Countless spectators watched intently as Viktor raised his long sword, their eyes wide with rage.
He leaned forward, as if afraid of missing any of the next scenes.
Zeus is about to meet his end, and everyone is extremely pleased about it.
Many people have even started cheering.
Their voices rose in waves, filled with joy and excitement, eager for Viktor to strike.
But suddenly, a jarring voice rang out from the crowd:
"Wait a moment."
"If Zeus dies, won't we be the next to suffer?"
These words, as if by magic, instantly silenced the deafening cheers.
Countless spectators sat silently in their seats, frozen in their cheering postures, unable to utter a sound.
They looked at each other, their faces full of astonishment.
Oh no, they were so focused on hating Zeus that they were distracted.
Thinking about it carefully, Viktor doesn't seem to be a good person either!
Indeed, Zeus's death would have been a great relief to them.
But the problem is, once Zeus falls, who will check Victor?
The two spells cast by Viktor's summoned beast were still vividly etched in everyone's minds.
Especially the last six enormous calamities that coalesced into white voids,
The eerie castle that filled the entire city of Shulbon was blasted to the ground.
Even the seemingly indestructible arena was destroyed.
Thinking of this, countless viewers felt a chill run down their spines.
Although they didn't know why they were unaffected by the attack and could now sit in the sky watching as if nothing had happened,
But none of this can overshadow Victor's incredible power.
Once Zeus falls, who will they be able to rely on?
The Eight Masters? The Human Queen? Or the Goddess of Justice from Heaven?
Based on the power Victor just displayed, are these three really capable of fighting against him?
Are you kidding me?
So much so that now, countless viewers feel a chill spreading rapidly through their hearts, almost instantly engulfing them.
This caused their muscles to stiffen, and their whole bodies to tremble involuntarily.
This chill not only spread through their flesh and blood, but also penetrated their bones.
On one hand, they wanted Zeus dead; on the other hand, they feared that once Zeus was dead, no one would be able to rival Viktor.
At that point, Victor might actually take action to destroy the world.
He has that ability!
But it's too late for this dilemma now.
When humanity developed jealousy and resentment towards Zeus, this chief god had already lost the right to remain in this world.
A god who is hated and even despised by people all over the world is not worthy of human faith.
Therefore, even before Victor could personally intervene, Zeus's body had already begun to shrink at a visible rate.
His fragile skin began to collapse and decay, revealing pits and foul-smelling holes everywhere.
More skin simply shrinks and dehydrates, withering rapidly as if it had been dried out by the wind.
As his body withered and turned black, the breaths he made became hoarse and strained.
Zeus could clearly sense that this time, he might really be facing death.
It is said that a dying person's words are good.
Zeus's voice was hoarse and deep, and his words were so fragmented that only Victor and Vulcan could hear them clearly:
"In this world... I have lived for thousands of years and imagined countless scenarios of death."
"But I never imagined that I would be defeated by a human."
He struggled to lift his head, staring at Viktor with his empty eye sockets.
Then, Zeus trembled and grinned, revealing that not a single tooth was visible after his lips split open.
"But you, you're not an ordinary human being either, I know that."
How could humans possibly know how to break the 'mechanism' of [Intermittent Illusion]?
Viktor remained expressionless, but raised an eyebrow slightly.
He heard words from an NPC in a game that should never be uttered by an NPC—
'mechanism'.
This is a common term used to describe skills or features in any game, and yet he heard it from Zeus.
This piqued Viktor's curiosity.
But Zeus clearly had no intention of continuing the conversation.
He knelt on the ground, shaking his head erratically, and said in a manner that was both crying and laughing:
"As expected... I was fooled."
"We've all been scammed."
Zeus looked up at Victor with a hint of pity, as if suddenly realizing something, and continued:
"You know, this is a game."
"Sitting and waiting for failure is our fate."
Sudden,
As Zeus uttered these almost taboo words, thunder roared across the heavens.
But clearly this lightning bolt did not come from the Calamity of Thunder, nor was it released by Zeus.
However, this golden lightning looked strikingly similar to the power of Zeus.
The lightning did not gather anywhere, but appeared alone above Zeus's head.
Without any warning, and without any obvious source.
As for Viktor
Although he showed no outward expression, his heart was in turmoil.
game.
Although Victor knew that gods like Athena and Zeus came from somewhere outside this world.
They followed the rules, and therefore Chaos bestowed upon them divine titles one by one.
