Chapter 99, Chapter 13: The Six-Eyed Flower Fairy's Mary Sue Dress...

Chapter 99, Chapter 13: The Six-Eyed Flower Fairy's Mary Sue Dress...

After the class, Yuki Ayaka was taken shopping by Gojo Satoru.

Throughout the journey, Karin Oori acted as if she was curious about everything.

She originally intended to portray a calm demeanor of wanting to see but pretending not to, but she discovered that as a six-eyed person, she didn't need to turn her head to see at all, so how to express that little bit of motivation to see was a real test of her acting skills.

Unfortunately, her acting skills weren't up to that level yet. So, Kiryuki Ayakari had to change it, making it so that she could watch whatever she wanted directly.

She's a six-eyed woman, so it's reasonable for her to do whatever she wants!

Her curiosity about the outside world also piqued Gojo Satoru's interest. As the previous head of the secluded Six-Eyes, Gojo Satoru understood the current situation all too well, so he very consciously took on the responsibility of introducing Oriyuki Karin to her.

Karin Oriyuki was very cooperative. Even though Gojo Satoru didn't introduce anything, she nodded slightly to him and expressed her gratitude with exceptional politeness.

"I see, thank you for your explanation."

"I understand, thank you for your explanation."

"Oh, I see. Thank you so much for helping me."

Politeness 100%, courtesy 1000%.

When Gojo Satoru first heard her gratitude, he was flattered and thought he was a perfect father! Gradually, he began to feel that something was wrong.

“Hey, Tsukihime. You don’t have to be so polite to your father, do you? Being too formal makes us seem like strangers.” Gojo Satoru’s expression was somewhat conflicted.

Karin looked at him, her brows furrowing slightly, and said disapprovingly, "Propriety cannot be disregarded."

Gojo Satoru seemed to see the old men in his family on her small face, and immediately put on a mask of pain.

"Little Moon Princess, let's make a deal. Could you please stop looking like an old man all the time? It really makes people..." He didn't finish his sentence, but instead made a face with his hands twisted together to show that he had too much to say.

However, Karin Ooyuki just stared at him without saying a word, her face filled with disapproval, disapproval, and rejection.

Gojo Satoru: "..."

The father and daughter were locked in a stalemate for a while, but in the end, Gojo Satoru wasn't ruthless enough and gave in.

"Okay, then at least when you express your gratitude, Princess Tsuki, could you say something like 'Thank you, Daddy' or 'I love Daddy the most'?" Gojo Satoru offered as a compromise.

The child seemed to think about it very seriously for a moment, and finally nodded and said, "Thank you, Father."

Gojo Satoru: “#&*@……”

Seeing Gojo Satoru's expression, which was so smug it was almost a heart attack, Oriyuki Karin chuckled inwardly.

Serves you right! All you ever do is fool people, this is your retribution! Hmph...

That wasn't the end of it. Soon, the father and daughter had a major disagreement on another matter—what to buy.

It wasn't a disagreement about what daily necessities and clothes to buy, but rather... a disagreement about style.

It's quite simple. Gojo Satoru wanted to buy some pink and girly items for Orishita Karin, but Orishita Karin, adhering to her rigid and boring persona, resolutely resisted those cute items. She wanted to choose things that were devoid of personality and had dull colors, or traditional Japanese style items that, although exquisite, Gojo Satoru was already tired of seeing.

The father and daughter looked at each other again, and in each other's eyes they saw stubbornness, persistence, and a lack of understanding of each other's views.

Gojo couldn't understand: "Why would a little girl like you like something that looks so incredibly boring and old-fashioned?! It's not cute at all!"

Gojo Tsukihime couldn't understand: "As the Six-Eyed One who bears the great responsibility of the family and the world of sorcery, and is destined to be the strongest, why should I use something that looks so childish?"

Gojo Satoru: "How is this childish!? It's totally cute! Look at the color, look at the cat head, look at the bow, isn't it kawaii!?"

Gojo Tsukihime: "I'm sorry, but I don't agree with what you said about it being old-fashioned and boring. Don't you think this style is quite dignified and proper?"

Gojo Satoru's head was spinning from her polite, almost throbbing, words, and veins were throbbing on his forehead. He was thinking: This is so boring! And speaking of which, your way of speaking smells like a rotten orange! Who taught you that? I'm going to go chop them up right now!

If it were anyone else, Gojo Satoru might have already jumped up and down in anger. But in front of him was Oriyuki Karin, Gojo Tsukihime, his adorable daughter whom he had longed to have for so long.

