Chapter 83: Soy Milk and Grapefruit Vinegar Dandan Noodles. How can it be so difficult to revive a person?
When it was dawn, You An was still sleeping and Ye Wan woke up.
Her black hair was still entangled in Youan's fingertips. The alcohol rising in the air last night made the air intoxicating, leaving only the taste of passion fruit beer lingering from the touch of lips and tongues.
The only victim was Muffin, who was driven to the attic on the third floor to sleep. After rummaging around outside the door for a while, Youan threw out a bag of plump macadamia nuts. "It's a bird," he comforted her.
But something was wrong. Besides the flapping sounds, there seemed to be people screaming. The two of them had to wake up. Outside the window, thousands of bats swarmed in from all directions, leaping over the morning bells in the clock tower and covering the clear sky.
“Oh my god…”
Those bats transformed into giant black dragons, circling continuously under the dome of the royal capital.
Someone was knocking on the tavern door.
Ye Wan hurried downstairs. Rose's anxious voice came from outside the door. She opened the door a crack, and Rose hurried in through the gap. Her arm was injured and bleeding. "Oh no! Dracula has awakened."
"Ah?" Both of them were surprised.
Ye Wan ran to find the medicine box, took out some iodine and sprayed it on her wound. Rose's face was filled with fear. "The knights and guards at the gate of Twilight Manor were clearly on patrol, and no one went in to perform the vampire awakening ritual, but he just woke up."
Ye Wan looked out the window and saw the bats still circling. "Did they bite you?"

A gray turtledove suddenly flew over from a distance and knocked on the glass window with its feet. It was obvious that it was also very dissatisfied with the bats in the sky.
You An opened the window, took the letter, glanced at it, and then put on his coat: "I'm going out for a while."
"I want to go too!" Ye Wan quickly stood up.
The normally bustling market was now dead silent as everyone hurried home in a panic, leaving only the surging darkness. Fortunately, the giant dragons formed by the black bats had no intention of attacking anyone and only circled above the royal capital.
It was Ye Wan’s first time in the Holy Rose Palace. The guards standing in the corridor saluted them in dark golden armor.
They passed through a huge garden and archway, and several waiters holding silver trays saluted Youan who strode in.
The atmosphere in the reception room was extremely solemn. Dracula, dressed in a black robe, sat on a high-backed chair at the end of the long table, his slender fingertips occasionally tapping the armrest.
After Youan came in, he looked at him calmly.
Dracula said, "Are you the crown prince? I was going to speak to the king, but he was sitting alone in the garden playing chess. He looked old and confused."
"Count Dracula, you summoned those bats to create panic, and now you come to the palace to see me by name. What do you want to do?"
"I want the treasure in the national treasury, the tears of the phoenix."
Ye Wan quietly asked Rose from behind: "What are Phoenix Tears?"
Rose's face turned pale. "You know the legend of the phoenix rising from the ashes? It's said that the phoenix's tears have powerful healing and resurrection powers. I think he hopes Ophelia will be resurrected."
"She has been dead for more than a hundred years." Ye Wan's face turned pale.
"Give me the Phoenix Tears. Ophelia shouldn't just disappear like that."
Youan persuaded him, "On the Day of the Dead, some people have tried to summon the dead, but they are no longer the same people. Between life and death lies a boundary that mortals cannot cross. That is a blasphemy against the laws of nature. I cannot give you the Tears of the Phoenix."

The corners of Dracula's pale lips curved into an icy arc, his eyes revealing a strong rage: "If that's the case, then our talks are over."
He stood up resolutely: "I don't care the price, even if it's just an empty word, I want Ophelia back."
Dracula leaves.
Ye Wan was so scared that he wiped the cold sweat off his face: "As expected of a vampire, the aura is really powerful."
She reacted again: "This is not right. He didn't get the Phoenix Tears. Is he going to take revenge on us? With all those bats flying around... who would dare to go out?"
"I'll send someone to take you back, and then I might have to deploy some methods to deal with Dracula." He nodded apologetically to Ye Wan, and Rose said beside him, "Don't worry, I will protect her."
On the way back, the black bats had basically disappeared. The guards were patrolling around with torches in broad daylight. Even so, King's Street was still empty, with only a few stalls in the market.
"People are really scared and dare not go out." Ye Wan sighed.
After returning to the tavern, Ye Wan cleaned up the kitchen and decided to open the business as usual. After all, if even the tavern was closed, it would look like the end of the world was coming.
Today's appetizer is lemon chicken feet, and the main course is garlic lobster and soy milk and yuzu vinegar dandan noodles.
A large bucket of lobsters was caught from the creek a few days ago and kept in the tank for a few days. Today, Ye Wan decided to make a meal with them.

The shrimp shells were cooked until they were shiny red and covered with fried, fragrant garlic crisps.

"This is still a tragedy." The plot of this book is clichéd, but the writing is good and the story is written smoothly. Ye Wan read it with great interest. Then she thought of something and sighed again:
"I think resurrection is irrational and goes against the wishes of the deceased."
Rose comforted him, "Don't worry, it's not that easy for humans to be resurrected. He's just buying groceries!"
The door of the tavern was pushed open again, and the wind chimes on the door rang.
"Welcome." Ye Wan poked his head towards the door.
The person was wearing a tattered white dress, and her waist-length wavy hair was covered with a dirty veil. There was mostly white in her eyes, with only her pupils being a little blue.
The most horrifying thing was that there was a big hole on her face where the skin was deteriorating.
Ye Wan invited her in with great interest: "What an interesting outfit, are you cosplaying as a zombie bride? But Halloween... no, the Day of the Dead hasn't come yet."
Rose's face was filled with fear as she pulled Ye Wan behind her.
