ulterior motives?"

These words silenced both Henney and Lia.

Only Priscilla was puzzled, wondering what this had to do with getting close to her father.

While the two remained silent, the Goddess of Justice stood up again, walked to the French windows, and gazed out.

She stood by the window on a high floor, facing a clear and bright blue sky.

White clouds drifted by gently, draping the pure blue sky in veils of white.

Looking directly into the distance, Gwen slowly began to speak:

"I will use her body to accomplish two goals."

A mission belonging to her alone, the mission of a goddess of justice.

"Cleanse all the gods, finally."

Then fulfill Gwen's own human wish:

"She officially married Victor."

At this point, Gwen's voice suddenly softened.

A determined glint flashed in her calm eyes as she gazed at the scenery outside.

As she finished speaking, the once clear sky was suddenly covered by a thick layer of dark clouds.

The light white clouds were quickly dispersed and disappeared without a trace.

Meanwhile, bright yellow lightning, like trembling worms, scurried and rolled beneath the oppressive black clouds.

Continuous arcs of electricity erupted, and a muffled roar came from high above.

It roared like the mournful cry of a wild beast, making the glass of the entire high-rise building vibrate.

A flash of light, a sudden burst of thunder.

Surrounded by a barrage of lightning, Zeus appeared, wielding thunderbolts and wearing a crown.

His arrival seemed to plunge the entire city of Shulburn into a heavy atmosphere, dull and oppressive.

A chaotic darkness enveloped the room, with only a faint, elusive light allowing glimpses of the city's countless skyscrapers to appear intermittently.

As an incredibly sharp beam of light cleaved down from the center of the dark clouds, the entire skyscraper of Shulburn was illuminated for a long time.

Gwen slowly turned her head, looked at the silent Leah, and spoke with her face still expressionless:

“I understand your dislike for me. If it were just you, you wouldn’t have come to me on your own initiative.”

"So, if you have the chance, please pass this message on to him."

The sharp helmet that concealed her eyes covered her face again amidst the fluctuations of light, and her armor once again emitted a faint fluorescent glow.

Suddenly, the wings behind it unfolded, each feather seemingly stirring and trembling, releasing a shimmering light.

“I think I know you’re using me.”

"But you taught me not to live solely for justice."

The window seemed to sense Gwen's intention and opened automatically.

In an instant, a fierce gust of wind surged into the room like a coiled dragon, knocking over the glass bottle on the table and making the whole room howl.

The goddess of justice turned her head to face the clashing thunder and storm.

With a flap of its wings, it transformed into a streak of light and shot towards the sky.

As the goddess of justice departed, Lia quickly realized what was happening.

She quickly stood up and walked towards the open window.

Ignoring the collision of wind and letting the storm whip her clothes around.

She gazed into the distance, watching the goddess of justice bathed in thunder fade into the distance like a shooting star.

In the end, only a voice filled with human emotion remained, carried by the gale to Leah's ears:

"Thank you for your careful guidance."
