Chapter 6 Recruitment Announcement and Strange Applicants
Ye Wan and Pancake turned their heads at the same time. The homeless man stood behind her like a mountain, casting a shadow over her.
The man's close proximity made the rugged scar on his face more obvious. Pancake trembled, and Ye Wan was a little scared, but also a little angry. He bravely corrected him, "Pancake is a guinea pig, not a mouse."
He did not comment, but decisively tore down the post that said "Catch the dragon lizard and you will be rewarded with 1,000 silver coins", then walked away with the iron sword in his hand.

Emma and Ye Wan looked at each other.
"Would you like to try?"

About a quarter of an hour later, the three of them returned to normal. Ye Wan shuddered and said with a stiff upper lip, "I'm really sorry, but this taste is really not suitable for human diners. We still don't need a chef."
The dwarf's face became even gloomier and his eyes dimmed. He muttered a few words about "tasteless humans" and then left, dragging his tattered robe.
Several people breathed a sigh of relief at the same time.
Emma patted her shoulder: "It's okay, maybe there will be better employees behind..."
As he was saying this, there was another knock on the door.
Ye Wan went to open the door. Standing at the door was a tall and strong man. He was very young, with deep features, gray hair and gray eyes. He was wearing a tight-fitting suit, and his muscles could be seen. He had a very good figure.
This man looked very cheerful and waved towards Ye Wan as soon as he came up. "Hi! I saw your job posting at the recruitment office. My name is Ah Hui, and I'm here to apply."

Ye Wan decided to hire him.
When the gilded light of the sunset completely faded and the sky turned into a dreamy black and blue, Ye Wan opened the door and said goodbye to Ah Hui and Emma. She said happily, "This is really great. See you tomorrow."
Today's night sky is like black velvet, with two moons hanging high in the sky. One is a dark blue moon with a cold light, and the other is a crimson moon, like a heart suspended in the air. The red light spreads out, like red sand scattered all over the night sky.

Finally, a huge gray wolf appeared at the door of the restaurant.
"Wow!" Ye Wan pressed his face against the glass: "This is so cool!"
The wolf flicked its fluffy tail and turned around. Its originally friendly eyes turned into a pair of amber, emotionless vertical pupils. It glanced at Ye Wan and the others, and the moonlight from the double moons flowed on its undulating back.
Then it looked up at the moon, and a wolf howl resounded over Honey Lane, and the werewolf turned and ran away.
Ye Wan thought it was magical and cool: "This is awesome! Just like Harry Potter!" She then worriedly asked, "Will the werewolf eat people? I saw him run away."
Emma asked, "What's Harry Potter? It sounds like the name of a drink... but I haven't heard of any cases of werewolves injuring anyone. Muffin jumped onto her shoulder and patted her face with his paw.

Muffin nodded.
The two went up to the second floor, and Pancake crawled into his little nest and fell asleep. Ye Wan took a book called "Pink Dragon's 100 Favorite Desserts" from the bookshelf. The book was covered with dust, and she shook it for a long time to get the dust off.
There are all kinds of strange desserts inside. It is said that the pink dragon likes to eat a kind of cinnamon chili donut with several layers of chili oil on it.
There were also Ye Yuji's notes in it. Because they were so old, some of the words were blurred. Ye Wan held the book in his arms, curled up and fell asleep.
In her dream, she missed home and shed some tears, calling out "Mom".
Muffin was originally sleeping in the nest. He woke up when he heard her talking in her sleep. Then he climbed onto the bed worriedly, wiped Ye Wan's tears, and snuggled into her arms again.
The two fell asleep together.
