Chapter 51 Game

Chapter 51 Game

The conversation ended with the arrival of the waiter.

Placed the order and ordered the food.

After two bites, I found that this restaurant is just so-so.

It's Korean food, and while it wasn't terrible, some of the ingredients were still edible, it wasn't what I'd imagined. The promotional images were mouth-watering, after all. I can only say that cheese rice cake and sausage noodles are something I never want to see again.

The four of them probably ate less than half of the meal, and had no desire to eat the rest.

It's still early, not even 8pm yet. It's too early to go back now.

"I know a bar where everyone from the manager to the resident singers are very good-looking. Do you want to go?" He Jia suggested.

*

The bar was very different from what I had imagined. No flashing lights, no colorful lights, no large dance floor.

The singer sang in the center, her voice low and slow, as if reciting a love poem. Orange light shone on the walnut bar. The combined voices of everyone were low, at least not enough to drown out the singer's voice.

The waiter showed Lin Qingxu and the others to their seats, then brought over the snacks and menus. His hair was incredibly unique; even the most aesthetically pleasing South American students wouldn't dye their hair fluorescent green like him. He called it professionalism, to complement the bar's name, "FREE."

He Jia quietly told them that this man dyed his hair that color because he lost a bet.

Ordered some wine.

The resident singer on the stage sang a few lines before being replaced.

Of course, He Jia came here for a reason.

They've been flirting recently.

Youyou consciously gave up her seat and squeezed onto a sofa with Lin Qingxu and the others. The resident singer sat with He Jia. He politely greeted them, and the two of them whispered in each other's ears.

The green-haired waiter came quickly, and because they were resident singers, he brought them a few more plates of snacks.

Lin Qingxu tasted the legendary Long Island Iced Tea, took a sip, and found it a little bitter and a little sweet, but it was okay.

Just drink a little.

He ordered it out of pure curiosity. As a regular guest on soap operas, Lin Qingxu had heard of its power.

Since they were bored, He Jia suggested playing games.

The dice game, the name is bragging. The rules of the game are briefly explained, and the punishment for losing is drinking.

After playing for a while, Lin Qingxu had a pretty good grasp of the mechanics. There was a bit of luck involved, but it was mostly based on calculations and observing other people's micro-expressions.

After a few rounds, the amount of wine in front of Lin Qingxu was almost gone.

"Six fours."

"open."

The resident singer looked at Lin Qingxu with a joking expression: "Don't think about it anymore, it's only six."

Lin Qingxu remained unmoved: "Open."

There were only four of them, singing and drinking. He became interested. "Have you played this before? You're so good at it."

"No." Lin Qingxu shook his head.

continue.

Zhu Chang and He Jia were experienced, so the wine in their glasses was less and less, so they drank it more slowly. But You You and Zhan Hanchun were playing for the first time, so they drank the wine in their glasses in one gulp before they could savor it more.

Fortunately, the alcohol concentration they ordered was not high, so they didn't get drunk immediately.

Even the game of bragging required luck. Regardless of whether she was the one bragging or the one being braggarted, she was going to lose anyway. She figured it out, so she might as well turn the passive into the active. Lin Qingxu happened to be next to her, so she was bound to be affected.

After drinking half a cup, I didn't feel anything at first, but after a while I started to feel a little dizzy.

Lin Qingxu got up and went to the bathroom to wake up, but he had just taken two steps away from his seat when he fell to the ground.

Youyou and the others were startled and hurried over.

"Is this... drunk?" asked Zhan Han.

The answer is obvious.

Lin Qingxu didn't answer, staring blankly around. The aftereffects of the alcohol had come suddenly and violently.

Helped onto the sofa, she half-closed her eyes, a little sleepy, and leaned on He Jia's shoulder.

The hotel was far from here, and they didn't bring their ID cards to book a room for Lin Qingxu to rest.

He Jia was afraid that Lin Qingxu would fall asleep, so while she was still awake, she took a picture of her face and unlocked her face lock screen, easily finding Kan Zhao's name on the top of the screen.

"Um... Qingxu is drunk now. Are you here to pick her up?"

