As Lin Tingfeng walked out of the warehouse, a burlap sack suddenly appeared in front of him, its opening tied shut, and something seemed to be moving inside.
The mountain wind was blowing strongly, sending chills down one's spine.
Lin Tingfeng was dizzy and terrified. He quickly walked over, squatted down in a flash, and hurriedly untied the bag's rope, opened the pocket, and Ye Wenyu's head appeared.
After three days apart, she was noticeably paler and thinner, her hair disheveled and covered with vegetable leaves and scraps of paper.
Her body trembled like a wounded little animal.
Lin Tingfeng felt a pang of heartache. He lifted her out of the sack, pulled her into his arms, and held her tightly, saying, "It's alright, girl, it's alright." Tears streamed down his face like a small stream.

Ye Wenyu glanced at him, then closed her eyes; she was too weak to speak.
Lin Tingfeng picked her up and strode towards where he had parked his car.
He held her tightly, as if he were afraid of losing her.
A few minutes later, he put her in the passenger seat, then got in himself, drove off like an arrow with her in tow.
An hour later, Lin Tingfeng returned home. He carried Ye Wenyu into the Lin family's old house, placed her in the guest room, and then had Zhang Ma bathe her and feed her.
He stayed by her side all night, taking care of her.
In the middle of the night, Ye Wenyu was having a nightmare. Her head was shaking, and she was muttering something. Lin Tingfeng leaned over and put his ear close to her lips. He discovered that the name she was calling out was "Tingfeng, Tingfeng—".
