"Unmoved by the eight winds," this is a sharp and moving line of poetry, and it is also the core of the whole poem and the most important one.
The "Eight Winds" are praise, ridicule, slander, reputation, profit, decline, suffering, and happiness.
The Great Wisdom Discourse said: "Profit, decline, criticism, praise, fame, ridicule, suffering, and happiness; the four favorable and four unfavorable can arouse the emotions of animals." These eight are the sum of the success and failure in life.
Everyone will be intoxicated by praise, fame, wealth, and all kinds of happiness; ordinary people will feel overwhelmed when they encounter these good circumstances and joyful things!
It is also human nature to show anger when faced with ridicule and slander, and to feel sad when faced with adversity and hardship.

"Sitting upright on the purple gold lotus" means that the Buddha has eliminated all delusions and has all virtues, so he is not shaken by external circumstances and can sit solemnly and steadily on the lotus platform.
This poem praises Buddha, but at the same time it implies that the author has reached a transcendent state of mind: he is like Buddha, having reached the point where his mind can change things rather than being changed by things.

"Sister, what do you think of this poem?"
Liu Tao was confused and asked Liu Ran.
Liu Ran sighed softly, his expression full of emotion.
"This poem is extraordinary. I'm afraid it will be difficult for Master Chen to give us some advice."
Liu Qing and others looked serious and frowned.
To be fair, if you ask them to point out the shortcomings of this poem, they can't do it!
Wu Feisheng secretly observed the expressions of the crowd and felt very proud.
Chen Yu, aren’t you the teacher of all Confucian scholars in the world?
Jiulian said that this poem still has some shortcomings. If you can't give me some advice, then you are incompetent!
By then everyone in the world will know that you, Chen Yu, have been stumped by the people of Mingzhou!
"Master Chen, please enlighten me."
At this moment, Jiulian clasped her hands together, smiled with pride, and bowed to Chen Yu again.
Chen Yu smiled and said, "I do have two words that just point out the shortcomings."
Um?
Jiulian's expression changed.
He could really point out the shortcomings? And, with just two words?
