As soon as they sat down, Yan Yuning walked in side by side with A Ci, holding a candied haws in her hand.
Xuan Yanyu frowned. He was eating candied haws so early in the morning without having any meal. What if he felt uncomfortable in his stomach?
"You guys eat first, I'll go take a look at Master Qi." Nuoxi stood up from the wooden chair with a smile.
Yan Yuning chewed the hawthorn in her mouth and muttered, "䗽."
Nuoxi looked at Ah Ci and smiled, "You ran out of the clinic early in the morning just to buy candied haws for the little girl."
When she heard what the medicine boy said, she thought he had something important to do.
A Ci put his fist to his lips and coughed lightly. When they were chatting last night, Xiao Ningmeng said that he wanted to eat candied haws, and he couldn't wait and went to buy some early in the morning.
Just like Little Lemon took care of him before, now that he is grown up, it is his turn to be the older brother and take care of Little Lemon.
"Okay, let's go and have our meal." Nuo Xi curled her lips. If he continued teasing her, she would get annoyed.
After Nuoxi walked out of the dining hall, Aci found a seat and sat down.
Yan Yuning walked past the empty seat next to Xuan Yanyu and sat next to Ye Jian.
Ye Jian's eyebrows trembled, and he moved to the side without saying a word.
Yan Yuning licked the sugar stains on the corner of her mouth, and A Ci naturally took the bamboo stick from her hand and threw it into the trash can.
"Yan Yuning." Xuan Yanyu said in a muffled voice.
The man leaned back in the sandalwood chair, looking somewhat aggrieved.
Yan Yuning smiled and asked, "What's wrong?"
Xuan Yanyu pursed his thin lips, looking a little unhappy.
She would also smile at him and say that he didn't make her unhappy, so why didn't she sit next to him?
"Little Lemon, eat quickly and stop talking. After eating, we still have to go see grandpa and grandma." A Ci added some dishes to Yan Yu Ning.
"Tuo." Yan Yuning had a smile on her lips.
Ah Ci said helplessly, "Why are you laughing so much today?"
"I'm going to visit my grandparents. I'm happy." Yan Yuning narrowed her beautiful eyes.
"Are you going to Chaxi Town?" Xuan Yanyu clenched his hands at his sides.
Yan Yuning was the one who was brought to the Prime Minister's Mansion from Chaxi Town. Why didn't she tell him that she wanted to go there? Why didn't she let him accompany her?
"Well, I don't think Brother Qi will be able to recover for a while. Ah Ci and I will go see Grandfather and the others and come back the day after tomorrow morning."
"I'll go with you." the man blurted out.
Yan Yuning frowned and looked at him, "What are you going to do?"
Xuan Yanyu felt like his heart was pricked by a needle. Can't he go?
Ye Jian lowered his head and ate his meal silently, trying to eat more so that he wouldn't have to follow His Highness if he got angry and left.
Yan Yuning didn't eat much. She put down her bowl and chopsticks and glanced at someone out of the corner of her eye. The latter also put down his chopsticks. Ye Jian handed over a handkerchief, and Xuan Yanyu wiped the corner of his mouth slowly.
Yan Yuning looked away and looked at A Ci with her chin in her hands.
Ah Ci tapped her forehead, "What are you looking at?"
Yan Yuning curled her lips and said, "Look at why you eat so slowly."
Ah Ci raised the corner of his mouth and laughed.
Xuan Yanyu gritted his teeth and lifted Ye Jian by the collar. Ye Jian didn't stand steadily and spun on the spot, still biting the wooden chopsticks in his mouth. He looked at Xuan Yanyu with a confused look on his face as he sat on his wooden chair.
The next second, the wooden chair Yan Yuning was sitting on was unexpectedly turned around, and she met the man's dark pupils. Yan Yuning grabbed the armrest of the wooden chair and glared at him, "Xuan Yanyu, what are you doing?"
Xuan Yanyu frowned slightly, "Didn't you promise me that day?"
Yan Yuning pursed her lips and thought about it, "Yan Yuning, I don't want to see what happened today again."
