When Lorraine finally finished her tiring day, she opened the door from the outside and stepped into the entryway.
The water goddess Xiaoye, who was watching TV in the living room, immediately got up and ran over. When she saw Lorraine return safely, a look of joy appeared on her face. "You're finally back! Honestly, why did you stay out so late? Couldn't you have come back earlier?"

As she spoke, the water goddess Xiaoye brought slippers to Lorraine, who was taking off her shoes, and arranged them in their place.

After putting on slippers, the two returned to the living room.
Lorraine sat down on the sofa and let out a long sigh of relief, looking quite content.
The water goddess Xiaoye also brewed him a cup of hot tea.
"You must be tired after being out for so long. Have a cup of tea and take a rest."
"Thanks."
Lorraine took the hot tea and drank two sips.
Saya, the Water Goddess, sat down next to him and then asked with a smile, "Now, please tell me honestly what you did and said with Kaoru outside today... Don't hide anything, or I'll turn into a magical girl and give you a good beating."

Lorraine almost spat out a mouthful of hot tea, but thankfully she managed to hold it in.

The latter pressed for an answer.
"You have to tell me every single detail of what happened between you and Kaoru today, from the moment you met until you parted ways. If you dare to hide anything, I'll sneak into your room and ambush you while you're asleep."
"I just got back and I'm already being interrogated like a criminal?"
"It's because you came back so late that people were worried! I was worried that you would get killed by Kaoru."
"I'm not so easily killed."
"Hurry up and tell me, you two didn't argue or anything after you met, right?"

Lorraine felt like an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.
Your boredom isn't my fault, so why blame me?
To everyone's surprise, the water goddess Xiaoye replied even more unhappily.
"I thought we could enjoy some happy time together at home this weekend, but I didn't expect Kaoru to suddenly make that request and borrow you without saying when she would return you. Now I've been sitting at home all day."
"I'm back now, aren't I?"
"So what? What were you two doing outside?"
"Well..."
After thinking about it carefully, Lorraine smiled with reminiscence and said with emotion, "I guess you could say we got to know each other properly."
"ha???"

"What the heck???"
Lorraine was pinned down by the other person, and the close physical contact brought with it all sorts of unpleasant sensations, making him feel quite embarrassed.
He quickly reminded him.
"Xiaoye, don't keep pressing down on me, get up quickly."
"I will never get up until you repent of your sins! You traitor!"