Kan Zhao asked for the location.

Hearing his voice, Lin Qingxu woke up from the chaos.

He Jia put the phone on the table so that everyone could easily get to it.

Lin Qingxu squatted beside the table, picked up his cell phone, and clearly reported the name of the bar, the street address of the city and province it was located in, and even the number of meters away from the opposite lane, counting them all on his fingers.

The person on the other end of the phone couldn't help but feel soft-hearted when he heard her calling Kan Zhao softly in a confused and not-so-bright tone.

Kan Zhao took the car keys and coat and walked outside.

"Huh? Where are you going?" Zhang You put down the phone.

Sadly for Kan Zhao's absence, several people from the dormitory came to give him a farewell party. Zhang You paid for Kan Zhao to have a nice meal.

There is no reason for Kan Zhao not to go if the stingy man takes the initiative to pluck the feathers.

I just didn’t expect that the farewell venue was a KTV near the school, and the “good” meal was just a complimentary fruit plate served in the private room a few hours later, and I didn’t even bother to order any snacks.

"Pick up my wife." Kan Zhao pushed open the door and walked out.

"Call...my wife?" Lu Dai ate watermelon and waited for the door to close before he reacted.

He turned to look at Zhang You, "Is it true?"

Cheng Zhi said, "I just heard a female voice on the other end of the phone."

"Damn, did he really talk about it?!"

*

It's raining outside.

It was a drizzle, weaving diagonally. I could hardly feel it hitting my face, but it brought a damp coolness.

Kan Zhao walked into the bar and saw Lin Qingxu sleeping on the sofa from a distance.

"Here." He Jia waved at him as if he were her savior.

"Are you drunk?" Kan Zhao walked to Lin Qingxu's side, and Youyou moved a seat for him.

Kan Zhao bent down and gently poked Lin Qingxu's face with his finger: "When you are drunk, just sleep. You have such a good drinking habit."

He Jia hesitated to speak, already thinking about whether it was right to let Kan Zhao take Lin Qingxu back.

Kan Zhao picked up Lin Qingxu by the waist.

As if sensing his approach, Lin Qingxu opened her eyes. Seeing the person in front of her, she immediately prepared to pounce. Unfortunately, before she could make any move, He Jia covered her mouth and bound her hands, forcing her to retreat.

Fine. If I don't want to fight, then I won't fight. She lowered her head, thinking a little discouraged.

So stingy.

Being obedient was just an illusion. Being a good drinker was out of the question. Although at first He Jia and the others thought they only needed to stay by Lin Qingxu's side and wait for Kan Zhao to come over.

But the actual development is far beyond imagination.

Someone ordered a few bottles of expensive wine for their table and paid the bill in advance, using this as an opportunity to strike up a conversation with Lin Qingxu.

Lin Qingxu reacted for a few seconds, looked at him, and then took out his cell phone.

The boy thought there was a chance, so he opened his friend’s QR code and gave it to her to scan.

Lin Qingxu couldn't scan the code no matter how hard she tried; it wasn't the interface she wanted. She went back and scanned the code again, but after trying several times, she realized it belatedly and frowned, asking in confusion, "Isn't that the payment code?"

"Just add me as a friend. Consider this meal my treat."

“Why add friends?”

Why add her as a friend? The answer shouldn't be too obvious. Qu Wei couldn't tell if she was genuinely drunk or just pretending to be drunk; after all, he'd seen this happen all too often. Regardless of whether she was playing hard to get, Qu Wei had taken the bait.

Normally, if someone asked Qu Wei this question, he would immediately bow his head, but when the girl asked him this question, he just felt his heart fluttered and cute. This is probably the power of love at first sight.

He said: "Give me a chance, I want to pursue you."

"no."

"Why?"

Lin Qingxu raised her head and looked straight into his eyes seriously: "I like girls." Then she licked He Jia who was chatting with the resident singer next to her.

He Jia: “?”

Naturally, the other roommates were not spared, and the situation even intensified. Just a few minutes ago, he was tired from playing and resting on the sofa.