Although his personality doesn't seem as cute as he wanted it to be now, he's still very cute!

Gojo Satoru: He wanted to explode and scratch that person, but looking at that face, he couldn't bring himself to do it.

Knowing full well that she now held a position where she would never be beaten, Shiki Ayaka knew not to back down at all and stared at him with wide eyes, displaying an unyielding and indomitable spirit.

In the end, Gojo Satoru gave in and instead of continuing to argue with her, he chose to—act cute.

This is actually his usual tactic, but he didn't do it this time because he wanted to establish a reliable father image in front of his daughter.

However, there was nothing he could do at the moment. Compared to watching his daughter, who should have been delicate and sweet, dressed like an old scholar and whose bedroom was so monotonous that it made him feel dizzy, Gojo Satoru felt that the image of a father was not important anymore.

So he squatted down right in front of Yuki Aka, tugged at her sleeve, and tried to coax her: "But Daddy wants to see Tsukihime in a cute little dress~ Can you wear it for Daddy? Hmm? Is that okay? Is it alright?"

Then, Gojo Satoru saw his adorable daughter, whose only expression seemed to be frowning, and his eyes visibly widened.

Xiao Liu stared blankly at his father, who was acting all cute and affectionate towards him. He could practically see several comments scrolling across the screen above his head—

Is this my dad?

Is the man in front of her, pouting, speaking in a high-pitched voice, tugging at her sleeve, and acting coquettishly, her biological father?

Shouldn't her father be a god-like figure?

Gojo Tsukihime: #&*@……? ? ?

The child finally nodded hesitantly.

He was either convinced by Gojo Satoru, or he was simply bewildered by Gojo's demeanor.

Simply put, the child has become mentally impaired.

Throughout the rest of the shopping process, Ayaka Shiki maintained an expression of utter disbelief, as if she were being shocked by Gojo Satoru's actions.

Gojo Satoru noticed this and even asked, "What's wrong with Tsukihime?"

The child glanced at him hesitantly, then finally shook his head: "It's nothing."

He looked like he didn't know what to say.

Gojo Satoru's ultimate understanding was: his daughter must have never been this close to him before, so she was shocked.

Well, the possibility of his father's image being shattered did briefly cross Gojo Satoru's mind, but he quickly dismissed it.

Gojo Satoru firmly believes that even if disillusionment occurs, it's merely the collapse of that stern and imposing father image. If he can't be a strict father, he can still be a loving father who gets along well with his children!

That's right, this is more suitable for him! Gojo Satoru firmly believes that this kind of father figure will definitely be liked by his daughter!

Or rather—no one could dislike his five senses!

And so, Gojou Satoru happily picked out a bunch of adorable daily necessities and clothes for Oriyuki Karin. Oriyuki Karin was completely out of it the whole time, barely reacting to anything Gojou Satoru said, just nodding vaguely and moving on, earnestly playing the role of someone suffering from the aftereffects of a major shock.

Until... Gojo Satoru pulled out a fairy dress that was incredibly lewd.

The kind with Mary Sue wings.

Finally, Yuki Ayaka couldn't hold back anymore.

“Father, I think those clothes were enough,” she finally couldn’t help but say.

Gojo Satoru pretended not to hear and continued to hold the skirt up against her body.

Zhixue Yahuali: "..."

"Father, please don't ignore me."

"Hmm?" Gojo Satoru blinked innocently at her. "What did Little Moon Princess just say?"

"..." The child paused for a moment. She was absolutely certain that Gojo Satoru, as the Six-Eyed One, had heard what she had just said, but she still had no choice but to repeat it again, "I think those clothes were enough. I don't need that many clothes."

Gojo Satoru waved his hand dismissively: "It's alright, we can wear ten layers a day!"

Zhixue Yahuali: "..."

You think you're playing a real-life dress-up game?

Seeing that there was no way to communicate indirectly, the child chose to say directly, "I don't think this outfit suits me very well."

The words were still tactful, but tactfulness meant that Gojo Satoru could simply pretend he didn't understand.

Gojo Satoru: "Hmm? What's wrong with it? It fits perfectly, doesn't it?"

He even held the skirt up to Kiryuki Karin to prove it was the right size.

Karin Origami frowned at his actions, stepped back, and said, "What I mean is, as a Six-Eyed, such clothes are obviously a bit inappropriate and beneath your status."

