Hmm? How did Father find out?
Hearing this, Gwen was a little confused and turned to look at Leah.
But Lia seemed even more excited than her, and hurriedly nodded to her.
Seeing this, Gwen turned to Angus and answered frankly:
"Yes, I did say that."
"Is there a problem, Father?"
The moment those words fell, Angus's heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally died.
Okay, okay, okay!
You Victor! You actually reserved my Gwen so early.
I don't know what kind of spell that guy cast on Gwen, but she actually said she wanted to marry Victor.
What is most important?
Gwen is only ten years old!
And when I visited her before, Gwen wasn't even ten years old!
How old was Gwen back then? Victor already had his eye on her!?
That damned brat, how dare he?!
If it weren't for the fact that Viktor himself was a minor, Angus would have even considered tearing Viktor apart.
After silently venting his frustration, Angus was still somewhat skeptical and wanted to confirm it one last time.
He crouched down to Gwen's eye level and asked in a low voice,
“Gwen, tell Dad.”
Do you really want to marry Victor?
Then, Angus watched as Gwen's expression gradually became serious and earnest.
She even puffed out her small chest, and with a resolute gaze, responded as if a knight were swearing an oath:
"Yes, Father."
Her determination and seriousness made Angus's heart tremble.
It was as if Gwen was now a true knight, making an unwavering vow to him.
"I must marry Victor."
"I will marry no one but him."
...
Finally, Angus walked back downstairs, somewhat dejected.
Even now, he still seems unable to believe it.
He didn't understand. Shouldn't a little girl of this age like her father the most?
What could have happened to make such a lovely ten-year-old child so persistently fall in love with another boy?
He even made Gwen swear an oath in the name of a knight that she would marry no one but Victor.
As a knight, Angus knew all too well how heavy a knight's oath was.
Knights never take oaths as a joke or a momentary impulse.
Once an oath is taken, the knight's future path is decided.
To break an oath is to betray the knight's ideals of justice, and one can no longer be called a knight.
For Gwen, who has not yet become a knight but dreams of becoming one,
This means she has essentially decided to commit her life to Victor alone.
Unless she gives up her dream of becoming a knight, her heart will forever be bound to Victor.
I have to say, that's really vicious.
Don't let Viktor's small size fool you; he's incredibly cunning.
Thinking of this, Angus had already returned to the hall.
He plopped back down on the sofa, then couldn't help but glare at Viktor.
Seeing this, Tisnato also laughed heartily and asked curiously:
"How's the questioning going, Angus?"
After Viktor finished saying those words
As if to prove something, Angus rushed upstairs, eager to find Gwen and ask her for the truth.
It turned out that it was true, even though I hadn't asked.
When Angus returned, he felt like the sky was falling.
Even seeing Viktor made me feel annoyed.
After all, this guy had been deceiving his daughter since she was little, telling her that she would only marry Victor when she grew up.
What good could she possibly have for Viktor?
Tisnato, through the other party's reaction, roughly guessed what was going on.
He's probably got this daughter-in-law sorted out.
No wonder he's his son; he's known how to find a wife since he was little.
The two had their own thoughts, but in the end, their different views stemmed from Victor's deception of Gwen since childhood.
Viktor, however, sat on the sofa, expressionless, but inwardly quite surprised.
Why is everyone staring at me like that? Did Angus actually find out something?
His words at the time were simply to show Angus that it was a promise he had made to Gwen.
There was no intention to make Angus and Tisnato understand.
But now, it seems that Angus has gotten information about Gwen's intentions from her.
Gwen, who is only ten years old, already has the idea of marrying him?
What? What exactly did Leah say to Gwen upstairs?
After failing to reach a conclusion, Viktor stopped worrying about it.
Anyway, he's determined to marry Gwen.
No matter what changes occur along the way, nothing can stop him from achieving his goal.
By this time, Tisnato had almost finished laughing.
He patted Angus on the shoulder and offered words of heartfelt comfort:
"Alright, no matter what, we'll be family from now on."
"You, as a father, can't possibly hold a grudge against your child?"
There's nothing I can do, I really have to offer some comfort.
Tissnato was genuinely afraid that Angus was truly angry and would insist on giving Viktor a good beating.
It's not that as a father, he can't bear to see his child suffer.
Instead...
He glanced back at Viktor, who always appeared unusually calm, and sighed helplessly.
Sigh, he was afraid that Angus wouldn't be able to beat Viktor, would doubt the meaning of life, and would become completely withdrawn.
Tisnato had some understanding of his son's fighting abilities.
Anyway, he didn't think highly of Angus.
