A calm female voice came through the phone. Song Yun's ears burned, and his heart pounded like a deer's. His palms were slightly sweaty. He whispered from the other end of the line, "...I miss you. I woke up from a dream and couldn't find you anywhere...Please come back and see me, okay?"
Her voice was soft and ethereal, filled with deep longing. Jiang You could almost picture Song Yun's delicate features, her expression pitiful and endearing. She couldn't help but soften her voice: "I'll be going back in a few days."
The girl seemed to be laughing. Song Yun gripped her phone tightly, listening intently to the sound on the other end.
