“Come here, Victor.”
"Say hello to your Uncle Angus."
Angus also saw Viktor, and his expression froze slightly.
He looked at the boy in front of him, who was wearing a black trench coat and looked much older than his age, yet appeared remarkably mature. A moment of disbelief flashed across his eyes.
Then, the other party's respectful voice slowly rang out:
"Uncle Angus."
As soon as he finished speaking, Angus saw Viktor place one hand on his chest and bow slightly to him, displaying elegance.
Angus finally came to his senses, nodded, his eyes full of approval:
"I haven't seen Viktor for years, and he's grown so tall."
He silently thought to himself that in two more years, he probably wouldn't be able to compare to him.
"Of course, it doesn't matter whose child it is."
Tisnato laughed heartily, patted Victor on the shoulder, and didn't care how strong he was.
Because no matter how hard he patted, Viktor didn't seem to react at all.
Tisnato simply got used to this force and never held back when patting someone on the shoulder.
Angus watched Victor's unwavering expression under Tisnato's command, and his lips twitched slightly.
Feeling the lingering pain in my shoulder, I ultimately didn't reach out to rub it.
Otherwise, wouldn't he be even less than a child?
Angus adjusted his expression slightly, tilted his head gently, and turned his gaze to the little girl Lia behind Viktor.
Leah is only ten years old now, the same age as Gwen in his family.
The little girl wasn't shy at all; upon seeing Angus, she walked out confidently.
Following Viktor's example, I bowed and greeted him.
"Uncle Angus."
"It's Lia."
Angus loves little girls this age; they're not naughty and are better than his son.
He already had two daughters, so he knew all too well how lovable a sensible girl could be.
He reached out and ruffled Lia's hair, his stern demeanor softening as he spoke kindly.
"Gwen is off today. She's in her room. Go and visit her."
Lia didn't agree immediately. She looked up at Tisnato and received a nod of affirmation from him.
“Go ahead, Viktor and I need to say a few words to your Uncle Angus.”
She obediently nodded and replied to Angus:
“Yes, Uncle Angus.”
With that, she walked past Angus and ran upstairs to find Gwen's room.
Moreover, Lydia did have a lot to say to Gwen.
In particular, Leah needs to ask Gwen about becoming her brother's fiancée.
After Lia left, Tisnato and Angus both turned serious.
"Let's sit down and talk."
Angus gestured for the Tisnato father and son to sit down.
The three of them sat in the living room, facing each other at the coffee table, silent for a long time, the atmosphere somewhat heavy.
After a long silence, Tisnato finally spoke:
"His Majesty Auberly's daughter has been born."
"I never expected that he would have another child at his age."
Angus pondered for a moment, then spoke:
"It's not the one born to the Empress, is it? Is it the woman His Majesty found in the kingdom?"
"Yes, the daughter of the Grand Duke of the Kingdom, the one who was rescued by Victor some time ago."
At this moment, both Angus and Tisnato looked at Victor.
His eyes were filled with indescribable astonishment.
That happened some time ago when Tisnato took Victor to visit the Royal Magic Academy in the Empire.
The Royal Academy of Magic wanted to recruit Victor as a teacher and promised to promote him to professor within five years.
The reason he was promoted to professor within five years was because Viktor was simply too young.
A teacher who is only fifteen years old, even younger than most of the students, is a unique case in the world.
However, given Viktor's achievements, he could not only become a teacher directly, but if not for age restrictions, he could even be hired as a professor.
He became a third-tier mage at the age of fifteen, making him the youngest third-tier mage in the world and even in history.
This is a major sensation in the mage world, where the number of mages is still relatively small.
Even the Mage Council, because of Victor's achievements, wished they could bypass the Empire and bring Victor directly to the Council for training.
Going back to that visit,
To be honest, Tisnato had hoped that Victor would accept the position.
After all, learning magic really costs money...
Although Victor was exceptionally intelligent, and most of his spellbooks were not purchased.
But constantly "borrowing" books isn't a good idea.
It would be better to just let him join the magic academy and go to the magic library there, where he can learn whatever he wants.
Although one can only start as a lecturer, the Royal Magic Academy offers far more than just the benefits of a lecturer.
Why did they ultimately refuse?
The answer is simple.
Because Victor was already booked.
