The surging thunder, like a torrential downpour, raged through the rolling sea of clouds.
The terrifying lightning bolts opened their enormous, abyss-like mouths and roared out of the shadows, spewing down onto the earth.
Beams of light filled the space, and the chaotic sky was shrouded in lightning.
The wind and waves twisted and swayed amidst countless streaks of lightning, breaking through the darkness and flowing upstream against the clouds.
The entire arena seemed to be engulfed by madness, and even the boundless darkness expanded further, as if trying to fill every inch of the city.
At this moment, countless spectators in the stadium all looked up at the sky.
They stood there silently and blankly, letting the strange sights before their eyes shake their very souls.
The thunder of the riot continued to ripple and fall towards the surrounding audience seats.
Countless spectators were on edge, their hearts pounding with each strike of the thunderbolt.
Watching the lightning fall like raindrops, wandering freely across the invisible wall before quickly dissipating, I felt no peace in my heart.
The barrier constructed by the Council of Mages is of truly exceptional quality.
Even the chaotic divine lightning could not penetrate the barrier in the slightest.
The light filled the audience's lifeless pupils, and the chaotic shock made everyone feel small and insignificant.
The riots in Thunder not only brought real-world dangers,
A small group of mages in the audience could clearly feel that even the magic in the air was becoming extremely dangerous as the arcs of electricity passed through.
If someone uses magic in this environment
It's likely that before the magic can be unleashed, the frenzied magical power amplified by the electric arc will pierce through their flesh and organs.
Unless they themselves possess enough magical reserves to contend with this chaos.
Even the goddess of justice in the sky was drawn to this strange phenomenon.
She raised her head, and even unconsciously placed her hand on the long sword at her waist, poised to strike.
Now Zeus appears high in the sky, engulfing the firmament.
To everyone else, he was no longer the righteous god bathed in golden holy light and filled with compassion.
Instead, he appears to have become the culprit behind the panic and madness.
Not only were countless spectators shocked, but even Poseidon in the center of the arena narrowed his eyes.
Looking up at Zeus, who had turned into dark clouds, I was filled with curiosity:
What exactly did he go through?
This shift seems illogical.
Even if Zeus lost his divinity due to an emotional breakdown, he shouldn't have acted in this state.
The scene before him made it seem as if Zeus had completely abandoned his divine dignity.
He unleashed his divine power to the world without limit, solely to achieve some unspeakable purpose.
Poseidon observed the lightning bolts that kept striking down in the arena, making it impossible for him to land, and looked puzzled.
Why did Zeus break through so easily after Hera said just one sentence?
Is this all the magnanimity he has, the king of gods?
Athena, on the other hand, is different from Poseidon.
She had been following Viktor around for quite some time and had a good understanding of their current situation.
That means they lost their divine body and were infected with a virus from an evil god.
And now, she has a vague, inexplicable sense of similarity to Zeus's current state.
Athena raised her shield from time to time to fend off the lightning bolts that darted in.
Her face was solemn as she looked up at the raging Zeus, a guess rising in her mind.
It seems that Zeus, like them, may have also been infected with that evil god's 'virus'.
Zeus initially accepted the faith of the goddess of justice's followers, along with her divine tokens.
It was suddenly 'spit out' from the sky, thus preserving its divine body.
Zeus, who possesses a divine body, is unlikely to be like these gods who do not have divine bodies, and thus clearly infected with the 'virus'.
After all, compared to Athena, who has an extra eye on her forehead.
Zeus's image, which could almost be described as 'pure,' is more like that of a true god.
Therefore, it was because Zeus lost his divine form that his body became touchable by humans.
That's what caused him to be in a state of being infected with a 'virus' now?
That shouldn't be the case either.
Athena's mind raced, and the surrounding lightning seemed to conspire to stop falling on her.
Although all the gods were infected with the same virus, none of them experienced symptoms as severe as Zeus.
Zeus's situation was more like a latent virus within him being fully activated, transforming him from a righteous god into an 'evil god'.
Athena could not understand why Zeus had fallen to such a state, but one thing was certain.
In the eyes of humans, Zeus has become a complete 'evil god'.
He transformed into a thunderstorm cloud that almost covered the entire vast sky, releasing pressure and terror upon the earth.
Whether they are gods or spectators, they all have to endure this indiscriminate thunder.
After experiencing numerous failures, Zeus's mind was completely thrown into chaos, his sanity shattered, and his spirit collapsed.
He had lost all will to maintain his divinity; all that remained was boundless hatred.
This is not just hatred directed at Viktor alone, but hatred directed at the entire world.
Boom! ...
A tremendous roar of thunder roared from Zeus's deep, cavernous throat, blowing against the wind and forcing everything to submit.
The sound waves shook the entire earth, causing dust to rise and fill the air.
Meanwhile, the thunder continued to assault the eardrums of all the spectators present.
The dense lightning struck the ground and erupted the instant it hit the earth, its thorny branches piercing the night and tearing apart the already fragile space.
As time went by, the once dazzling yellow faded, and the lightning bolts became covered with black scars, making them appear even more ferocious and chaotic.
