Chapter 77 Guoguo Becomes a Father
Half of the summer vacation has already passed by unnoticed as the girl studies and plays every day.
One afternoon in late July, the doorbell rang urgently outside the villa, startling the girl who was home alone.

The girl hesitated, wondering how to start the conversation. Finally, she glanced at the pitiful-looking Guoguo on the ground and the woman with her legs crossed, demanding an explanation.
Hearing the girl's hesitant voice, the man realized the situation was serious and sat up slightly. "Little girl?"
"It was Guoguo who ruined someone else's female dog." The girl gritted her teeth and made up her mind, "She got someone else's female dog pregnant, and now the owner has come to our house."
Dan Anwen sat up straight, his body in a semi-stiff state, his deep phoenix eyes slightly raised, but he quickly regained his original calm demeanor.
"Is the female dog's owner still beside you?" Dan Anwen asked calmly.
"Yes, I am." The girl glanced at the expressionless woman.
Dan Anwen put his glasses on his high nose bridge and said in a reassuring tone, "Give her the phone first, and I'll discuss the rest with her."

After the girl handed the phone to the middle-aged woman, the woman's attitude softened noticeably after the man said something.
After seeing the middle-aged woman out, the girl looked at her phone, which was showing a busy signal, and asked, "Uncle Dan, what should we do next?"
"I'll take care of this when I get home from get off work," the man said calmly.
Then, as if remembering something, the man slightly curled the corners of his mouth and said, "Little friend, if you want to teach Guoguo, remember not to forget to drink water, otherwise your lips will crack."
"Huh?" The girl was stunned for a moment, then glanced at Guoguo, who was lying motionless on the ground.
"Uncle Dan, don't worry, I know what I'm doing."
After hanging up the phone, Gu Zhaodi looked at Guoguo, who was licking its fur, and was immediately furious. How dare it harm someone else's little female dog! It's outrageous!
"Guoguo." The girl's soft voice rang out, immediately stopping Guoguo in its grooming. Sensing something was wrong, it tried to tuck its tail between its legs and run away, but the girl grabbed its head with both hands.

For the next hour, the girl told Guoguo a profound life lesson and the virtues a dog should possess.
Guoguo yawned countless times throughout the process, her eyes filled with tears, looking pitiful.
While the girl was talking non-stop, she didn't forget Uncle Dan's advice to drink more water to soothe her throat, and in the end, she took all the blame.
It wasn't until 6 p.m. that the sound of a car could be heard at the villa's entrance. Guoguo immediately followed Gu Zhaodi out of the villa.
The man casually placed one hand on the car door, bent down, and took a small bundle out of the passenger seat.
The thing was still making whimpering noises.
"Uncle Dan, what's this?" The girl looked at the puppy in the man's palm, somewhat bewildered.
Guoguo on the ground, perhaps smelling the scent of its own kind, strained to lift its head to see what the little puppy looked like in the man's palm.
The puppy, whose eyes were not yet open, nestled quietly in the man's large hand, making soft whimpering sounds, and occasionally sniffing the man's palm, as if confirming the scent.
"The mother dog only gave birth to this one puppy, and its owner didn't want a German Shepherd and Border Collie mix," Dan Anwen briefly explained the situation.
After getting off work, Dan Anwen drove directly to the Border Collie owner's house. The middle-aged woman's husband happened to be home as well. When he saw that Guoguo's owner was Dan Anwen, his attitude immediately changed completely, saying that they were destined to be in-laws.
Dan Anwen didn't bother with them and directly asked how to handle it. Border Collies are pets that middle-aged women keep when they have nothing else to do. As a wealthy woman, she naturally looked down on the ugly mixed breed.
After discussing it, they agreed not to pursue the matter of Guoguo's mistake, but they wouldn't keep the mixed-breed dog at home, so the man took the puppy home first.

Gu Zhaodi looked at the tiny puppy, which was no bigger than a man's palm, and smiled. "Uncle Dan, why don't we raise it ourselves? That way, even if Guoguo is neutered, he can still be a father."
She felt that the puppy's experience was somewhat similar to her own, as it was not loved or accepted in some ways, but a kind-hearted god would appear in her life to redeem it at the right time.
Seeing the child gazing fondly at the puppy in his hand, the man lowered his eyes and stared at it for a while, then said in a doting tone, "Little one, if you like it, you can keep it."
After the girl took the small, pitiful puppy from the man, she first placed it in Guoguo's luxurious villa.
"Guoguo, this is your child." The girl gently touched the puppy's head with her slender white fingertips, then turned to Guoguo, who was sniffing the puppy's scent, and said.
Guoguo, perhaps understanding the girl's words, carefully brought her nose close to the puppy and gently nudged its soft body with the tip of her nose.
The girl did not stop Guoguo's actions; she could tell that Guoguo's actions were a cautious test.