Gojo Satoru thought it wasn't a problem: "It's okay, you can pretend you're not Six-Eyed."

Child: "...This is not right, Father."

“There’s nothing unreasonable about it. I can wear these clothes, so why can’t you?” Gojo Satoru chose to use analogy as his argument.

You have six eyes, and so do I. If I can wear this dress, you certainly can too!

The child visibly froze for a moment, then looked at Gojo Satoru with a bewildered expression, then at the clothes in the other's hand, his usually calm tone tinged with disbelief: "You... you've worn clothes like this before?"

“Hmm… I don’t have the same one, but I’ve worn something similar.” Gojo Satoru pinched his chin and began to recall, “Back in high school, I think? I wore a princess dress like this during a school event. At the time, there were also Gon, Nanami, Haibara, and the others. Shoko, Kahime, and Mei-san were wearing prince outfits.”

Zhixue Yahuali: "."

She wasn't surprised that Gojo Satoru was wearing a princess dress or anything like that. As for Natsumi Yuuki… he didn't have much sense of propriety either. And as for Haibara Yu, he was a huge fan of Yuuki; since Yuuki was wearing it, he probably just shouted it out and happily joined in. What surprised her most was… how did they manage to bring Nanami Kento along?

And... when did this happen? Why hasn't she encountered it?

"Do you have... photos?" she couldn't help but ask.

She believed that Gojo Satoru would definitely have taken photos.

Zhi Xueya Huali: I want to see it.

"Yes, I'll give it to you—" Gojo Satoru was about to blurt out when a sudden flash of inspiration made him stop, and even his hand, which had already taken out his phone, stopped.

He grinned slyly, hid his phone behind his back, and said, "Little Moon Princess, do you want to see it? If you do—"

Before she could finish speaking, Karin Oori interrupted her with a stern face: "No, I didn't want to see it."

"Really?" Gojo Satoru smiled and leaned closer. "I was going to say that as long as Tsukihime calls me 'Dad,' I'll show this to her."

Yuki Ayaka, who had long seen through his scheme: Ha.

It's not like he's the only one with the photos. Ieiri Shoko and Iori Kagi are sure they'll keep all of these guys' embarrassing moments.

The child turned away indifferently: "It's getting late, we should go back, Father."

She even made a point of pronouncing "Father" very clearly.

"Eh—" Seeing that he had failed to arouse the interest of Oriyuki Karin, Gojo Satoru was greatly disappointed.

But he still hadn't forgotten the fairy-tale Mary Sue dress in his hand: "Then I'll go pay for this dress."

Zhixue Yahuali: "..."

Tonight she'll give this Mary Sue dress a [heh] and send it to participate in the great elemental cycle!

Author's Note: Given the recent dissatisfaction in the comments section, let me offer a brief explanation. I'm not trying to excuse myself; the delays in updating are definitely my fault. I'm just saying this because many people want an explanation.

It's not that I was busy three times, as everyone thinks. Actually, I'm a full-time writer; if I don't write, I have no income. But even so, I've still stopped updating for so long, which is equivalent to a long period without income. Because my condition was really bad recently, I couldn't sit down and write properly at all. I don't know what happened to me. It wasn't writer's block; I knew exactly how the plot would develop, but I just couldn't calm myself down and write it down. Maybe it's because I've been writing alone at home in an unfamiliar city for so long. I don't know, and I can't think of any other reason.

This started around August or September of last year, and around that time, my updates became very unstable. I tried to adjust intermittently, but it never really got better; I was just forcing myself to write. Then, in February of this year, I felt like the pent-up problems had completely exploded, and I even considered giving up on writing altogether. I had hoped to stay with my boyfriend for a while, thinking he might be able to help me sort things out, but I met the wrong person, which made things even worse, and I was on the verge of a breakdown. I won't go into the details, but it was definitely my personal fault for not handling things well, and I apologize to everyone.

I haven't been looking at the comments section or Weibo lately, but I can roughly guess what the situation will be like. I'm not sure if I can handle this in my current state, so I'm temporarily running away. I'm sorry.

I haven't posted the sick leave note yet because I'm not sure when I'll be fully recovered. At the beginning of this month, my mother came from our hometown to be with me, and I felt a little better, so I finally managed to post a sick leave note. But I can't guarantee I can maintain daily updates right now. I can only say that I still want to write, and I'll gradually finish these books I have on hand, one by one. After that, I'll adjust my condition and then consider starting a new book.

I'm sorry for letting everyone down during this time.
