"I created magic, and all the mages in the world worship me!"
"Why shouldn't I sit on the throne of the God-King?"
Seeing this, Vega couldn't help but sneer again:
"Then what about Ragnarok, which you mentioned? What, are you planning to kill yourself too?"
Ragnarok? What does that mean?
The appearance of this unfamiliar word has left people all over the world puzzled.
They really didn't know what this term meant.
However, they don't need to know that much.
The high priest gave a soft "hmm," his gaze becoming even more solemn than before, before speaking:
"Ragnarok will surely come, and you, this evil god, will be slain."
“You old gods are the ones I will eliminate.”
Upon hearing this, countless viewers were unclear about the meaning of "Twilight of the Gods".
But they were still incredibly excited about the archmage's actions.
The surge of excitement dispelled the doubts in everyone's minds.
Their eyes were once again filled with a fervent light of hope, and countless people waved their arms high, loudly praising the Grand Master's supreme nobility.
The sounds of praise piled up one after another, and a continuous stream of songs and poems of praise came from all over the world.
The billions of golden rays converging towards the Grand Mage became even more intense.
Feeling the ever-growing golden power, the Grand Mage couldn't help but smile again:
"Look, the whole world is supporting me, what can you do?"
"You are nothing but an evil god. Even if you desire to gain faith, what means do you have?"
However, the archmage did not detect any anger in 'Victor's' expression; instead, he revealed a mocking smile.
It seemed the archmage's words were exactly what he had expected, and he asked disdainfully:
Have you said enough?
Upon hearing this, Odin's expression gradually calmed down, and he regained his composure and calmness.
He simply stared at 'Victor' in front of him, without showing much emotion.
"As expected, Odin, your purpose is nothing more than the ephemeral faith of this world."
"But have you ever considered that I was also deliberately helping you succeed?"
'Victor's' voice was sharp and piercing, piercing through people's blind praise of the archmage and reaching the depths of their fanatical hearts.
This sound stunned many humans.
Seeing the changing emotions of their fellow humans, the crowd's opinions inevitably split into two camps.
Some believe that this evil god knows he cannot win and deliberately spreads these rumors.
It was merely a bluff to shake the belief of their Grand Master.
They believe that 'Victor', as an evil god, possesses the power to destroy the world, and perhaps even more unique methods.
In an instant, a heated debate broke out among the crowd.
But these voices were like powerless, ethereal clouds in Odin's ears, and naturally could not affect his mindset.
He even showed interest, stroking his beard and waiting for Vega's next move.
Soon, 'Victor' continued in a mocking tone:
"Why do you think I cast a spell in front of you that you could break?"
"And why do you think I accumulated so much magic power, yet only cast an illusion spell?"
This is also the point that most confuses the mages in the council.
Especially those members of parliament.
They are different from others.
When the magic that enveloped the world was broken, they also realized that the true nature of that magic was merely an illusion.
In other words, that magic couldn't harm anyone at all.
However, it is illogical that 'Victor', having absorbed almost all the magical power of the world's mages, could only unleash such a single spell.
So, where did the remaining magic go?
This question has arisen in the minds of many people, and has left many monks puzzled.
Only Odin remained calm and composed, as if he had anticipated all of this.
"It seems you're just as confident, Archmage."
Vega noticed Odin's composure, but still spoke with a smirk:
"I just wonder how long you can maintain this confidence?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Victor's trench coat suddenly billowed up.
The intricate patterns covering the surface of the trench coat gradually came to life, and iridescent light appeared in the air.
The patterns crisscross along the trench coat, creating six dazzling shimmering lights.
In just a few seconds, the elemental magic behind him became increasingly dense, and the space itself appeared slightly distorted under the intense pressure.
Meanwhile, Odin, standing in front of 'Victor', watched the magic emanating from the other's body without any change in expression.
With a simple wave of his hand, he summoned several enormous meteorite spheres emitting a strange light from the space.
It launched a fierce attack on Viktor.
Faced with several massive, terrifying orbs of light, 'Victor's' dark eyes rippled with an enlarged wave of light.
But he remained standing in mid-air, without dodging at all, quietly waiting for the sphere of light to descend.
Whoosh whoosh——
In the blink of an eye, a beam of light suddenly shot out from behind Odin, shattering the space in front of him and creating a swirling wave of wind.
Boom boom boom—
Several orbs of light slammed into Victor.
The heterochromatic lights were forcibly merged under the enormous impact, and the fragments that had torn apart space were also swallowed up.
The white sphere of light expanded further, completely engulfing the other colors.
